LYRICS:
It's close to midnight, you're walking home alone on Halloween
Under the moonlight, you see a sight that causes you to scream
You start to freeze--not from the scary clown or creepy killer
It's culturally appropriating right before your eyes
You're paralyzed!
Cuz this is Trigger
Trigger Night
And no one's there to save you from a joke that you don't like
Cuz this is Trigger
Trigger Night
You're frightened by the sighting of a bigger trigger tonight
You try forgetting but you just can't color all the pain away
You wish you'd acted like Ben Affleck and looked the other way
Apart you see the most offensive leader in creation
You start to scream, "You dressed up as a really racist guy!"
"Apologize!"
Cuz this is Trigger
Trigger Night
Their skin ain't brown enough so your pants turn that shade tonight
Cuz this is Trigger
Trigger Night
You're pining for the sighting of a bigger trigger tonight
You're gonna trigger tonight.
Non-Chileans eating bass
White people in a yoga class
You stir and stew and boil so hot
it's as if you were in a melting pot…
And whomsoever you have found
appropriating you will hound
As you celebrate this holiday
(which is Irish, by the way)
And the more your outraged tweets are spread
The more the walls are turning red
Perhaps it is about race, hence
One to be the first to take offense
For when you spy what you don't like
your body starts to shiver
for no meek mortal can resist the tweeting of a trigger.

Absolutely brilliant
And also quite innocent: exactly the kind of "speech" the so-called First Amendment community (ha-ha-ha) likes to "defend." But when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, who here would dare to defend the "First Amendment dissent" of a single, isolated judge in America's leading criminal "satire" case? We should do our best to help law enforcement in its efforts to suppress inappropriate "parody," and to keep readers away from left-wing academic "opinion" pieces like this one:

Now I am triggered!!!!
One of the best ever. Made me think for a minute it was Weird Al again, which is amazing with only one zillionth the budget. And I swear he channeled Bela Lugosi there.
Just awesome, awesome.
I also have a soft spot for any Michael Jackson parody. I had a "job", if you can call helping out a friend's garage startup a job, which involved firing blanks in a garage at night to trigger (!) an infrared cartridge to pinpoint a beam on a TV screen for a camera o pick up. This was in suburban San Jose. We used Bad and Beat It to hide the noise. Good good times, fun project, in spite of no pay.
Remy, who's usually brilliant, has outdone himself this time!
Although I find it hard to believe that anyone actually believes unironically in "cultural appropriation." It is the stupidest idea to come along in decades. But it is certainly fun to heap ridicule upon it.
RE: No one's there to save you from a joke that you don't like.
Oh, I dunno about that.
The two biggest jokes were running for president last year was a pretty good one.
Great job Remy!
Remy's in top form. Hope St. Michael isn't offended.
Well done.
The best way to make snowflakes understand is to show them how stupid they look.
