I’m paid $185 per hour to complete the task using a laptop. I absolutely didn’t think it was Qf conceivable, but my dependable buddy convinced me to give this straight forward chance after a Month she made $26,547 in just 4 weeks working on it. Visit the following page to find out additional

    I love these comics.

Did he make a case against pay equity in frame 5 of the 2nd part?

Wilt Chamberlain may not have been the best example for Nozick to cite in arguing against social and economic Egalitarianism, at least not as years went by.

Muggsy Bogues is only 5'3", yet was a Hell of a point guard and blocked 39 shots, including from 7' Patrick Ewing:

Perhaps it would have been best for Nozick to emphasize that strengths in one area can be weaknesses in another, and that inequality combined with freedom can be an incentive to innovate and defy conventionally-accepted limits.

Going from excellent entertainer who is tall to another excellent entertainer who is (by the profession's standards) quite short is not a valid counter-example for the point being made.

Nozick's point was that basketball fans would have gladly paid more to see a game with either Chamberlain or Bogues than a game with you or me. (Assuming, that is, that you're not a professional basketball player hiding behind that username. I'm certainly not.) That debunks the Egalitarianism claim that you and I are "worth" just as much as Chamberlain or Bogues despite our lack of physical traits, talent, training or any other reason for fans to want to see us play.

      1. Get To Da Chippah   2 years ago

Correct. You can look at attendance numbers for the three-week long NFL players strike in 1987 to get an example of how disinterested (or in some cases hostile) fans were in watching second-tier players.

Sounds like protests on college campuses against diverse intellectual viewpoints is nothing new and nothing to worry about.

    1. Rossami   2 years ago

Bait and switch. The concern expressed above is not mere protests but threats of disruption. And while you are correct that even disruption threats are not new, they are always something to worry about. (And they are considerably more important to worry about as you get actual disruptions, not mere threats.)

    2. Mother's Lament   2 years ago

      nothing new

True. Fascist students rioted throughout Europe in the late 20's against the communists being allowed to speak and vice versa.

      and nothing to worry about.

Nope. Always terrible, always wrong and should always be opposed.
