Brickbat: Missed Delivery

Police in Cobb County, Georgia, have arrested former U.S. Postal Service carrier Ebony Williams on charges of theft and forgery. Police saw Williams getting into a car that had been reported stolen. When they approached her, they saw letters scattered around the interior of the car. After getting a warrant, they found ripped-open checks among the mail in the glove compartment and trunk. Police believe Williams stole the checks instead of delivering them.

So the postal police did an investigation and got to the bottom of missing checks?
The check is in the
mailgovernment employee postal carrier’s possession now. The Phony Express! How is she supposed to buy her own car if you criminalize her source of income?
"Ebony"? DEI at work.
Just think, if we were all using crypto we wouldn't have this problem of money being stolen and all the fraud inherent in the system would be due to diverse individuals like Josh Garza and SBF.
Probably the only White woman in Georgia named Ebony.
She’s no peach.
I see now why Georgia residents are having such a hard time getting important mail. The junk mail arrives daily but anything else is either weeks late or never arrives.
I believe Sen. Jon Ossoff has been vocal on the issue and trying to determine why the USPS service has been so pathetic. Maybe he should look into the amount of mail theft and other crimes going on in the Atlanta area postal facilities.
I believe the USPS is basically a jobs service for those that are unemployable elsewhere. Although the employees can be relied upon to make sure election ballots from Republican-voting areas never arrive at their destination that is about the extent of their reliability.
Jon Ossoff should look into seeing how many mail-in ballots were disappeared by postal workers.
Georgia? Isn't the narrative suppose to be, "No widespread fraud!!!!" /s
"Facing three felonies. Out on bond."
Sigh.
