China has banned a Nike ad starring basketball player LeBron James because it insults "national dignity" and disrespects Chinese culture. The ad shows James defeating an animated martial artist. The government did not specify what element of the ad it objected to, but the Associated Press reports Communist officials may have been angered that it showed a Westerner defeating the Chinese master.
