From an interim decision of Colorado public utilities commissioner Frances Koncilja describing proposed new rules for various Colorado taxi and car services, handed down May 25:
The attached proposed rules attempt to remove some regulatory burdens and define and impose certain safety requirements as follows: …
i.) Exterior Markings for Luxury Limousines - (Rule 6304).—deletes the prohibition on exterior markings other than the [Public Utilities Commission] number. What a company decides to put on their vehicle is a matter of free speech and the market.
