Caught in His Own Web

Dolf Marais has a hard reputation as KwaZulu-Natal's toughest, no-nonsense traffic cop. In fact, he leads a team renowned for getting tough with drunk drivers. But he was recently caught at one of his own roadblocks, allegedly driving under the influence. According to police spokesperson Thabang Chiloane, "Inspector Marais was not on duty when he was arrested. He is back at work and has not been suspended. He will appear in court, but he has not yet been found guilty of anything."
