Pro bono local counsel for a North Carolina First Amendment amicus brief?
Any North Carolina lawyers interested in being pro bono local counsel in a very interesting First Amendment case in North Carolina? The Scott & Cyan Banister First Amendment Clinic that I run here at UCLA is working on an amicus brief (due in about three weeks), on behalf of a prominent public interest organization, before the North Carolina Supreme Court. If you'd be inclined to help out, I'd be much obliged. We'll take care of all the filing, printing, and mailing costs. Please let me know (at volokh@law.ucla.edu) if you might be interested, and I'll then give you more details.
UPDATE: One of our readers has very kindly stepped forward, and all is now taken care of.
