Editor's Notes

On 19 January 69 the editor of REASON spoke on the subject of student terrorism to a group of Portland (Me.) residents at the home of William Altenburg. He described various efforts directed towards bringing lasting peace to troubled campuses—generally educational activities such as speeches, radio programs, and discussion groups,—which REASON has learned of through its survey of student groups in intellectual opposition to the New Left.
