A May Day Look Back: Grand Jury Resistors Still Feeling Repercussions From 2012 Fallout
Today is May Day, a day when people all over the country rally for workers' rights, immigration issues, and whatever else they feel like protesting at the moment. The protests are mostly peaceful, but last May Day, a small group of anarchists in Seattle vandalized the federal courthouse and a few nearby businesses. Two anarchists, who were not even in Seattle during the May Day protest, were brought in as witnesses. They refused to testify because of their political ideals and were thrown in solitary confinement as a form of coercion to get them to testify.
