"Homeland" Season Finale Includes Post-Connecticut Shooting Disclaimers

Contains images that may be considered disturbing, the advisory warned

On the same night President Barack Obama mourned the victims during a Newtown vigil, Showtime's Homeland informed its viewers of the show's content that awaited them.

"In light of the tragedy that has occurred in Connecticut, the following program contains images that may be disturbing," the extra warning read ahead of Sunday's intense season two finale. "Viewer discretion in advised."
