John Edwards—Honest, SINCERE, and trustworthy?

I thought this question was revealing of each of the democratic candidates. Hillary talks about the personal connections she's developed on the campaign trail, Richardson comments on Iowa picking the underdog, and John Edwards implies that he is honest, SINCERE, and trustworthy. Really though? Sincere? Just watching him answer the question would make any reasonable person question his sincerity.
