It's happening: Good morning, there's an election taking place today.

The great news is that someone will lose. Or will they? Nate Silver and other pollsters are predicting the final result being shockingly close, with some odds of a tie: "After 80,000 simulations, Kamala Harris won the Electoral College in…40,012 of them, or 50.015 percent," writes Silver. "The remaining 39,988 were split between Trump (39,718) and no majority—a 269-269 tie—which practically speaking would probably be resolved for Trump in the U.S. House."
"In 6 of the 7 key swing states, our final polling average is within 1.2 points; the only one with something resembling a clear lead is Arizona for Trump," notes Silver. "But even there, some polls show Harris leading amidst evidence of a late rebound for her with Latino voters. And Harris has closed comparatively strongly in Wisconsin and Michigan."
Nobody knows how it will shake out, and after the turbulence at the beginning of the campaign cycle that led to Harris ascending in Joe Biden's stead, the campaigns have proceeded mostly like you would have expected: policy-lite, lots of Trump bluster, plenty of Biden-admin-related revisionism, both teams clumsily attempting to figure out how to message on inflation and border. The Dem strategists seemed to have mostly recovered from the wokeness fever that gripped 2020 (and proved unsuccessful at persuading moderates) and we were all probably better for it.
The civil war memes have abounded (see here and here) and The New Yorker published a long feature on the Americans prepping for a descent into political violence. But no matter how this election shakes out, the doomer cosplayers are probably wrong, and we will still have a country at the end of it. A stupid country, full of government-spending-born inflation and violations of our civil liberties and the theft we're supposed to politely call taxation, but a country nonetheless.
"A republic if you can keep it," said Benjamin Franklin in 1787, on the last day of the Constitutional Convention, in response to a question as to whether they'd gone for played-out monarchy or been able to negotiate something better: a republic. It's a corny thing to quote, and even to think about, but I'm leaning in, damn it. This ole country we've got here is a great thing worth keeping, and that wholly transcends who wins or loses today. This is a country where upward mobility is possible for even the poorest newcomer, where you are allowed to worship freely and devoutly, where we've adopted a certain cultural friendliness to help us manage the turbulence of pluralism. We spend each day cooperating with those who are, in many cases, quite unlike us (more so if you live in a large city), mediated by the exchange of money and goods and pleasantries. We get to start businesses, stockpile guns, homeschool our kids, all with some permissions from the state, but by and large far more freedom than almost any other country allows.
None of it is perfect, but the essentials for a good life are more easily gotten here than almost any other place. And, perhaps just as importantly, the freedom to define what a good life looks like to you is freely granted here. It's all a gift—and it's very much worth keeping.
Scenes from New York: Let's help our brethren win (or lose) some dough.
DO NOT SAY, 'My vote doesn't matter' if you live in a state that is very red or very blue. That's just not true!
Hundreds of millions have been bet on the winner of the popular vote, and those gamblers and speculators are counting on you.
Do your part tomorrow.

QUICK HITS
- "Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have tied in the Dixville Notch midnight vote kicking off the official start to 2024's Election Day," reports ABC News. "Following the national trends, indicating a very close race, Harris and Trump each garnered three votes between the six registered voters in Dixville Notch, a small New Hampshire north country town."

