Brickbat: Bad Teacher

Columbia, South Carolina, police have charged John Meredith Jennings with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. Jennings is a reading interventionist at Longleaf Middle School. Police say Jennings inappropriately touched two girls between 2014 and 2017. One was between 6 and 9 years old in that period and the other was between 10 and 13 years old. Richland School District Two has placed Jennings on leave.

I expect the parents will find, they can't sue the school for hiring this creep and allowing this to occur, but if it was a private school I'd bet they would sue and win. It's an important point for parents, in holding school employees accountable: there's a lot less accountability for government schools, which is why we should have school choice, because forcing our children to be in government schools without accountability, and not telling us about their indoctrination of kids, is immoral and a form of slavery, which Democrats claim to be against.
