Brickbat: What a Pill

Makayla Crandall, a school health technician at Florida's Destin Middle School, was charged with three counts of grand theft of a controlled substance, five counts of child neglect, and one count of failure to maintain narcotics records. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office said Crandall stole prescription medicines she was supposed to be holding for and administering to students, including Adderall. In some cases, she replaced the medicines with over-the-counter pain relievers.

Then you are a moron.
You don't get sarc do your idiot, and the fact too many kids are medicated. Nuance too much for your tiny brain?
A "school health technician"? That doesn't quite sound like a school nurse, more like part of the school nurse's staff. How many staff members does the school nurse have? When I was in school we had one school nurse that covered 5 schools - 3 elementary, the junior high, and the high school. I don't recall dozens of kids dying from medical emergencies.
Larger schools might have this technician to manage medclicines while an actual nurse still covers multiple schools. Some of these are pretty large compared to what they were 20 years ago.
For elementary kids this makes some sense. What i find absurd is that they won't allow a high school kid to administer their own medicine. If they get caught with a controlled substance, even a prescription in their name, the 'resource' officers get involved.
There's also the case that there's cross-training. A special ed teacher may have a health technician certificate so that she doesn't have to constantly go to or wait for the nurse for medications, can fill in when the nurse is on leave, etc., etc.
I am making $92 an hour working from home. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $16,000 a month by working on a laptop, that was truly astounding for me, she prescribed for me to attempt it simply.
Everybody must try this job now by just using this website. https://cashapp7.pages.dev/
Ha, the school couldn't be trusted with a copy of the key.
That would be correct. No non-medical staff are trusted with keys to narcotics. I believe that requirement is based on federal law though I'm having trouble finding the right citation this morning.
No problem busting into it, though.
saving the children from their dope-fiend parents lol.
When young, should-be-healthy high school students in a tiny, remote backwater in Florida have enough narcotic pain medication stored in a cabinet to make worth stealing, you know America has a problem.
When the street price of just one of those pills is inflated to current levels (almost entirely because of our failed attempts at prohibition), we have an entirely self-inflicted problem.
All of our problems in America are self-inflicted.
Oh, and remember, this is LEGAL medication. Imagine the street price if it were illegal!
It might actually be cheaper if it was illegal. Insurance can jack up the price of what would otherwise be cheap medication. Medicare part D did more for drug company profits than any innovations in medicine ever did.
What kind of crank would advocate dispensing illegal narcotics?
Google is presently paying $10447 to $13025 every month for working on the web from home. I have joined this activity 2 months back and I have earned $15248 in my first month from this activity. I can say my life is improved totally!
