Brickbat: That Smell

The Iowa City, Iowa, school district plans to spend $350,000 to put sensors in high school restrooms to detect vaping. The school system last year banned "possessing, distributing, or using drug paraphernalia, including vaping, on school property or at school-sponsored or approved events off the school grounds at any time, including official school events at other schools." The funds for the sensors will come from a special property tax for school physical plants and equipment.

I'm earning 85 dollars/h to complete some work on a home computer. I not at all believed that it can be possible but my close friend earning $25k only within four weeks simply doing this top task as well as she has satisfied me to join.

So what?
Yeah. What's the story here?
Taco Tuesday those sensors are going to go nuts.
"Dammit! That sensor in the girls locker room is going off *again*, since I'm the only man who identifies as a woman around here, I suppose I'm the one who has to go and fix it... *again*"
When Iowa City West High School opened in ~1970, it had an area for student smoking. It was still talked about when I started there in 1980. One of my older sisters boyfriends recalled it fondly
Attitudes at the school must have changed greatly since even when I went there.
My jr high had an unofficial smoking area that was left alone entirely. In high school, they were trying to ticket my parents for me seen smoking in a car.
My brother's high school had a smoking area as late as 1977.
My high school in western New York still had their smoking area when my younger brother graduated in 1982. Everyone said it was better than people smoking in the rest rooms.
I thought it was funny when it would be closed for a day as punishment when a teacher smelled someone smoking marijuana in it.
My high school in Arkansas, graduation 1984, had a smoking area for faculty and students. Behind the gym so it was a trek.
What's the over/under on how many minutes it tales the students to figure out how to disable/bypass the sensors?
-20 minutes from when they get installed.
Great use of taxpayer dollars, meanwhile Johnny still can't read.
Reading is racist. All Johnny needs to know is pronouns.
Pronouns and no vaping! Crack and weed are ok for Johnny though.
Apparently they have never heard of stealth vaping. Will be hysterical when the alarm gets tripped because a student has just ripped a really steamy fart.
Brownsville Station (and later Motley Crue) have been warning us about this.
funds for the sensors will come from a special property tax
hmmmmm.... they have a bunch of unused Federal Funds to fix this non-issue.
...and meanwhile Johnny still can't read.
Will the school resource officer be confiscating teacher’s lounge coffee makers? Would hate for teachers to be modeling use of a mood altering drug like caffeine.
The smell of vape surrounds youuuuuuu.
Well once again the problem is the public schools. Get rid of public schools and let private schools spend their own money on their own hair brained schemes if they wish.
