Help Wanted
I am hiring a new special assistant/counsel at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
Alas and alack, after 10 years, my special assistant and counsel at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will soon be leaving for a new job. Her position with me will therefore be vacant. If this sounds like a gap you might want to fill, further details are here.

“The special assistant needs to be philosophically and intellectually well-aligned with Commissioner Heriot on major civil rights issues.”
Interesting to see this kind of restriction from someone who seems to consider ideological hiring criteria to be problematic: https://reason.com/2018/08/03/do-law-schools-discriminate-against-cons/
Maybe she has a principled reason for thinking ideological hiring of assistants by Commissioners to be ok even though ideological hiring of faculty by law schools isn't? The scenarios do have significant differences.
