Supreme Court grants cert in hotel inspection case
The Supreme Court has granted cert in City of Los Angeles v. Patel, a Fourth Amendment case about facial vs. applied challenges. I have blogged about Patel twice before. In 2012, I posted "Fourth Amendment Facial Challenges and Access to Hotel Guest Lists" in response to the initial panel decision. In January of this year, in response to the en banc decision, I posted "En Banc Ninth Circuit Invalidates Hotel Inspection Regulation."