Good morning, there's an election taking place today.
Fight fight fight! Or don't. Who cares.
Gen X I assume?
Whatever. 🙂
seriously if he has to ask.
A "close race" means it's already in the bag, baby.
Douggie thought he was on the bag with the nanny. Still ended up losing that one.
Fortification for the win!
Hey, we've known since childhood we'd one day be fighting over toilet paper and fuel in a dystopian hellscape, it's just arriving a little later than expected.
Whatever. We had a good run.
"Fight fight fight! Or don’t. Who cares."
I do.
What % won't vote, won't endorse any ruler but would it they could vote for 1. None. 2. Abolish this form of govt. 3. I'll self-govern.
Once the public accept “the law”, i.e., deadly threats instead of reason, as “protection & service”, all is lost.
Coercion as a political paradigm is NOT moral, just, humane, civil. It creates rulers/ruled, authoritarianism. It invites savage brutality. Psychopaths are given free rein. Public life is chaotic. No one is safe or protected. Even a POTUS is in danger of being murdered by the so-called public servants, e.g., the CIA.
Yet, the youth are programed in govt. schools that this is unquestionable “law & order”. Most do not question it, or much of anything because they are not taught how to think, how to be self-governing, independent. Why?
That would create freedom loving self-confident citizens who would not vote to be ruled.
Amazingly Jeff picks Trump to win.
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/watch-viral-moo-deng-predicts-trump-will-win-us-election-2024/articleshow/114957438.cms
Oink!
Regardless of his pick, they are all brown in the inside.
Wait, I thought we are all pink on the inside.
The great news is that someone will lose.
I live in a swing state, so the great news is the ads will finally go quiet.
I live in Illinois. The bad news is that we still have JB Pritzker, whose weight on issues is only matched by Chemjeff.
You’re saying he is the heavy?
Well he sure as hell isn’t my brother.
He could fill a stadium.
He bends light.
Jeff is so fat that his presence bends logic.
I live in PA, the ads are virtually non-stop.
My sympathies...it is coming to an end.
They are trying to reach the 25 million voters in Philly.
Arizona. Non stop. English and Spanish.
CD2 here will go to Trump. The deluge of ads are for the total state vote and 2 more electoral votes.
The incumbent blue congressman did a 180 on his support of 2A. He still claims to support it with some lame-ass ad showing him shooting a bolt action rifle.
Candidates that are not supporting semi auto handguns with 17-round magazines, AR-15s, or AKs are not 2A friendly. A certain candidate that sarc said is gay shared media of him shooting a revolver. 2A is not about (Elmer) Fudd guns.
Amazing how many democrats pretend to be pro gun for 2 months around an election. More amazing how many dumb voters fall for it.
What state?
He is a Mainer. Why shrike loves him.
In reality no matter who wins we all are going to lose. if Kamala wins we lose more rights and more of everyting we don't need
if Trump wins four more years of the media and politician lying and prosecuting him driving the country into chaos for 4 more years
Most accurate pollster from 2020 has Trump up over 1 nationally and winning every battleground state. Doesn't factor in fortification.
https://x.com/atlas_intel/status/1853588228982317064
That and a nickel and endless recounts will buy you a white house.
and the pentagon not having enough ballots for over seas troops. the last person who didn't want over seas troop ballots counted was Al Gore
There is no way in hell this election should be remotely that close.
The country is filled with stupid people.
And women.
Potato, patato.
If only people of good moral character voted.
But there is no way to ensure only people of good, moral character are allowed to vote.
ITL....and yet, it is. = close
I've had to remind myself: We Are All Americans.
Roughly 80MM Americans will vote for Pres Trump, and roughly 80MM Americans will vote for VP Harris.
The sun will rise in the east tomorrow, and set in the west, regardless of who wins.
And, per the Democrats, if Trump wins the sun will set over the burning ruins of our cities.
that is about the only thing that is certain
Also certainly mostly peaceful.
Sounds great!
And in their fervid imaginations, 40M will be sent to the camps on Day 1, because Trump is literally Hitler.
if Trump wins the sun will set over the burning ruins of our cities
If they keep it to their blue enclaves, we'll be all the better for it.
buring ruins that the democrats burned to the ground but will blame Trump
"The sun will rise in the east tomorrow, and set in the west, regardless of who wins."
It rose and set on Hiroshima on August 7, 1945 too.
Twice!
Chase Oliver 1 below Jill Stein! Fucking LOL! What a sad Leftitarian loser.
""Most accurate pollster from 2020 has Trump up over 1 nationally and winning every battleground state.""
What's the margin of error?
Nate Silver and other pollsters are predicting the final result being shockingly close...
Thank you for that useful information, Nate.
WE ALL KNOW WHAT A CLOSE VOTE MEANS.
Moldova just showed us how that ends.
Chumby’s oracle repeats: All eyes on Chișinău.
It means we get two weeks of Jeffy and Sarc trying to claim the cheating isn’t actually cheating.
Late ballots are perfectly legitimate!
In NV and PA, that is true.
Hey, we can't have rules that threaten (D)emocracy!
Well, we can change the rules if it is (D)ifferent, though.
Elections are just Calvinball for Democrats.
Even worse when they use the transmogrifier.
Or the duplicator.
Or both...
Ballots that are 20 weeks late can still be aborted.
A late term ballot is just a clump of molecules.
A coat hanging chad?
And even obviously forged signatures must be accepted.
Signatures? Who even cares about those? They'll just toss out the signatures before anyone can see, while mixing in the extra fortified ballots.
Now you make me feel guilty and racist and MAGA and garbage for living in Colorado, where all ballots have to be received by the end of today.
Two weeks? 4 more years! Followed by saying investigating vote cheating is unprincipled.
True, those two never quit, do they? With some luck, maybe both will have their heads explode from TDS this time.
Two weeks to slow the vote?
Two weeks to adjust, er, flatten the curve!
Only 2 weeks? Get a load of the optimist up there.
The same two weeks as it took to flatten the curve four years ago.
Managed by the same people.
I predict late night and late week vote shifts all in one direction. Oddly like Venezuela.
No need for widespread fraud. A suitcase here, a suitcase there, flip this county and win that state.
Miss cleo is more accurate
She is so fucking incompetent.
Kamala Harris' interview with a Muslim social media influencer never saw the light of day after the vice president refused to answer questions about Gaza but oddly gushed about bacon - a food religiously forbidden for Muslims.
https://www.foxnews.com/media/harris-campaign-tells-muslim-interviewer-he-cant-ask-about-gaza-she-talks-up-bacon-instead-taken-aback
Gary Johnson thinks she is apparently.
Mind-blowingly stupid = recommend bacon spice to muslim influencer
Well, should she win, we should all feel (un)comfortable that a cabal including Liz Cheney, Barack Obama, and other authoritarian war mongers will actually be running the executive branch.
She is indeed a wonderful, magical animal.
I would respect her if she followed up with drawing a picture of Mohamad marrying a man
Possibly the funniest story of the campaign.
“As part of its radical rush-to-green agenda, the administration gave hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to activists who also engage in political activities,” lawmakers behind the report said in a joint statement. “It was empowered to do so by congressional Democrats who jammed through legislation that was designed to rush money out the door as quickly as possible with no guards against waste, fraud, and abuse.”
The report points to the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, a Democrat bill that, among other things, gave about $41 billion to the Environmental Protection Agency, four times its annual budget, $3 billion of which was for the environmental justice grants.
https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/report-feds-spent-millions-environmental-justice-grants-political
Don't you want the best (D)emocracy that money can buy? Especially government money?
During online activities, I often encounter scammers. They are easily parsed out through their dialects and using Reverse Image Search on profile pics (the Yandex offering usually identifies the original source).
One recent scammer talked about Harris being a good potus choice since she would be the first woman president (apparently Obama doesn’t count) and women would like that. I asked the scammer about Kamala’s husband putting hands on another woman, Kamala ignoring Biden’s interactions with Tara Reid; female secret service agents he insisted skinny dipping in front of; showering with his daughter; groping-kissing-sexualizing-fondling young girls, blow jobbing her way to a promotion, Kamala allowing thousands of rapists into the nation, and Kamala plagiarizing from Wikipedia. Chumby closed with, People wanting less rapes, less domestic violence, less inappropriate sexual contacts and a woman that can lead effectively would not prefer Kamala.
Kamala blows more in office than to she did to get there.
And here I thought Kamala sucked.
It was hard for the scammer to swallow.
He just needed to spit it out.

