Opus offers "wedgie issue" for the 21st century's second decade
IMHO, the return of Berkeley Breathed's Bloom County is one of the most positive and promising political and cultural developments of 2015. For those unaware, Breathed posts a new comic daily on his Facebook page.
For those who have missed the past few weeks of Bloom County, the presidential campaign is in full swing, and Opus is calling for a continuation of two spaces after every period. In today's installment, we see how much this issue can divide the public. Some may think it's no big deal, but as one character comments, "If they can steal the space between our sentences, they'll come for the hope between our doubts."
Some folks have strong opinions about the obsolescence of the two-spaces rule, so expect this issue to divide the blogosphere. THBFFT!
