Brickbat: Sex Education

Richard Dunn, a substitute high school teacher in New Jersey, was charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and one count of lewdness after police said he masturbated in front of students on two different occasions. Police said a student captured one of the incidents on video.

Ya but Commie-Education steals from people to pay for such "?learning?".... So even if people didn't want to pay for such things; Gov-Guns makes sure they have no Individual Liberty/Choice in the matter.
Not much else to do in Nutley, NJ.
Masturbating in Nutley gets you the sack!
Just the next step after drag queen story hour, what's the big deal?
Oh, so suddenly sex education is outlawed.
When high school girls (or guys, don't know his persuasion) are so hot, wtf are you supposed to do? Are we onanism-shaming now? What ever happened to sex positivity?
Does he identify as male? If he identifies as female, she was not masturbating, she was giving a hand job. But who got the paychecks, him or her? If him, then not only is the school board not woke, but he was paying her, and that is prostitution, a cis het white rich male activity.
Lewdness, okay. Endangering welfare? I'm not seeing that. "Welfare" general means meeting the bottom two layers of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Masturbating in front of someone is gross, uncomfortable and inappropriate but it's not a "danger" when you can avoid all harm by merely closing your eyes.
Or looking away
Everything's a danger these days. Words are misused and abused to make a point and obliterate their meaning so that no counter argument can ever be made. For example, Mike Pence opening his mouth is a danger that could melt thousands of snowflakes on any college campus.
Or, you know, sometimes that stuff travels. A kid in the front row could get something in the eye.
Their masks will protect them.
depends where it went.
Once again, the problem is with the system itself. Sell of the public schools. The new private schools will need teachers, and they will gobble up the good teachers left behind. The bad ones like this award winning union employee can learn how to dig ditches.
Probably not; digging ditches these days requires advanced training on heavy equipment. I also requires accepting responsibility for your actions.

Who are we to get in the way of the academic freedom of public school teachers to teach whatever the fuck they feel like teaching though?
You read my mind.
Best not to start tossing off puns about this jerk. They’d just go Onan Onan Onan…
Calm down, he was merely 'queering the classroom'.
Seriously.
Jeffery Toobin also teaches school. The man has skills, not to mention manual dexterity!
Why is this a brickbat? Per Jacob Sollum's "logic," since the guy didn't touch any kids, only himself, it's not really a problem.