36 hours? Optimist.
Sounds like someone following an impending hurricane. Maybe they are.
Yeah, but instead of a day or two of high winds, storm surge, and rain, we’re looking at an undetermined amount of time of a major category five shit storm.
I think they'll be cranking it up to 11.
A lot of blowing got us to this point.
Yeah, I am glad people are so engaged but they are going to be changing/adding to the vote totals for the rest of the week, if not longer.
Maybe more people pay attention this time. Although media is once again saying late vote shifts are normal. Even when mail on ballots are much closer to 50/50 this time, the claim will be Republicans don't vote early, ignore the data, 90% batches for Kamala was expected.
I can't wait to see 110% turn-out in swing states. That just shows how much Americans love democracy.
Vote early, vote often!
Which state was it who just reported it showed someone voting 29 times? Michigan I think.
They "Corrected" the computer error as usual
More of the dead rise from the grave on Election Day than Halloween.
Nah, they just came for El Dia de los Muertos and stayed a few extra days to vote.
There’s definitely more people paying attention. And the judiciary isn’t punting everything this time. We’ll see if it’s enough.
Two recent over turned elections just happened. Courts are noticing.
It will take a while to figure out exactly how many faked ballots they need to generate to win, while still maintaining the barest thread of legitimacy (that is, 150% of registered voters voting for Harris might just raise a few eyebrows, but Harris getting 52% of the registered voters to Trump's 50% could be called "human error").
"Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have tied in the Dixville Notch midnight vote kicking off the official start to 2024's Election Day," reports ABC News. "Following the national trends, indicating a very close race, Harris and Trump each garnered three votes between the six registered voters in Dixville Notch, a small New Hampshire north country town."
Not mentioned is that last election it was 100% Biden. Not that it matters. Or does it?
And now half the town isn’t speaking to the other half.
Luckily the town double in size due to an influx of random migrants who all just migrated there on their own volition.
Luckily the town double in size due to an influx of random migrants
Geese are overpopulated in that region and they're decimating the grubworm population! You gotta fucking problem with that?
and they’re decimating the grubworm population!
There's gonna be real starvation there after Kamala wins and the WEF agenda gets passed. What if there are no bugs to eat?
Let them eat pets.
Pets will only be allowed for the elite, and there's no fucking way they'd allow the peasants to eat their pets. "You will own nothing (including pets), and be happy (even when there are no bugs or pets to eat).
But even there, some polls show Harris leading amidst evidence of a late rebound for her with Latino voters.
Her undeniable appeal with the Latinx crowd takes some time to fester to fruition.
I thought Vagistat was made to treat that.
Only on a Summer's Eve.
They might not love her, but many say her laugh is at yeast infectious.
Fortunately, we have a few douches here: Jeffy, Pluggo, Sarc, Misek, Misconstrueman.
Slow clap.
Crappiest Hitler ever: 50 Orthodox Rabbis Endorse Donald Trump
Rabbi Tuly Weisz, who wrote the pro-Trump letter and organized the petition commented. “I saw Rabbi Yankelowitz’s letter and was immediately appalled. As someone intimately familiar with the American rabbinate, I could easily see that most of the 33 “Orthodox rabbis” are neither Orthodox, nor rabbis,” said Weisz.
“Quite a few are woke academics and left wing activists. Many have views that are completely incompatible with Orthodox Judaism. The fact that these are the only ones who would sign an “Orthodox Rabbis for Kamala” letter shows just how little support there is among the Orthodox Jewish community for an extension of the Biden administration.”
The Jewish Press, the country's largest Jewish news publication read by the Orthodox, endorsed President Trump as well.
I thought that whole Nazi smear thing with MSG rally was disgusting. As a Jew, I was insulted. That imbroglio didn't help VP Harris.
One of the key things not being discussed this election is how known errors, intrentional as all errors favor democrats, in the 2020 census gave deep blue states a net gain of around 12 electoral college votes. Including illegals into the census to count towards appropriation also has a large effect.
Without these changes the chances for Kamala to win drop immensely.
"Your moral core is magnificent," Whoopi Goldberg tells…wait for it…Liz Cheney! (Depends on how you feel about hawks.)
She also said Cheney should be kamalas AG. Jeffsaec agrees.
She’s pRiNciPLeD.
(Depends on how you feel about hawks.)
I like the types of hawks that have feathers.
AG Cheney would be worse than having her at DOD or State. IF Harris wins I hope she just sends Cheney to the UN like what happened with Bolton and Haley.
Whippie tells Liz Cheney she should be the “head of the FBI, the CIA, NBC…” to the demented cheers of their trained studio audience, it’s truly a disgusting clip.
We get to start businesses, stockpile guns, homeschool our kids, all with some permissions from the state, but by and large far more freedom than almost any other country allows.
Of course, there are a *lot* of countries.
Final Election Prediction
Pres Trump wins EC 281-257 (carries PA, loses rest of blue wall)
– He will win the most votes, nationally (48.7%)
Senate: Team R walks away with 53 seats
House: Team R ends with 227 seats.
Other: PA will take 7-10 days to count and sort out; unless a it is a blowout (unlikely)
Let the wailing, gnashing of teeth and caterwauling begin!
My bet is about the same, but with Kamala a narrow pop vote win, otherwise copy paste of yours
The House is the biggie, if Pres Trump wins. He would be effectively hobbled by a Team D House.
The Senate seems a lock.
Would still be worth it to stop the unconstitutional EO's from a D prez, even if hobbled by a D house.
R house would be nice to try and get tax cuts maintained, but who knows.
Philly is 600k votes less than 2020 while rural areas are plus 100k. Biden won by 80k. This would imply a 400k vote win for Trump as Philly was the entirety of Bidens voting base.
Luckily democrats have a week to find those 600k votes.
JesseAZ, we'll see how that translates into turnout today.
I don't use 2020 as my comparator. I use 2016. This election is a lot more like 2016 than 2020.
If you use 2016 analysis Kamala isnt close to winning. Even Michigan or Wisconsin.
JesseAZ, let me go back to PA for a moment. I personally think it will go for Pres Trump. It moved in October, away from Kamala. However...
The mail ballot returns for Philly and the collar counties bear watching. Team D is consistently outperforming Team R in terms of return rates.
If Sue Wild goes down, you can call the election for Pres Trump.
See my post. Joe Biden won mail in ballots by 1.2M in 2020. They are only around +600k in Philly and rural areas are +100k compared to 2020.
The mail in ballots in Philly are way down from 2020 overall. The margin is much less than in 2020.
I don't think you can use either 2016 or 2020. The rules were changed so much for 2020, and 2016 might as well have been pre-columbian america given how much GOTV technology has changed since then.
