Brickbat: Double-Barreled Delay

Shotgun owners in the United Kingdom face delays of a year or more for new firearm licenses due to a backlog in police processing. Applicants, including farmers and gamekeepers who rely on shotguns for their livelihoods, are frustrated by the slow pace, with some police forces struggling to handle the volume of applications. More than 1,000 gun owners have had to place their weapons in storage as they await approval.

The Glorious 12th is as worth saving as the Second Amendment.
Shooting is the livelihood of the countyside.
If one must register to possess a shotgun, your government has you bent over the barrel.
That whole country is shot.
It's a shell game.
One in which they might choke.
What? No trigger warnings?
40hrs x60 min = 2400 minutes.
2,400 minutes / 1000 cases = 2.4 minutes per case.
4 people working at it could put 2.4 minutes x 4 people = 9.6 minutes per case on average.
This would be fixed in the private sector.
Fixed? It's working as intended. Dangerous farmers have been rebelling across Europe, they must be disarmed if climate change goals are to be achieved!

Dress as Indians (the other kind) and dump the applications in the harbor.
Form a queue, though. We aren't uncouth American cowboys.
Better to dump the politicians onto the harbor - - - - - - - -
That's actually a harbour, by the way.
Vote for fascists, get fascism.
Whodathunkit?
It will be resolved when dueling caliphates in London and Paris start another Hundred Years War.
I’m not sure if this is intentional, but it reminds me of the leftist playbook when it comes to constitutional rights in the US.
You need to register your guns, but we won’t provide enough staff to do it in a timely manner. You must take a safety course, but we will make sure it is expensive and practically unavailable. You must buy insurance, but we will make sure it is expensive. That way they can play word games and say they didn’t repeal the second, but have made the exercise of it cumbersome, if not impossible. Note that this would fall most heavily on the poorest in our country.
They would love to do it to churches, too, by taxing them. The left could tax ones they don’t like, forcing them to shut their doors, while still shouting they haven’t canceled freedom of religion.
