San Francisco officials have kept private gyms closed for months. They claim it is necessary to reduce the spread of coronavirus. But some city-owned gyms have remained open, allowing police officers and other city employees to continue to work out. A local TV station asked city officials to explain why government gyms were allowed to remain open and was told only that private gyms would remain closed at least until the end of September.

It's all theater. That and exercising their power. The news this morning in Columbus talked about the 'positivity rate' at OSU but never said if anyone student was sick, in the hospital, ect. I assume none are. And one county they said a had a high rate the last 2 weeks, 100 positive out of 100,000, doesn't have any where near 100,000 in the whole county. So 15 , 20 shoots up the 'average'.

Did a little looking, Athens county, just over 67,000 and almost all cases in Athens, Ohio. Numbers went up after O.U students returned. 117 active cases, no deaths, no one listed in the hospital as of now.

OSU is fine because they already issued their suspensions to the bad apples that were partying. Even took down former residents of party houses, their neighbors and tenants that were not even in Columbus because classes had not started yet. The administration took the guilty until proven innocent approach.

Also, the protests happening at OSU because of the black students that have been charged with a hate crime (apparently blacks cannot be racist and, according to one student, even if they are it doesn’t matter because the white community will be fine), won’t have any effect on spreading the virus. But goddamn those drunken orgies... sorry, wrong OSU president.

I said at the start of this thing that the coronavirus was created as a crowd-control device, specifically aimed at breaking up the protests in Hong Kong. The US grabbed that idea and ran with it. You can use the coronavirus excuse to ban any sort of gatherings that might turn subversive. BLM protestors? That's fine. Church? No, no, no. We all know the sort of people who go to church.

Government gyms still open? But government workers need to keep in shape! Duh!
