Brickbat: Uncovering a Problem

Liusdan Martínez Lescaille, 12, has been bullied repeatedly for wearing a kippah to school in Nuevitas, Cuba. Education officials have reacted by banning him and his brother from wearing the kippah to school. His parents, who are Sephardic Jews, say prosecutors warned them they could lose their guardianship to their children if they violate the ban.

Perfectly sensible commie solution.
This happened in Cuba. If we're doing international Brickbats, I can think of a lot of things a hell of a lot worse than a kid being told he can't wear a hat.
"international Brickbats"
I have seen Great Britain here a number of times, but then that's just a future glimpse of how some would have us become.
The article speaks to freedom of religion...a kippah is not just a hat to Jews, just as a cross on a necklace is not just the letter "t" to Christians...
Cuba, the communist paradise, is intolerant of religious practice?
Mind blown!!
Religion is the opiate of the masses
Fentonal is the opiate of the clingers
WTF is Fentonal? Some kind of printer cartridge ink?
FENTANYL.
Ignoramus can't spell; how can you believe anything else he rants about?
Look at the name, dude. Parody account.
The original is a parody.
Gets me every time
Nothing like the freedom you have living in a Socialist country...the freedom to act just like everyone else.
Not going to school in Cuba is probably better than going to school there.
I mean the schools teach total revisionist history that Socialism is great and DIDNT kill over 100 million people for the cause.
Sounds familiar.
Socialism is great and DIDNT kill over 100 million people for the cause.
But that’s true. The total is more like 200 million dead.
No, those weren't true socialist paradises. The true count is 0. Socialism hasn't been tried yet.
200 million and counting in just the attempts... that place must be a paradise!
Bueno.
So who among us will come to their defense? Reps. Omar and Talib per chance?
And yet every liberal Jew I know can't wait to vote Democrat. I guess being a physician or an engineer does not guarantee you will see a certain brand of politics as not necessarily being in your best interest.
As Dennis Prager likes to say, intelligent ≠ wise.
