“I’m going to feel like the biggest idiot taking this to court.”
His authority was challenged. His whim was questioned. What else can he do???
Actually, it looks like he got marching orders from the city, trying to clear out street vendors probably ultimately at the behest of brick-and-mortars, but in a way that skirts state law prohibiting the prohibition.
Meanwhile defecating in the streets is ok. Got it.
He needs to bring a sheet that he can spread to catch the bubbles on.
Get certified as a Minister of Christian Bubbleology, Reformed, or even easier just shout "Free Mumia" now and then. Claim 1st Amendment protection.
And then he said "Kid, what were you arrested for?" An' I said "litterin'"
And they ALL moved away from me on the bench!
Welcome to California.
ATF is upset the cops didn't bludgeon and shoot the disobedient bubbler.
I'm forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the ...
STOP RESISTING! BLAM BLAM BLAM!!!
The picture someone added to this article is misleading. Snakenberg is an adult whose street performances include blowing bubbles. I presume he passes the hat while performing. There might be a legitimate case for restricting when and where he can cause a crowd to gather and watch, or requiring a license for this commercial activity.
But that's not the law the ranger claims to be enforcing. He "feels like an idiot" because he IS an idiot.
More proof that Kalifornia is beyond redemption.