“This election is a lot more like 2016 than 2020.”
You’re absolutely right, but unfortunately the establishment is prepared for a steal like they were in 2020, rather than 2016.
No need to find them. They know exactly where they are.
All that is left is to determine which precinct gets which suitcase.
But it would be fun for somebody to get the wrong suitcase, filled with votes for Joe Biden (D).
Biden could end up winning.
I'm still going with Harris wins, but falls short of Biden's 2020 Electoral College total.
An (R) victory in the popular vote would surprise me more than an (R) victory in the EC.
I agree. The machine just stole the election in Moldova and is in game shape.
Lol, what happen Chumby, Putin couldn't yushenko Sando?
Sandu lost the election. Then after hours ballots from globohomo nations poured in until until they had enough to retain the puppet.
Eu spun muie Sandu.
Maybe Vlad should have planted more bombs on more cargo planes to stop those votes.
Or arranged that the mail planes were built by Bloeing.
The will of the Moldovans doesn’t matter; what matters is globohomo unipolar retains a puppet. Pt Ciorapel, nu imi place dar cred exista rahat la liber.
Maybe the citizens of a former Soviet state understand that Russia doesn't have its best interests at heart?
The majority there voted against Sandu.
Also in Georgia. Europe, not Southern USA.
The Georgian election was stalin.
It is entirely possible, Sandra = I’m still going with Harris wins, but falls short of Biden’s 2020 Electoral College total
Man Liz. Choose better economists. His first argument.
Immigrants increase both supply of labor and demand for labor. There’s no simple one-curve-shift supply and demand model to be used here. The minimum simplest model that doesn’t suck is to shift both curves outward, giving higher quantity supplied and demanded, but indeterminate effect on price, probably close to zero.
The effect of low wage workers is not linear growth at a rate of 1. You can see this in simple effective tax rates charts. Bottom 40% of workers are net drains and resourced. Yet your chosen Economist assumes demand and supply of low wage workers cancels out.
Find better economists.
We literally have rent data. We have house build data. We see demand for housing rising faster than supply with the importation of illegals paid for by federal funds. There is a lag in the curve. This lag is effectively a cost. This cost is cumulative over time. It is a set cost. A big one.
Costs don't exist. Illegal immigration has no negative effects. None.
It is only a few extra…thousand rapes and murders.
...both teams clumsily attempting to figure out how to message on inflation and border.
Which absolutely should not have been the case with the Trump campaign.
Remember, progressive cities are boarding up their storefronts, because they are expecting trump to win and leftists to riot.
Maybe because they're expecting Harris to win and leftists to celebrate with joyful looting.
Is that like reparations?
Either way, progressive cities are in for a shit storm.
Surprising literally no one, Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump.
I was. Not that I don't think Joe would vote for Trump, just surprised he endorsed anyone.
I don't get that either. It is bad for his line of business = endorsement
Randy Sax below, I think (haven’t got that far into the pod) has it right. Joe has a habit of agreeing with his current guest.
Maybe Harris should have done the show?
Probably not, doubt Joe's last minute endorsement moves the needle. Her having to sit for a 2-3 hour unscripted conversation on the other hand would probably be disastrous. She'd be too busy trying to recall the "correct" response instead of just having a conversation. That is the beauty of Joe's format, and I think her media consultant 5 min CNN talking point style would be exposed beyond all doubt.
Yeah, but some of us enjoy a good, old-fashioned, slow motion (3 hours!) train wreck.
I was surprised. But he's spent weeks diplomatically trying to get Kamala on the show promising to let her make her case. When she proved she wasn't up to the task and instead flew to NY on the taxpayer dime for a scripted SNL bit he said fuck it.
I think that her team and friendly legacy media spinning the story as Rogan refusing the interview pissed him off quite a bit. He didn't give in to her absurd demands (less than an hour timeframe and having to travel to her instead of conducting the interview at his studio in Austin, TX), so that apparently meant he REFUSED to allow her on his show.
Following the national trends, indicating a very close race, Harris and Trump each garnered three votes between the six registered voters in Dixville Notch...
Too many Dix or not enough? You decide.
Kamala, very frequent visitor to Dixville. She has serviced that city well
every Halloween she goes as the Dixville Notch
Lol
If we believe the voter psychology experts, that would be 3 dix, and 3 not-dix.
One post surgery transgender could completely alter the outcome.
Permanently and irreversibly.
Do they even HAVE a dance floor?
Surprising literally no one, Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump.
I certainly didn't expect him to. I'd wager I listen to more Rogan than Liz does, he's not really the endorsing type. I think the reason he did do it is because Elon convinced him to.
I think he wants to see legacy media get the rebuke they so desperately need. The angriest I ever saw Rogan was over the "horse dewormer" stuff they said about him.
100%. He's in no way conservative (more socialist than anything), but he loves Elon.
I'm sure the Dems campaign against him during COVID helped as well.
Honestly, that surprised me, too. I didn't really think he'd gain anything from doing so, although he was openly an RFK guy before this, so it's not like he's against endorsing politicians.
I doubt it will move the needle on anything because celebrity endorsements really don't mean much, and they always sound so contrived to begin with. The biggest laugher was Harrison Ford claiming that he doesn't like to jump into politics, even though he's often brought up his left-wing, Democrat sympathies unprompted in several interviews.
I think Elon helped, but RFK Jr. and Gabbard are what really moved his needle.
Yes.
All evangelicals, from Baptists to Vegans, can't help themselves.
Of course, I dismiss any "real life" statements from accomplished actors, since they dedicated their lives to the craft of fooling people.
It's harder to get a job in Hollywood if you are openly "not quite Leftist enough".
Surprising literally no one, Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump.
He had no choice. Feeling the Bern wasn't an option this time around.
"Your moral core is magnificent," Whoopi Goldberg tells…wait for it…Liz Cheney!
Is there anyone Trump can't rehabilitate?
Keith Olberman?
I hope Trump wins just to see Olberman explode, it will be epic
Joy Reid?
Jeffsarc?
sarc?
Ron Perlman?
Himself?
Could Jesus microwave a burrito so hot that he himself could not eat it?
Well, sure, of course He could, but then again... wow, as melon-scratchers go, that's a honeydoodle.
What would Jesus do…for a Klondike bar?
It depends on if it's Jesus or Jesús.
The Cheneys and the rest of the neocons finally figured out that if they want to be accepted by the Cool Kids Club, they have to have the exact same political beliefs as the Cool Kids.

