A South Korean Apology
A 27-year-old apologizes for the massacre led by his grandfather.

On May 18, 1980, paratroopers under the control of General Chun Doo-hwan tortured, beat, and killed hundreds of pro-democracy activists in Gwangju, South Korea. The activists were protesting Chun's coup and declaration of martial law, as well as nearly two decades of authoritarian rule by his predecessor. On May 18, 2023, 27-year-old Chun Woo-won, pictured bowing, met with survivors to apologize for his grandfather's initiation of the Gwangju Massacre.

So a man is apologizing for something he didn't do. Makes sense for their culture which hold you responsible for actions you took no part in.
See, for example, how Progressives think everyone in the Southern US is responsible for the Civil War.

It is a cultural difference but the description of that which hold you responsible for actions you took no part in is purely from your cultural perspective.
They would describe their culture from their perspective and in their language as we are interdependent with others via relationships rather than mere transactions.
The very structure of language describes a key difference - how often do you use the word I/you v we/they. The particulars of which sub-groups individuals see themselves as interdependent with can vary widely - from tribal/kin groups to some broader 'collective' identity that is more akin to ethnicity/nation - and can also change over time.
If my father punched someone in front of me, I wouldn't hesitate to apologize to that person for his actions. If my group of friends harassed someone, I would apologize for their behavior.
We in the west apologize for things we didn't do all the time.
It is a dog eat dog world.

One of the reasons the world is unlikely to become a totally peaceful melting pot prospering with mutually beneficial free trade is the subtle but deep cultural differences between world views held by the people in those cultures. Although critical race theory would dearly love to use shame over the deplorable behavior of our ancestors to gain political advantages, it's quite unlikely to prevail in the United States! I don't feel even a little bit of shame or responsibility if one of my sixth great-grandfathers owned slaves. My third great-grandfather did everything he could to end slavery and my fourth great-grandfather died in a Confederate POW camp over the issue. This "apology" by a South Korean grandson illustrates the fatalist belief system that will make it difficult to ever achieve a rational worldwide culture. Another illustration of the situation would be trying to establish a rational relationship with Islam or fundamentalist Christians.
I am making really good money (80$ to 100$ / hr. )online from my laptop. I was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbour advised me she changed into averaging $100 however I see the way it works now. sd370 I experience mass freedom now that I’m my non-public boss.
