Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass | Ted Soqui/Sipa USA/Newscom
(Ted Soqui/Sipa USA/Newscom)

The Los Angeles Times reports that the office of Mayor Karen Bass has been editing Q&A sessions from news conference videos posted to her Facebook page. Specifically, they have been cutting out parts where reporters press her about her handling of wildfires earlier this year. The newspaper asked Bass' office why the videos are being edited. It got no response.

    It got no response.

Not true. The response was edited out.

Is there some sort of courtesy period like the 24 hour rule before we can go all in?

When asked about Hunter Biden's laptop Bass offered no response.

When asked 'What is a woman?', Bass offered no response.

When asked who was running the government from 2020-2024, Bass offered no response.

When asked who else frequented Epstein Island, Bass offered no response.

I mean, she edited out the one for which she was the most responsible and most directly got people killed so the others should be kosher, right?

We have always been at war with Eastasia.

They really have to ask why?

    1. Sometimes a Great Notion   11 months ago

No, but always good to give the subject of a piece a chance to respond so we have something to laugh at.

I thought it totally acceptable for black female pols to have their media responses edited to make them look better. And if a white man points is out, it's only because of misogyny and racism.

    Something about saving our democracy.

Straight* out of the style book.

*pretty sure that word is banned too

  6. Quo Usque Tandem   11 months ago

    "It got no response."

End of story, lest you be named a racist and misogynist for bitterly clinging to anything that makes her look bad.

  7. Thought about __ all my life   11 months ago

Okay but REASON knew about Karen when Biden was playing with making her VP. Transparency applies to you too. She was certainly a con then. This was years !!!! ago
