Brickbat: A Bridge Too Far

Brazilian military police officer Luan Felipe Alves has been arrested after he was caught on video throwing a man, who did not appear to be resisting, over the side of a bridge. Alves told a court he meant to throw the man to the ground, not over the bridge. The man reportedly survived the fall, but police said they have not been able to find him.

It's either a win/win or the cops are lying to protect the colleague they just arrested from a murder charge.
"Another video circulating on social media shows a body, wearing a T-shirt identical to that of the man thrown by the police officer, floating in the same river. There is still no confirmation that it is the victim."
