Smug Laughs & The Constitution
Jeffrey Toobin, CNN's senior legal analyst, gets his giggles by snubbing the Constitution.
The section under discussion in this clip, the 'Emoluments clause,' would prevent Sen. Hillary Clinton from taking a position in Obama's Cabinet. Although Toobin admits a Secretary of State Clinton would "technically be in violation" of the Constitution, he feels comfortable laughing off the whole document. The way he sees it, no one has legal standing to vindicate the rule of law. Ain't that a hoot!
