A Savannah-Chatham County, Georgia, special education teacher, has been charged with felony cruelty to children for using zip ties to bind a student in her classroom. Elizabeth Louise Board, a teacher at Godley Station K-8 School, reportedly tied a boy to his chair and to a table. She faces five to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Pro Libertarian Tip: If you can slip a nail or a pin or the loose end of the zip-tie into the little clasp that holds the length of the zip-tie in a loop, right under the little plastic piece that clamps the zip-tie length, then you can loosen the zip-tie and get free. There are YouTube videos on the subject. I've tried it and it works!

Remember also: A rope is at it's weakest at the point where it bends to form a knot and a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. And sooner than you think, the freedom you save may be your own!
