South Bend Mayor Channels Montgomery Burns
Gay 2020 Dem Pete Buttigieg Wants a 'Peace Deal' with Chick-fil-A:
"What about Chick-fil-A? Do you like Chick-fil-A?" the host asked.
"I do not approve of their politics, but I kind of approve of their chicken," the mayor responded.
Montgomery Burns on The Simpsons:
Oh, General Gao, you were a bloodthirsty foe, but your chicken is delectable.
(I should note that the dish appears to be more commonly called General Tso's chicken.)

Simpson’s did it.
Speaking of Simpsons…
Homer’s brother (Danny DeVito): Are you sure of this?
Homer: Kind of.
Brother: Homer, before you answer, I want you to think to yourself, “If I am sure of anything, I AM SURE OF THIS!” Now, Homer, are you sure of this?
Homer: (Holds arms up, fists clenched) “KIND OF!”
Stood up against their politics, but waffled on the food.
Mmm…waffle fries…
Just for the record…
The Simpson’s predicted President Trump. In 2000 A.D.
Best lines. Lisa Simpson: “My fellow Americans and voting illegal aliens”
Also, Lisa planning a massive tax hike and calling it a “temporary refund adjustment”….LOL…. Oh, Democrats.
They also predicted Disney buying Fox
Aww, the memories.
One of the great things about the show is that they make fun of everyone. The poke fun at liberal sacred cows and also at conservative ones.
I’d like to know exactly what he thinks Chick-fil-A’s “politics” exactly ARE. It’s a corporation, for crying out loud.
They make a pretty big show of being devout conservative Christians.
And in the post-Hobby Lobby era, these sorts of orientations can have real effect.

I’ve been in a dozen and no employee has ever mentioned Christianity.
And in the post-Hobby Lobby era, these sorts of orientations can have real effect.
Sure. So long as by “effect” we mean “left wingers feelings are hurt because people with different priorities exist”.
They make a pretty big show of being devout conservative Christians.
They? Who? The company? Other than being closed on Sundays, how?
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln……….
The company I work for is closed on Sundays. Who knew that it too is “show(ing) … being devout conservative Christians.”?
My law office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, though I’ve spent many Saturdays and Sundays in it. The McDonald’s down the block has always been open when I’ve had to work on Saturdays and Sundays. I don’t know what your line of work is, but I’ll bet it’s not a fast-food joint.
1. The Thai restaurant that I like is closed every Monday, and all of February. What does that mean, I wonder?
2. I work for the American branch of a Japanese engineering company, in a non-legal, technical position. More sales than anything else, lately. I do not claim to be practicing engineering, even though that’s in my job title.
My Japanese colleagues seem to have 168-hour work weeks.
OK, so I went to their Foundation donations page, and all that was there about “devout conservative Christians” was…
FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES
In 2017, the Chick-fil-A Foundation donated approximately $1.6 million to FCA. The donation was used to fund sports camps and school programs for inner-city youth in various locations. Many of the school partnerships afford students access to nontraditional sporting programs such as soccer and baseball, which are otherwise not provided. Children who participate in the sports camps and school programming are not required to be members of FCA or sign any FCA pledge.
Yeah no sheek-fill-uh here. Krispy Kreem all the way.
why are people still moaning about chik-fil-a? Didn’t the controversy happen like 5-7 years ago?
Oh, its because it was discovered they donated to the….Salvation Army?
The Salvation Army *and* the Fellowship of Christian Ahletes. Can you imagine the effrontery?!

Because there is no greater sin in liberal society than stating that men in relationships that can only be consummated through anal sex shouldn’t get marriage licenses.
If I knew as little about sex, even about sex that I don’t practice, as you do, I wouldn’t advertise it.
Well, not quite; it’s more that the LGBTASDFQWERTYZBAABBQ activists will not permit any dissent; they demand not just tolerance, not just acceptance, but worship for which they’ll tolerate “breeders.”
Breaking (fake) News!!! Adriano Celentano has just endorsed Dem Pete Buttigieg for President!

So if the SJW’s are going on the offensive against CFA I wish they were a public company and I could buy their stock.
The backlash form the last freak show was a great sales boost
I’ve lived in Indiana all my life and never heard of this guy until a few weeks ago.
I just discovered a few minutes ago that he has a “husband”.
Why are we wasting time talking about him as if he has a snowball’s chance in hell to be President?