I've forgotten the question but I'm pretty sure JD Vance was wrong about it.

Giant Meteor!
Still time to donate, and voice your preference for the landing area.
Nothing can be taken for granite. Rock the vote!
Location: Washington DC
Seriously, is there any other place Giant Meteor should go?
I just moved to NoVA...
Ah, fuck it. I am OK living next to a giant crater.
Me too. Just hope the splash is mostly inside the beltway.
Tehran, Beijing, Moscow...Earth is big, and has lots to offer a Giant Meteor in exotic hotspots.
Stormy Daniels says she wants to keep Trump out of "our bedrooms.
I for one wouldn't mind some tacky gold fixtures.
Well, someone is really bad at taking their own advice.
Trump loses but wins the popular vote and we read a million opinion pieces about how actually the Electoral College saved democracy
Again, there is no one or nothing that Trump can't rehabilitate.
No matter who wins, we lose.
Bumper sticker intellect heard from.
Got any other points of wisdom from the bumper of a car?
If you can read this you are too close.
You can't hug your kids with nuclear arms
Challenge accepted.
Can I hug other people's kids with nuclear arms?
Bushpig2 said you had him at "hug" kids.
Pluggo would like to split small Adams using the fissionary position.
Don’t belittle midgets cos they be little.
PETA: People Eating Tasty Animals.
Also, one I saw on a tricked-out Jeep:
My Other Toy Has Tits
I love the PETA reference....I am going to use it proudly.
Keep honking. I’m reloading.
Also
My gun has killed less people than Hillary
My guns have killed fewer people than Alec Baldwin’s acting.
Obligatory, my gun has killed fewer people than Ted Kennedy.
Got a t-shirt that says that.
PETA is actually People for the Unethical Treatment of Humans (PUTH). Because everyone in PETA is a PUTHy.
Poor sarc, has a really hard time navigating life.
Who is this "we"?
Me. You. Everyone.
Really? If Harris wins, the fans of authoritarian nanny states lose?
They'll be disappointed, and yes they lose too.
You must be fun at parties.
No grasshopper, he is not.
Again, who is this “we”, kimosabe?
Help me out; is this what the kids call concern trolling?
Binary thinking if I’ve ever seen it.
He just wants to pretend he hasn't been 99% anti trump for 5 years and really just both sides.
No matter who wins, we can all agree that sarcjeff is a loser.
Yes.
Nah, I’m winning regardless.
Stormy Daniels says she wants to keep Trump out of "our bedrooms."
And put Kamala back into our Backpages? What's the matter with
KansasHookers?""This ole country we've got here is a great thing worth keeping, and that wholly transcends who wins or loses today.""
Well many on the left disagree. They believe it was built on racism and must be deconstructed and rebuilt in the name of equity.
'But even there, some polls show Harris leading amidst evidence of a late rebound for her with Latino voters.'
Is "rebound" what we are calling unusual vote counting this year?
No, there's always this hand-wringing about Latinos and blacks supporting the GOP candidate in greater numbers, and every time they end up voting in roughly the same pattern as before.
It's always a lot easier to blame the party that isn't in charge of your city or state than admit you're too stubborn to change your voting habits.
It is about the margins.
Newsweek ran that article about Trump's performance with the Black vote in 2020, exceeding his performance in 2016 and Bush's performance in 2004.
'A republic if you can keep it," said Benjamin Franklin in 1787, on the last day of the Constitutional Convention, in response to a question as to whether they'd gone for played-out monarchy or been able to negotiate something better: a republic.'
But republics are a danger to democracy!
Yeah, but they didn’t have chicks voting back then.
Suffrage succotash!
But democracies are a danger to
communists"democratic" socialists.Where is Nardz?!
Four years of Ray Epps-style fedposting didn’t actually result in any of the commenters committing a mass murder event, so he’s been re-assigned to another blog.
LOL
Still amazed he admitted his own thought process inevitably led to the conclusion that Trump couldn't win ........ but that was a good thing because maybe his loss would trigger the Second Civil War! 🙂
I think the lefties will be calling it the War of Rural Aggression.
The Battle of Ghettosburg will be the turning point in the conflict.
Johnny Reb versus Billie Yank
Walz will support a tampon ration for all union soldiers.
Taste the rainbow!
Union soldiers takes on a whole new meaning for Civil War 2.
He had some comments that were based and on point, but some of them were glowing like fucking plutonium
^This
I think Misek replaced him.
Nardz wasn't a bigot. Rather, he was a zealot who demanded purity of thought and had no hesitation in shooting the rest of his platoon if he suspected they were being soft on the enemy.
Nardz is an antisemite, just not as obviously as the Nazi shit.
He may be spending his time blowing up Teletubbies using tannerite and a .338 Lapua mag.
I didn't always agree with him, but Nardz was my kind of asshole.
I enjoy a good shitpost for shitpostings sake.
Trump loses but wins the popular vote and we read a million opinion pieces about how actually the Electoral College saved democracy
Well, yeah, the "National Popular Vote Compact" is only meant to put Democrats in office, not Republicans.
As are most efforts by our political-media-academic-entertainment-establishment government-WEF industrial complex.
The betting markets have shifted back in Trump's direction the last two days. Polymarket currently has Trump at 63%. They have Kamala winning the popular vote at 73%.
It was a effective barometer until about two months ago when the campaigns realized that people were paying attention to it and the results could be gamed by having wealthy supporters dump huge bets and then tons of little bets.
Polymarket has well over three billion in bets, so I don’t know if the Republicans or even the Dems had enough big donors to shift the odds much.
It's the daily shifts and changes that get the news, not the overall.
I dunno. The polls are apparently garbage and the markets have traditionally been better than the polls. But you may be right. But what else is there to go on?
I have to admit, I've held a vague hope of Trump actually breaking past the steal, but I've seen way too many retarded assholes who know better saying, "I don't vote" or "both sides" or "Trump offends my delicate sensibilities with his coarseness", to think that it's possible.
Even though they have watched a truly fascist bureaucratic autocracy seize control of the federal government since 2020 and recognized what it is, they're still too wrapped up in the old paradigms .
Why does a Canadian who doesn't live in the States, and doesn't ever plan to, give a shit about who wins?
There's a bunch of reasons. The first is obviously family. I have a brother and sister, and several cousins, and dozens of second cousins, and all their families, etc. who are all Americans. And I worry about what a continuation and emboldenment of the fascist junta running DC will do to them.
The second is the repercussions it will have on Canada as America Jr. It will embolden Trudeau. He's nearing single digits in the Canadian polls and is the most hated politician in Canadian history, which has forced him to temporarily pause his WEF agenda of crippling carbon taxes, halting energy projects, fomenting race riots and collapsing the infrastructure through uncontrolled mass immigration. A Trump win will remove his ideological ally, whereas a Harris win will encourage him to to take his foot of the brake and put the gas pedal back on the floor.
Canada is also America's biggest trading partner and vice versa. Our markets are completely integrated. For example we've been able to reach global energy markets by shipping from Texas upgraders which has been enormously profitable for Texas too. But Biden has been blocking our energy from reaching those markets for the last four years. Canada is a primary economy, but the WEF Democrats think forestry, mining, agriculture and oil production are evil and must be stopped (so does Trudeau). This will crater our economy.
Finally, America is a bulwark against globalist ambition. You've been saving the world by keeping them and Project 2030 at bay. That ends if Harris wins tonight. It's not hyperbole to say that the anti-speech policies will harden with a Harris win. That a economic and technological collapse that will leave humanity behind of where it could have been for centuries will occur.
I get it. Trumps unlikable. He's unnecessarily crude, says stupid things and isn't the brightest bulb to ever sit on the American throne (fortunately he's up against a genuinely retarded puppet).
But this isn't actually about Trump, it's about fighting the uniparty bureaucracy, and the ruling junta.
Maybe Trump will be a shitty president, but the continuation of the junta will destroy the west. This is a vote against Obama, and Dick Cheney, and Trudeau, and Macron, and Romney, and Sunak, etc.
If the Harris steal prevails then this really truly will be the most important and maybe the last election in your lifetime.
They will have him killed before January .
In which case, the electors will choose JD Vance as President, and we might have Civil War 2.0 start.
Divorces can be messy. Particularly those that are overdue.
But who gets the kids?
Pluggo’s House of Adoption is an NGO that specializes in taking in parentless children. His efforts are quite touching.
Hey, he’s got feeling there.
