Bearing Witness to the Charter School Revolution
Reason Foundation's Lisa Snell and National School Choice Week President Andrew Campanella
"School choice is the single catalytic reform," explains Andrew Campanella, the president of National School Choice Week. "Parents understand that if they choose the right school for their child, great things will happen."
At Reason Weekend 2015, Reason Foundation's annual donor event, Campanella was joined by Lisa Snell, director of education at the Reason Foundation, to discuss how freedom in education is transforming the lives of students all across the country.

Estonia spends $50,000 to educate a child. We spend $165,000 to educate a child. What is Estonia's GDP?
Estonia child poverty rate is 18%. US child poverty rate is 51%. Test scores correlate most strongly with wealth.
JOBS. Create jobs in the US, reduce childhood poverty, and, voila! Test scores go up, per pupil spending goes down. Stop trying to fix schools with school choice. Start bringing jobs back to America.
You are pretty simple minded, aren't you?
They took yer jerb!!!
Stop trying to fix schools with school choice
No.
And BTW, you're a shitty teacher. That's why they have you assigned here on Saturdays.
Tuesday. Even better.
What a load of shit.
I suppose when the government sets the bar such that every school child is entitled to a free lunch that will mean that 100% of children live in poverty?
Shit...

Assuming a sizable enough number of charter schools won't be toeing the government line, they may well be the last hope for bringing down the machine that's been sucking our kids' brains out and replacing them with statist goo.
What? You are aware that charter schools are just another type of public school, right? They're still government run, and can still be (and are) controlled by the government. Saying that they are any better than public schools because of "choice" or whatever is kind of like saying that getting force fed chicken poo would be better than being force fed turkey poo. It's all still $#!*.
Until the Department of Education is abolished, no public schools - charter or otherwise - will stem the tide. Charter schools have the same core indoctrination requirements.
well that may be that right news
Just keep in mind that charter schools are still public, government controlled, schools paid for by tax dollars. Make sure they're actually good before sending your kids there.
Google pay 97$ per hour my last pay check was $8500 working 1o hours a week online. My younger brother friend has been averaging 12k for months now and he works about 22 hours a week. I cant believe how easy it was once I tried it out.

Reason: Reusing and recycling, but not reducing, old articles.
Will charter school teachers take an interest in why my kid is suddenly doing so much better in school? When I tell them that it is because I am giving him canabis oil to treat his chronic health issues, will they then turn me into the cops?

Fuck that teacher in the neck.
You're missing a space in "into", unless you expect them to make you cops.
Sorry Rob, I was suffering from space rage when I wrote that.
