Upcoming Yale Law School panel on the Kelo case and its legacy
On Thursday, I will be taking part in a Yale Law School panel on Kelo v. City of New London and its legacy. The other participants will be Cornell law Professor Robert Hockett (a prominent property scholar), Dana Berliner (who represented the property owners in the case), and Wesley Horton (who represented the City of New London). My talk will focus on Kelo's impact on takings law, which I explored more fully in my recent book The Grasping Hand: Kelo v. City of New London and the Limits of Eminent Domain.
The event will run from 6 to 8 PM, and will be held in Room 129 of the Law School building. It is sponsored by the Yale Center for the Stuy of Private Law, the Federalist Society, and the American Constitution Society. More details here.
