Take It Slow

Iran's government has barred ISPs from providing Internet connections faster than 128 kilobytes per second to homes or Internet cafes. The government has not given any reason for the order.  But observers say it is part of a larger clampdown on the media, including a crackdown on satellite dishes, which have long been illegal in the country.
