9/14/1901: President Theodore Roosevelt is inaugurated. He appointed three members to the Supreme Court: Justices Oliver Wendell Holmes, Rufus Day, and William Henry Moody.

Teddy Roosevelt, of course, had a Teddy Roosevelt mustache.
Holmes had a harrumphing-retired-colonel mustache.
Day has a "hi, little girl, want some candy?" mustache.
Moody is like, "I have a mustache? When did that happen?"
