What Should Libertarians Make of the Epstein Files?
Plus: Tulsi Gabbard accuses Obama of treason, Congress slashes NPR funding, and a listener asks if we actually like each other.

This week, editors Peter Suderman, Katherine Mangu-Ward, Nick Gillespie, and Matt Welch examine what, if anything, the Jeffrey Epstein saga reveals about the MAGA movement and its ties to conspiracy culture. They debate whether the scandal could derail President Donald Trump's agenda or simply reinforce the need for more government transparency. The editors also weigh in on Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's explosive allegations that former President Barack Obama and his administration engaged in a "treasonous conspiracy" to discredit Trump's 2016 victory. Then they turn to the GOP's $9 billion Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) rescission bill and its impact on public broadcasting. Plus, a listener question prompts reflections on how the Roundtable crew really gets along behind the scenes.

Files charges against all the MAPedo island visitors. After the trials, the documents can be released with redactions on visuals that show MAPedo stuff and names of minors.
Until a week ago I believed in justice and transparency but now that Trump says it's old news, I've moved on. I'm just glad they're investigating Hillary's emails again.
edit: damnit this comment was supposed to be top level, stupid UI
"What Should Libertarians Make of the Epstein Files?"
How about no party members on either side of the aisle want the Epstein files opened?
Obama and Biden clearly targeted Republicans based on information from the files…Obama got Hastert while he couldn’t find anything to prosecute Mark Foley for. Biden got Ghizzstain but couldn’t prosecute Trump because Trump was president and you can’t criminally prosecute a sitting president.
SBF is clearly an imbecilic piece of lying lefty shit. Your trial balloon went down over the weekend, shitstain.
SBF is clearly a sock for Bushpig2. I don't usually accuse others of socking, but it's pretty obvious, especially when considering the writing style and obsession with Dennis Hastert.
I can make a hat, or a broach, or pterodactyl…
birthday card story smokescreen for gabbard's latest?
Supposedly thousands of videos of underage girls being (statutorily) raped. I kinda doubt that zero of them show the rapist.
Statute of limitations might prevent charges. They don't prevent releasing redacted videos.
The dumbest part is all the Trumpies with zipped lips. Bunch of damned cowards devoid of principle.
Supposedly?
Have you seen them?
"The dumbest part is all the Trumpies with zipped lips."
No, the dumbest part is all the TDS-addled slimy piles of shit trying to tie Trump with this, TDS-addled slimy pile of shit.
Release the files ... all of them. Doesn't matter if it can't be sued over due to time limitations. Doesn't matter what side of the aisle you sit on. Doesn't matter how connected or how deep your pockets are. Name names. Show faces by default, blur for the underaged at the time.
Reap the evil that you sow.
I feel I should mention that it isn't a "client list" per se. I don't think there were "clients" , and if there were ... only a fool would keep a list. What does exist is the list of participants compiled from the affidavits / testimony from the girls themselves when interviewed by the FBI. The "who did what", "who was there", eyewitness accounts by the victims. The girls named names and it's a travesty that it wasn't properly investigated.
...the Dem legislation would have required naming the victims as well.
I assume you knew that.

Wait, why did you title this article "What Should Libertarians Make of the Epstein Files"? Why would you presume to tell them what to think when you're not even Libertarians?
They are way fucking more libertarian than you. You are pro-invading Iran, anti-civil liberties, and you want a state sponsored church. You are not libertarian.
None of those things are true. The closest might be the first, but I don't want to invade Iran. I want to bomb it off the face of the Earth.
Anyway, why are you even here? This is primetime for you trick-turning homosexuals. You should be out on the street earning your pimp's next gold tooth.
They are all true and you know it you fucking treasonous retard.
Remember we have you vastly outnumbered and outgunned.
Yes, I know it's true that you're trick-turning homosexual beholden to a pimp who sells your body and keeps all the profits.
And the fact that your pimp has some friends a gun he doesn't even know how to correctly hold, while all you have is monkeypox, does not mean that we're outnumbered and outgunned.
You, Suderman, KMW, Welch, and Vampire Fonz have us outgunned?? It'd be interesting to see your combined range performance.
The only traitor here is you KAR. You’re the democrat.
We’re Americans.
You are a fucking stain on the human race; fuck off and die, asswipe.
KAR, just go get an SDT test and let us know you're OK.
I mean, we know you're not OK - not until you check yourself into the recovery facility - but at least tell us you're still AIDS/Monkeypox free.
Did he hook up with Tony Godiva?
According to this morning's NYT editorial, the Epstein "files" are front and center, Americans are "having none of it [the repression thereof]" and are threatening to "fracture Trump's base" and "energizing Democrats."
IOW, the purported "Epstein files" are like Bigfoot; believe in them as it suits you for whatever purpose you find handy.
MAGAts have spent years howling about the Epstein files. The Democrats didn't create any of this, and only a fuckwitted moron thinks they shouldn't enjoy the MAGAt discomfort.
The democrats absolutely created the Epstein files. By raping all those young girls.
If that were true, why would the GOP resist releasing them?
bacchys.
Is.
Full.
Of.
Shit.
Fuck off and die, shitstain.
