Brickbat: You Can't Fail
A government watchdog found that 179 ineligible nonprofit organizations received a total of $684 million in Paycheck Protection Program loans. The loans were supposed to help small businesses that were closed by government mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At least they’re not going to make dirty profit with all that cash.
How else are the people who run the non-profits supposed to make bank? Surely you don’t think the term “non-profit” applies to them, do you?
Those loans were supposed to help poor, politically connected recipients!
Still, it’s less than 1/4 of 1% of the money Biden’s trying to give to people who couldn’t budget their college loans.
So that makes it all right in your book?
Be fair. Under Biden’s COVID guidance (and future anti-capitalist vision) almost all enterprises were non-profit. It was hard to separate those that intended to lose money.
You mean Trump’s. He was president for almost a full year at the start of the pandemic. The one who got the PPP program through. The one who started the pandemic helicopter drops.
Somehow you have a problem with that? Trump has been a Democrat his entire life and governed as a centrist, he just didn’t kiss your asses play along with concern trolling. That the left didn’t embrace is just another example of their cancer on the American body politic
Please…the hypocrisy is rank.
Unintended consequences are not always unforeseen.
Predictable consequences are never unintended.
Only a radical extremist would deliberately seek to embarrass The Bipartisan Kleptocracy by generating fake news suggestive of government fraud and waste. Our looter parties are way too practical to stoop to such scurrilous tactics, right?
Don’t nonprofits also have employees that have to be paid?
After leaving my previous job 12 months ago, i’ve had some good luck to learn about this website which was a life-saver for me.They offer jobs for which people can work online from their house. My latest paycheck after working for them for 4 months was for $4500.Amazing thing about is that the only thing required is simple typing skills and access to internet.

A government watchdog found something. Blah blah blah. Nobody cared and business went on as usual.
179 ineligible nonprofit organizations
Or in the case of the National Association of Atheists, a non-prophet organization.
Although I would prefer that these subsidies never existed (and government had refrained from the over-reactions that made them necessary), I am curious why non-profits were excluded from the give-away.
