Not even pretending to have a take on this? Just a ... not even a link. Just a URL.

Yeah, Reason plus is really worth spending money on.

    1. diver64   11 months ago

I don't think a comment is needed. The video pretty much says it all.

    2. Rod Flash   11 months ago

It certainly cuts down on the whiney complaints about Reason not presenting yhe whole story.

      1. mad.casual   11 months ago

You say that like no one could possibly have a valid concern for hearing both sides of a/the story.

    3. Chipper Chunked Chile Con Congress (ex NCW)   11 months ago

That is really phoning it in, for sure.

  2. rbike   11 months ago

USA Today. Nope. Not. Going there.

  3. Fist of Etiquette   11 months ago

    A man's bag? Now I've heard everything.

    1. diver64   11 months ago

It's the same type I carry into grocery stores that require you to bring your own. I'm guessing that he carries notebooks, papers, copies of bills, research etc in it instead of lugging a backpack. Didn't those type of bags used to be called "beach bags"?

  4. Á àß äẞç ãþÇđ âÞ¢Đæ ǎB€Ðëf ảhf   11 months ago

Here ya go, some quotes, a a good juicy video well worth it.

To figure out who was dumping the water, Carroll installed a $23 spy camera in the hallway pointed at the coatrack outside his committee room, Seven Days reported. He then took the videos to House Speaker Jill Krowinski, who confronted Morrissey about it, according to the outlet.
In a written statement obtained by Seven Days, Carroll said he was "very reluctant to disclose the video because I believe it will deeply embarrass Representative Morrissey." However, he realized that "the media are aware of the details of Representative Morrissey’s behavior, and likely will continue to report on that behavior in the near future."

Also a couple of frames from the video.

Me, I'd have released the video straight to the press, held a press conference, blind-sided that damn fool. No mercy.

    1. diver64   11 months ago

For something that stupid I'm in total agreement.

  5. SQRLSY One   11 months ago

Why is Reason carrying water for a story that carries no water?

    1. LIBtranslator   11 months ago

Maybe the story is passing water, but buttering no parsnips.

      1. SQRLSY One   11 months ago

"Butt Buttering Your Parsnips" would make a MOIST Excellent name for a garage band!

  6. diver64   11 months ago

I know the article tries to make it a R vs D thing but this sounds more like a personal beef resulting in behavior fitting of grade school kids. She needs to be shown the door. Jesus, what a tool

    1. sarcasmic   11 months ago

Were the party affiliations switched everyone in the comments would be screaming about how it's more proof of how evil Democrats are. But since the jerk was a Republican, well, nothing to see here. Move along.

      1. Á àß äẞç ãþÇđ âÞ¢Đæ ǎB€Ðëf ảhf   11 months ago

No one else has mentioned party affiliations. I didn't even know what they were, but I can make a guess from your comment alone. If you were truly being sarcastic, you would have made the same joke regardless of party affiliations.

        You really are the worst.

        1. sarcasmic   11 months ago

No one else has mentioned party affiliations.

Of course not. When the jerk is a Republican it gets swept under the rug, or the usual suspects cry and whine before attacking leftist tReason for picking on Republicans they should instead by talking about Democrats who must have done it first and worse.

          1. Don't look at me!   11 months ago

            Poor sarc.

          2. Á àß äẞç ãþÇđ âÞ¢Đæ ǎB€Ðëf ảhf   11 months ago

Then let's turn that around to your point of view and see how the foo shits.

Of course not. When the jerk is a Democrat it gets swept under the rug, or the usual suspects cry and whine before attacking leftist tReason for picking on Democrats they should instead by talking about Republicans Trump who must have done it first and worse.

Dang, that's foo really shits up a damn good match.

            1. sarcasmic   11 months ago

The only possible way you can claim I defend Democrats is by equating criticism of Republicans with defence for the other tribe.

It makes sense though. I’ve never seen any serious criticism of Trump or Republicans from the chief attackers of Democrats, including you. Why? Because your attacks are deflection, and you simply cannot criticize your own tribe.

You then project that onto me and claim I’m a Democrat.

Sorry bub, but some of us think for ourselves. I’d suggest you try it sometime, but if you do you risk being kicked out of your tribe. So I won’t. Being without a tribe kinda sucks since there's no one to back you up. But it's the price I pay for a clean conscience.

              1. Á àß äẞç ãþÇđ âÞ¢Đæ ǎB€Ðëf ảhf   11 months ago

If you have a clean conscience, it's only because you've been brainwashed.

                1. sarcasmic   11 months ago

My clean conscience is a result of not voting for cunts like Biden or Trump, not being part of any cult of personality, and keeping my own sense of morality instead of giving it up to be part of a political tribe.

  7. Don't look at me!   11 months ago

    Stop voting women into office.

    1. Ajsloss   11 months ago

Genitals are the second most important thing.

      1. Earth-based Human Skeptic   11 months ago

Oooh, that sounds like a good debate topic for happy hour at the faculty lounge or the next DEI staff corporate retreat: what matters more, skin color or genitals?

        1. Vernon Depner   11 months ago

According to DEI, genitals are of no significance.

      2. Tyval Dayall   11 months ago

That would make a great song title.

  8. sarcasmic   11 months ago

Link to Daily Mail's article on the subject.

  9. Earth-based Human Skeptic   11 months ago

Can't we blame this on Putin or capitalism?

  10. SRG2   11 months ago

It [...] is not reflective of my 28 years of service and civility.

Had she done it once, then possibly. Repeatedly over 5 months? Different matter.

    1. Don't look at me!   11 months ago

      “I normal don’t get caught “.

      1. SRG2   11 months ago

        Ha, excellent!

  11. LIBtranslator   11 months ago

No way could a Quisling harridan--even one who already betrays her female constituents into coercion and enslavement at the hands of Republican mystical fanaticism--stoop to ruining the property of a politician from the rival party committed to the protection of individual rights for all individual persons in repeated acts of sabotage and vandalism month after month, right? Let's have a voice vote to determine if what you saw her do is fake news, starting with the Jesus Caucus.

  12. AT   11 months ago

Oh Karen, you just can't help yourself can you.