Biden and Diddy will split them.
Win or lose. Vance would be wise to start selecting his casket now too.
What makes you so sure the electors would go for Vance as prez, rather than keeping him as veep and finding another potus? If the Democrats could be brought over so quickly to Harris, why wouldn't you think a similar dark horse might emerge among the electors?
The electors are voting for the ticket, Trump and Vance, and would typically not be expected to go renegade or rouge. In some states, they have to vote for the ticket they have been pledged to by law.
If the president-elect dies after January 6, but before January 20, that is specified in 20A that the vice president-elect then becomes the president-elect. If it happens after the electoral vote on December 17, then, likewise, the VP-elect becomes president-elect.
The only really questionable time is between November 6 and December 17.
I think somebody calls that the Hillary Window.
That ends if Harris wins tonight. It’s not hyperbole to say that the anti-speech policies will harden with a Harris win.
I can almost guarantee that a form of the EU's Digital Services Act will get passed if Harris wins. Hillary's been pounding the desk hard for that one, and the Dems are openly stating now that criticism of their agenda and policies is deserving of prison time.
This is why I said that the US is heading for a breakup sooner rather than later. The left is running a reboot of the Spanish commies in the 1930s, who provoked a civil war because their belief in the Manifest Destiny of marxism made them think they could do whatever the fuck they felt like without consequence. Today's left acts in the exact same manner, and why not? They haven't actually suffered consequences yet. It's why they're schizophrenically appealing to "unity" while stating that they're going to throw their political opponents in jail, while bending and even breaking rules that get the hammer thrown down on the right for even the mildest of deviations.
Anarcho-tyrannic states like the left desires have an short shelf life. Eventually, people get sick of the bullshit and lean on a strongman to put these assholes back in their place.
Meanwhile, on the other side of Atlantic, Labour is actually throwing people in jail for literal thoughtcrime, imprisoning someone for praying in their head and not saying anything. When the national divorce happens, the red areas are going to have to take a real hard look at whether continuing a diplomatic relationship with the UK and EU is actually desireable or not, especially the UK given its domination by Labour and the party's open election interference this year.
If your team loses, it will be because your team completely overplayed their hand.
We get it, you don't like illegal immigrants. But calling them 'vermin' and accusing them of being cannibals and eating pets, that is just wrong and it turns people off. Unsurprisingly, it feeds into the narrative that your team is a bunch of bigots. Weird that.
We get it, you don't like government attempts to censor 'disinformation' online. I don't either. But when it does happen, your team claims it's like the dawn of Fascist Germany. Your team completely lacks perspective on what happened. You scream "fascism!" and the rest of the world says "hmm I don't see any shortage of right-wing opinions online, how fascist could it possibly be?"
Your team has gone completely overboard with the transgender crap. We get it, you don't like gender affirming care, you don't like it when boys think that they are girls. But your team took the reaction too far, by trying to pin "transgender surgeries!!" onto every candidate that you don't like. You're using transgender individuals as a prop for demonizing everyone else. And some might say that this is a bigoted attitude to take.
Your team has just lost touch with what it's like to actually debate issues without emotion and outrage. Every argument it seems devolves into "I'm a victim" or "they are fascists" or some variation thereof. Oh and yeah, there's not even a semblance of a mention of sane fiscal policy. That horse has totally left the barn.
So instead of some reflection on how your team has turned into a bunch of emotional wrecks, I fully expect your reaction instead will be "you're the fascists", "we really are the victims", and "it's the end of
AmericaWestern Civilizationthe universe if Team Blue wins". Oh with a heaping dose of WHATABOUT KAMAMALAA?"If your team loses, it will be because your team completely overplayed their hand."
No matter the result, the losing side will have only themselves to blame, and hopefully do some introspection.
Kamala with all of the support from the entire political left, MSM, celebs, to even include the RINOs and neocons now. Running against someone Biden beat with her full on joygasm campaign, unlimited money, more billionaires. If she loses it will be despite literally every advantage imaginable. It will be because she a bad choice.
If Trump loses, the R's will have to sit down and face the fact that they picked a candidate that lost to Biden, who then lost again. Picking someone who lost last time, who can be directly tied to Roe being overturned which motivates a lot of people (instead of someone new), who frankly just pisses off a lot of the country...might have been a poor move.
I personally hope the full on out and open gaming by the establishment and MSM, lawfare, and what amounts to in kind election interference for the dems backfires, and they have to face the fact that they backed the most retarded, unlikable, crippled horse in the pack. But I fully realize it could go the other way. If it does, Trump was a poor choice for the R's.
Translation: "You're only allowed to be controlled opposition to the Right Side of History, you're not supposed to actually resist it."
That's what I got.
Overplaying was the whole point. A good fraction of the MAGA movement is people rebelling against constantly have to follow modern pieties about race, gender, cosmopolitanism, etc. So now they’re going to do the exact opposite, even though they don’t really believe the opposite, and FYTW.
I believe most of them act more bigoted when they’re playing this political game than they are in real life. Case in point: A guy down the hall, when talking politics, likes to say every Palestinian man should be shot and all the women raped. Then later in the week he’ll go out to lunch with a Palestinian friend.
Or a guy that says all the universities need to be shut down since even the chemistry classes are Marxism, then spends Saturday watching college football while his diploma hangs on the wall.
It’s just guy-in-a-bar stuff. Too bad they were irresponsible enough to take their joke all the way to electing someone unfit, for the sole purpose of owning the libs with his unfitness. Not suggesting they should have supported Democrats or even Libertarians. But they could’ve gone back into responsible adult mode, which they're capable of, and nominated any one of a dozen Republican senators or governors who have normal levels of self-control and dignity.
You are an idiot. Look back at the insane primaries in 2016. The Democrats crossed over in droves to vote for Trump because they were sure he was unelectable to the point that Bernie Sanders was in position to win the nomination before they regrouped to cut him out. Democrats put Trump on the stage with policy wonks like Cruz and Paul and their media stooges lovingly relayed every nickname and insult Trump came up with. Rather than suffering to debate an asinine, super-rich celebrity, they wisely retired from the field.
Democrats created the monster. Too bad their candidate was so unpalatable that a self-proclaimed pussy grabber could beat her.
Not to mention that leading up to the primaries the media was giving Trump hours and hours of free publicity. Of course they wanted him to be the nominee - they figured they had someone the corrupt old harridan could beat. And I'm sure they thought the pussy grab tape was their ace in the hole.
Remember when HRC remarked she should be fifty points ahead?
And then she LOST!
And the fascist heads are STILL exploding.
"I believe most of them act more bigoted when they’re playing this political game than they are in real life. One million dollars that White Mike just made up that whole "example" right now.
Case in point: A guy down the hall, when talking politics, likes to say every Palestinian man should be shot and all the women raped. Then later in the week he’ll go out to lunch with a Palestinian friend.
Always fun seeing what made up stories democrats come up with. Good one Mike.
That’s some sarc level bullshit made up story.
Cite?
Really, you took all that bandwidth just to say that, Jeffy? Take your sophistry and fuck yourself with it.
Where to begin? It’s amusing that you think calling out real issues is “overplaying our hand.” My family immigrated legally, navigating every hurdle and paying every fee because they loved and respected their adopted country. They’re not white by your one-drop edicts, by the way, and they didn’t get where they are by cutting corners. They honored the rules, and that’s why they’re proud to be Americans today. But it's baffling how, in your eyes, expecting others to do the same somehow makes us the bad guys.
