Did Prohibition Teach Us Nothing?
Yes it taught us that the government can in fact build an industry out of banning shit.
a different forever war
It taught multiple generations that it is somehow hip, chic, and sexy to be a gangster.
We learn nothing.
What to know about the AUMF repeal.
That if it really meant anything, Congress wouldn't have passed it - but we already knew that.
Did any stupid thing that any stupid people did ever teach them anything?
Some might have been removed from the gene pool, but that does not count as learning.
I’m not gonna die on that hill, but I’m not sure how you square support of public accommodation laws and individual liberty/freedom of association.
"Did Prohibition Teach Us Nothing?"
Well, we've had a war on some drugs for 50-some years. I'd say the answer to that question is, by now, conclusively "no".
"Us"? If "Us" is a bunch of morons, then prohibition taught "us" nothing.
the podcast in which Nick joins the high school bernie bros and demands the taxation of churches. in Nick's ideal world Catholic schools, hospitals, and adoption agencies would close after being forced by governments to either go against their religion or close their doors. well-qualified gay couples can adopt a child from the 20+ other adoption agencies in Philadelphia, but that doesn't matter to Nick.
I believe Nick Gillespie tends to work far too hard to envision a progressive liberal angle to Trump. Consider Trump to be an iceberg; while you're scanning the top 10% for some great suggestions, the bottom 90% is waiting to wreck into your boat and sink it. We are having to deal with a rising public debt, a pandemic, failing trade and trade policies, and incoherent immigration and foreign policy. But he promotes school choice because, you know, it's all about the kids.essay writing services
