Scotland's Largest Police Force Searching Four Times as Many People as London's Met
London has four times the population of Strathclyde, Scotland's largest region, as the chief of Strathclyde's police is set to take over the new national police force
Almost half a million people were stopped and searched last year by Scotland's largest police force.
For the first time, more searches were carried out by Strathclyde Police than by the Met in London, which has four times the population.