What’s interesting is how you’re bending over backwards to dismiss concerns as "bigotry". You frame any objection to mass illegal immigration—especially from people who’ve worked so hard to follow the law—as racist, yet never stop to think that maybe the plebs just don’t want to see our communities destabilized by policies that only benefit the few at the top. And you want to lecture about fascism? Jeffy, your “Team” has spent the last four years doing its best imitation of dictators I’ve ever seen in America. Every trick in the authoritarian playbook: silencing dissent, censoring opposition, even turning the justice system into a partisan weapon.
Let’s be honest here: the constant drive to let in people who ignore immigration laws, all while vilifying those who want to keep the infrastructure from collapsing—well, it seems to me that maybe what your side really wants is a compliant serf class. People who won’t complain, who don’t understand the value of freedoms, who won’t dare stand up against the elite agenda. Fascism isn't a slur to you; it's an aspiration.
So maybe the next time you’re tempted to talk down about “fascist paranoia,” take a hard look in the mirror at the man who’s acting like a Nazi.
The attempt to use OSHA to force the jab on all workers was the most totalitarian act by a President since the Japanese internment. Lying fuckweasel Jeffy then tried to claim that Abbott was the dictator when he used his executive power to protect Texans from it.
Jeff the chemist is an unsufferable cunt who values credentials over evidence. He definitely has the heart of a fascist.
He’s a psychopath.
"This is a vote against Obama, and Dick Cheney, and Trudeau, and Macron, and Romney, and Sunak, etc."
ie The West.
You misspelled the "Left". The west thrived this long in spite of the rise of the Leftist. The fall of Leftism would be great for the world.
Also, fuck off mNazipedo.
"The west thrived this long in spite of the rise of the Leftist"
Take it up with Mother's Lament (garbage). I'm not the one wringing my hands over the decline of the West.
Of course you aren’t, globohomo.
I don't think anyone ever imagined misconstrueman would.
Bullshit, misconstrueman. The above represent the globalist authoritarians. Fuck them and fuck you too.
The West is home to most if not all of the planet's globalist authoritarians. Has been for centuries. Whinging about the West's decline shows a deeply confused mind at work.
Again, bullshit. Somehow you managed to miss a shitload of Asian, African, and Latin American dictators there, misconstrueman.
” Somehow you managed to miss a shitload of Asian, African, and Latin American dictators ”
They are anti-Western, anti-American, anti-Globalist. That’s the driving force behind the BRICS initiative. You really don’t need me to point this out to you, do you? I am surprised as you are usually more perceptive than this. Why are you being so silly?
The newly expanded BRICS will include Algeria, Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. None these countries is thought to be of the West. For that you have to look at Mother's Lament (garbage) original comment: France, UK, Canada, US are all Western nations. You can't deny it.
"ie The West"
Those globohomo one-world-government tools are not the West. They're its parasites.
Everyone in your little list is a major figure, nay, leading figure in a Western country.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-_m6EZ1SUk
Yes. I know.
What's your point?
To be annoying?
"What’s your point?"
Sorry if it wasn't clear. You purport to be concerned with the fate of the West, but bizarrely are claim: America is a bulwark against globalist ambition. No, America is the focus of globalist ambition, and has been for decades. The UN, the World Bank, NATO, G7, Nafta, and more, all globalist institutions, and rely on American leadership. The notion that America is the bulwark of globalist ambition tells me you are confused or misled.
I genuinely believe that cos-playing women who dress up at handmaid's tale breeding slaves are feeding into their own dark fantasy desire to be owned as a sex slave by high status men
It's true.
^This. It's their kink.
No different than a guy who puts on a dog collar and pays a woman to step on him and call him names. Except these women can pretend it's a political and moral stance.
Yes, for some women their libido is wired into their feminist politics.
Speaking of fantasies, I bet AOC likes to cosplay rape, including handcuffs.
I think AOC is probably the one who pegs the guys in dog collars.
No, big-mouthed lefty bitches like that can’t get off unless they’re being dominated in the sack. Her claim that people were looking to rape her on Jan 6 was just her telling on herself.
"...Stormy Daniels says she wants to keep Trump out of "our bedrooms."..."
Unless he pays.
Biden/Harris tried three times to turn my office into their bedroom.
Dems are trying to turn school bathrooms into bedrooms
If we were still living in a normal day and age and we were still a normal country filled with predominantly sane people, we'd be having a fairly normal election about things like tax policy, spending policy (as best as I can tell, our insane $2.1 trillion annual budget deficit never even got mentioned by anyone), and key foreign policy questions like how should be handling Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Palestine-Iran, etc. etc.
Instead, we're having an election about whether or not we get to continue having a sovereign independent country for much longer or not, mostly because nearly half the country (the left) has gone completely stark raving bonkers.
I feel pretty good though, because our top far left Dipshit (Sarah Palin's Buttplug) is still off in hiding like the gutless cowardly little pussy that he is.
Haven’t seen Jeffy this morning either. Sarc’s popped up at least once.
Jeffy is driving out into the woods this morning to try and bait a bear into the trunk of his car to release on his neighbors with the Trump sign in their yard.
But he keeps eating all the bait-donuts before he gets there and has to circle back into town.
People may be betting on it, but...
THERE IS NO POPULAR VOTE.
The “popular vote” is to presidential elections what total yards of offense are to a football game.
The goal of a presidential election and a football game is to put points on the board. In the election, that’s winning states (and thus electors), in football that’s getting the ball across the goal line or through the uprights.
Having 500 yards of offense and 14 points is a losing proposition if the other team has 21 points but only 150 yards of offense! STFU crowing about “Yeah, but we ran up and down the field on them and they couldn’t move the ball!” THEY put POINTS on the board–THEY did what it takes to win the game. There’s ZERO points for total offense.
In their contest, Clinton had 658 yards of total offense (she had 68.5M votes) and Trump had 629 yards of total offense (62.9M votes). But the fact is, that despite moving the ball up and down the field somewhat better than Trump, she turned the ball over 5 times (lost 5 state that Obama carried twice) and failed to score points when it counted. Someone crying about total yards off offense is readily countered with “Scoreboard!”.
Because the rules are the rules, we can’t really look at the aggregate vote totals.
Campaigns and elections are based on the rules of the Electoral College. Everyone planned their strategy for campaigning based on garnering EC votes. Voters in locked-in states made their Election Day decisions to perhaps stay home knowing their candidate had basically already won (or lost) their state.
Based on the final score of a football game played under the current rules you can’t say who’d have won if 2 points were also awarded based on each first down gained, because team strategies would change based on the different rules in effect at the time of the game. If fouls in a basketball game resulted in 2 points being deducted from your team score rather than allowing the other team the chance to shoot 1+1 or 2 free throws, think the game would be played differently?
If the winner needed to win the popular vote nationwide, campaigns would run very differently and voters’ behaviors would be very different.
In addition, there's simply no requirement that a state even hold a presidential election.
"Clause 2. Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress; but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
Note that there's not a word about "popular vote". There's not a word about holding any elections within a state. A state's Electors are determined by whatever "Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct". If a state decides that the Governor should appoint Electors directly, they can do that. If a state decides they will allow their Congressional Representatives and Senators to each appoint an elector, they can do that. If a state decides to have an election and appoint all their Electors to the statewide winner, they can do that. If a state decides to hold elections and appoint Electors, one per district based on per-district results, they can do that. If a state decided to appoint electors by a random lottery, they could do that, too.
Electoral College magic trick...let's say that 2 years ago California passes legislation that allows the governor to simply appoint the state's electors. Perfectly Constitutional.
Had this been in effect this election, we can assume Gavin Newsome would appoint 54 Democrats for VP Harris.
The EC results remains unchanged, but the "popular vote" likely swings to Trump. With no election in California, there are no California "popular votes" to count. Based on the last contest, VP Harris would have ~9M fewer popular votes and Pres. Trump would have ~5M fewer popular votes. So Harris would have "lost" a net 4M "popular votes" while retaining all of California's electors.

