Brickbat: Supply and Demand

Even as the National Health Service struggles with a shortage of doctors, the British government has ordered medical schools to hold to a previously announced cap and admit no more than 7,500 medical students this year. The cap was put in place to limit the cost of educating medical students. It costs the government £160,000 (about $200,000) to educate each new physician. Medical schools face financial penalties if they admit too many students.

Because so many in England are covered under the National health, one doesn't just call the dentist and schedule an appointment for the the following week-it can take months to see a dentist. And the English are not the only country that has bad teeth, based on what I've seen in other parts of Europe.Time to put this tired old trope down.
The Brits will always be indentured to an association with poor dental health.
England braces itself for yet another brush with social decay.
Home earnings allow all people to paint on-line and acquire weekly bills to financial institutions. Earn over $500 each day and get payouts each week instantly to account for financial institutions. (bwj-03) My remaining month of earnings was $30,390 and all I do is paint for as much as four hours an afternoon on my computer. Easy paintings and constant earnings are exquisite with this job.

"it can take months to see a dentist"
Complete nonsense. Emergency/urgent dental treatment is available on an appropriate timescale. Typical waits for non-urgent appointments are two to three weeks. Of course most people in the UK are not entitled to free dental care, and pay fees, so are seen privately anyway.
Can't argue with that - if they educated no doctors at all it would cost nothing. Well, practically nothing, you'd still need all the school administrators. But you could get rid of the faculty!
British socialists continue to doctor their healthcare system resulting in shortages.
Reason should checkup on public opinion, see if average Brits might put some bloody pressure on these gits.
Behold, the economic thinking of welfare state politicians.

What if you paid your own way?
Paid your own way with what?
GB is socialist, remember.
No one actually has any money anymore.
There are plenty of very rich British subjects. How long has it been since any of them lived in the UK?
You know, in my if I could rule the world day dreams. I fantasize about making it a requirement of accreditation, that medical schools have to increase their class sizes to match population growth.
I can't imagine what the fuck the brutes are thinking by limiting their incoming doctor pool.
Requiring increases in class size to match population growth assumes that the current ratio is correct. It also ignores the possibility that the right ratio will change over time as, for example, the population ages (requiring more treatment) or technology improves (enabling fewer humans to provide the same treatment).
I agree that this artificial restriction on class size is stupid and self-destructive. But artificial increases would not be all that much less bad.
Amen! Markets figure things out just fine all by themselves.
I am making $92 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $16,000 a month by working on a laptop, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply. Everybody must try this job now by just using this website. http://Www.workstar24.com
This is in addition to the systemic inflation as well right? All the extra classes where they have to learn how to avoid offending anyone who thinks they were born in 1619 and how to distinguish evil, expectant TERFs who find their way into the maternity ward from the bepenised women who have a right to be there, right?
You people are all missing the point.
It doesn’t matter how many doctors are educated in the English medical schools.
Healthcare in the government system is delivered almost entirely by substandard doctors imported from abroad.
Graduates of the medical schools, who are probably competent, will all go into the private health system.
The government has completely abandon the specialties of orthopedics and cataract surgery which is universally delivered in private hospitals.
The private healthcare system in England is growing by leaps and bounds as the government delivered healthcare system collapses
The Brits really need to implement Canada's euthanasia policy. Oh, wait, they already have.
For those living there and subsisting exclusively on British cuisine, this is a welcomed surprise.
Google pays an hourly wage of $100. My most recent online earnings for a 40-hour work week were $3500. According to my younger brother’s acquaintance, he works cs-02 roughly 30 hours each week and earns an average of $12,265. I’m in awe of how simple things once were.

Utopia! We MUST implement MEDICARE FOR ALL, and have it administered by the VA.
Not a problem. They'll just continue to poach doctors from 3rd world countries.
Poaching is easy over there. It’s more scrambled stateside
Here's an idea, have medical students pay their own way. Oh wait, I'm sorry, too obvious isn't it?

Treason.com flat-out lying again. Medical schools, like other universities, are not allowed to increase intake _without making provision for the increased numbers_. That's all. Obviously we can't allow teaching standards to be lowered to increase throughput. Any school which wants to put on more classes for more students is welcome (and encouraged, and paid) to do so.
Are the medical schools allowed to make provision for increased numbers and then admit them? That would be inconsistent with the stated goal of saving money. Can you cite anything that says otherwise, or can we just assume that you're a sock puppet for a bureaucracy that kills with reckless indifference?
I am making a good salary from home $6580-$7065/week , which is amazing under a year ago I was jobless in a horrible economy. I thank God every day I was blessed with these instructions and now it’s my duty to pay it forward and share it with Everyone,
