Well, obviously each subsequent possession of illicit drugs gets a lighter charge. That's just how the law works.
Can 2 different drug dealers pass ownership back and forth 30 times, thereby reducing the sentence to just about nothing? (Let's get an army of lawyers working on this!)
The secret was it was only 99 pills. If it was 100, they would have dropped the boom on him.
Knowing both the cops and Reason's shitty reporting; the original perp was arrested with something like 400 pills, 200 got booked into evidence and earned him 20 yrs., of which Anderson stole 99, earning him, potentially, 10 yrs.
like fictional fractional reserves in reverse -- sort of.
The combo of qualified immunity and the union should be enough to make this go away.
The fentanyl was worth 20 years in 2021. It's only worth 10 years now due to inflation.
End drug prohibition.
Did he really steal 100 and take one? It might explain how he got caught.
Can't be. This is fentanyl we're talking about. We all know it would have killed him on the spot.