That is a very good point.
Good analogy.
I agree. I used to use a similar one, about the team with more runs scored in the World Series, but losers of 4 games, claiming they really won the WS, but I like the NFL yards one better. I'm going to steal it going forward.
"I’m going to steal it going forward."
Walz: "This guy runs a mean pick 6!"
“Good analogy.”
It is a poor analogy. The country is divided into states. A football game is divided into quarters. The winner is determined by the score at the end of game.
It would be fitting to see all the prog talking heads have to defend the EC if they lose the popular vote, and will be the end of plans to give the blue states EC votes to whoever wins the popular vote.
and will be the end of plans to give the blue states EC votes to whoever wins the popular vote.
Nah, they will still need that in the future assuming no other rule changes.
>>after the turbulence at the beginning of the campaign cycle that led to Harris ascending in Joe Biden's stead

gross is the Handmaid's Tale loser blowing its nose standing at the voting machine?

Stop reelecting the same cunts to Congress. Next time you get the chance. Please.
I voted to elect a brand new cunt to Congress, Larry Hogan. Happy? Cause I'm not. Fuck Larry Hogan.
Likewise, but my cunt is a Democrat and I voted for a new cunt of the opposing party.
If you can't have a good cunt, you might as well go with a new one.
Scenes From New Hampshire Libertarian Party?????
If you say New Hampshire, and Libertarians, I don't expect much of a party.
Edgelords seize.
>>Surprising literally no one, Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump.
I was surprised. dude was a Bernie Bro.
Tulsi was a Bernie supporter as well. The whole reason she resigned her DNC post was because of the email leak that showed DNC apparatchiks going out of their way to submarine Bernie's candidacy.
With those two, as well as guys like Taibbi, it's more about them being anti-establishment as much as it is the actual policies, and Bernie always did talk a good game about the latter even though he's the biggest fucking jobber in US history since William Jennings Bryan.
>> it’s more about them being anti-establishment
I'm glad everyone came home.
"he’s the biggest fucking jobber in US history since William Jennings Bryan."
A true Bob Backlund of US politicians
The difference is Backlund actually held the title for several years before they transitioned it to Hulk Hogan via the Iron Sheik loss. Bernie’s more like an upper-tier jobber such as Barry Horowitz, the Italian Stallion, Sam Houston, or S.D. Jones.
I saw Hulk & Sheik in 1984 at the Spectrum
Backlundater won the title a second time against Bret Hart when Owen convinced Helen to through in the towel in a submission match. Then he lost it in a squash match to Diesel.
So were a lot of 2016 Trump voters. They hated Hillary’s policies and her/DNC’s thumbs on the scale.
Edit: a lot ;poor wording, I meant a good chunk of Bernies base jumped over to vote Trump in the general.
Rogan was very hostile to Trump for years.
I think all the dishonest attacks he underwent red pilled him a hell of a lot.
I cant wait to find out if we're going to shut down free speech and enter world war 3 or if we're going to Mars.
Trump, Musk, Vance, Gabbard and RFK Jr. will all be dead by January. The CIA is going to be busy.
Musk and Vance are actually made guys. Musk because he's putting all of our satellites in to space, and Vance because of his ties to Peter Thiel, who's CIA-sponsored.
That said, made guys can still get whacked with the boss's okay, but of those two, Musk is the one it's mostly likely to happen to. Vance is relatively low on the totem pole and he even admitted, via his discussions on East Palestine and the opiod epidemic in his Rogan interview, that he's not completely tied in to the Swamp and how it operates.

It's going to really suck when they get to Mars and realize that the air is too thin to push a turbine, but plenty thick enough to bury all their solar panels in dust. Nobody is ever going to live on Mars.

Vote for the lesser of two evils...again.
No, there’s one that’s obviously evil while the other is just middling.
To put it in a different light, the LESSER of the two evils greatest accomplishment over the last nine years - aside from keeping us out of new wars and making us energy independent - was to make the FAR GREATER of the two evils reveal itself to the whole world as the conniving globalist fascists they really are.
And to see the Reasonistas fail to make that simple connection time and time again, well, you'd almost think they were ROOTING for the Greater Evil Conniving Globalist Fascist Anti-Liberty Control Freak Cocksuckers...
Washington Pose editorialist posits selecting legislators by lottery.

Couldn't be much worse, could it?
But the lottery would be rigged by the Dems, and you'd still wind up with the AOCs, Omars, and the like winning the legislator lottery, totally by "chance," of course.
Two weeks to flatten the curve *cough* I mean count the ballots...
The numbers quoted by Silver mean that, oddly enough, there were exactly 270 simulations in which neither candidate got 270 (or more) electoral votes, and a tie therefore resulted. Kinda weird.
It's now 3:42 PM EST on Election Day, and I will go out on a limb here and predict that Kamala Harris will win by a significant margin. Not a landslide, perhaps, but a solid, undeniable win with about 51% of the popular vote, to 46 or 47% for Donald Trump, with the remaining 4 or 5% going to third-party candidates. Trump has made an utter fool of himself over the last few weeks, and I just don't believe that the American people are foolish enough to elect such a man.
It’s true, there are plenty of mid-wit boomers retarded enough to believe what CNN and MSDNC told them about Trump.

Shenanigans in Republican district.

The District 31, Precinct 3 polling place on Muldowney Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln Place neighborhood opened late Tuesday when the election judge did not arrive.
Poll workers did not have the supplies needed to open up the site.
According to election workers on-site, a fill-in judge was brought in, and at approximately 8:15 a.m., efforts were being made to open the polling place.
Some were in line at 6:30 a.m. to cast their ballot. Don Hoover, a voter, got their before 7 a.m. and ended up voting provisionally.
"It's probably the biggest election of the century. And, you know, this is not a time for a hiccup," he said.
Provisional ballots were also being used. An election worker told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 less than 20 people had to vote provisionally before they got the machines up and running.
Despite that, the voters impacted said they were not thrilled about the situation.
"It's not the the poll workers, it's the leaders. And that's what has to change. And that's why we're here to try to change it. And with there being, you know, all these obstacles in our way. It's really absurd," Joanne Walls, a voter, said.
A county spokesperson said provisional ballots will not be counted tonight. It will take several days to count them.

We had a delay at Whitehall-03. The judge of elections was late, they have arrived and the site is open and running now.
Pittsburgh 31-03 (Lincoln Place) the judge of elections did not come to the polling place this morning. The sheriff is retrieving the poll book from the judge of elections and will take it to the polling place, Lincoln Place Presbyterian Church. There are poll workers in place so upon arrival of the polling book, the site will open as normal. People are able to vote provisionally at this location now.

PENNSYLVANIA ELECTION INTEGRITY:
Early this morning we learned that Republican poll watchers in Philadelphia, York, Westmoreland, Allegheny, Lehigh, Cambria, Wyoming, and Lackawanna Counties were being turned away.
We deployed our roving attorneys, engaged with local officials, and can now report that all Republican poll watchers have been let into the building.
We will keep fighting, keep winning, and keep sharing updates.

I attempted to vote in Champaign County, IL early this morning and was told the internet for the entire county is down and I couldn’t vote. I then requested a paper ballot and was told that they aren’t set up for that. I asked what is the manual process in the event that the internet fails. There is not a manual process.
