Brickbat: Off Road, Off Limits

The U.K.'s Advertising Standards Authority has banned two ads for Toyota trucks, a poster and an online commercial, for showing the trucks being driven off road. The agency said the ads "presented and condoned the use of vehicles in a manner that disregarded their impact on nature and the environment." Officials added that the nation's advertising code requires that ads be "prepared with a sense of responsibility to consumers and to society."

Toyota forgot to add rainbows, trannies of color, and a Ukrainian flag in their campaign to take the old dirt road.
I'm making $90 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning 16,000 US dollars a month by working on the connection, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply. Everybody must try this job now by just using this website... http://www.Payathome9.com
Covering the earth with concrete and blacktop shows respect for the environment.
Much as it pains me to say it, it's Toyota, not Ford.
Of course, nothing warms my heart more than to see it get the shit ratioed out of it everywhere except the continent they were targeting where no one can buy (ICE) trucks.
Well, that's pretty incredibly gay all right.

I heard this was after one complaint. Oh well, won't stop my Tacoma if I ever do go off-road with my limited 4 cylinder 2 wheel drive unit.
The U.S. is about 6 years behind the U.K. But we're gaining rapidly. Sadly.

Nothing says environmentally friendly like paved roads?
Religious fundamentalists believe in the superiority of their religious teachings, and in a strict division between righteous people and evildoers. This belief system regulates religious thoughts, but also all conceptions regarding the self, others, and the world.
This describes the eco-cultists perfectly.
It's absolutely a religion. You can tell by how they can't actually make any of the supposed scientific arguments themselves, can't respond to scientific critiques of the dogma, and point to the writings in the holy scriptures when their reasoning failures are pointed out. They also get hella pissed when you point out that it is a religion.
That's not satire?

The U.K. used to be somewhat pragmatic in their approach to government. There used to be a difference between the Conservatives and the Labor Party in their policies and their actions. It used to lead to some ability by the citizens to reject Party policies and actions based on the outcomes. That now appears to have gone down the drain together with what little semblance of rationality the rest of the world's government used to have. Where is Monty Python when we need them?
