Watch Nick Gillespie Live on C-SPAN at 9 A.M. E.T., Discussing Libertarian Rhetoric
Call in to Washington Journal and ask a question!

I'll be on C-SPAN's Washington Journal at 9 a.m. E.T. today, discussing my feature from the April issue of Reason, "Everyone Agrees Government Is a Hot Mess. So Why Does It Keep Getting Bigger Anyway?"
C-SPAN in on basically every cable package in the country and you can also stream it live here. Washington Journal is a live call-in show, so ask a question if you've got one.
I interviewed C-SPAN founder Brian Lamb about his network's recent 40th anniversary and the roots of his commitment to "unfiltered" government. Check out "Lies About Vietnam Inspired Brian Lamb To Start C-SPAN" here.
I've been appearing on C-SPAN for 20 years (!) and during a 2011 interview about the book Matt Welch and I wrote (The Declaration of Independents: How Libertarian Politics Can Fix What's Wrong With America), Lamb made some casually cutting remarks about my wardrobe. Watch that here. Full interview here.
Update (5:20 P.M. E.T.): Here's the segment (and no, despite the screen shot, I'm not angry).

I'm guessing it was a 'spur of the moment', thing, Nick, because you sent the notice just 55 minutes before the damned show even started and some of us aren't even awake at 7 00 am central, let alone keep track of your agenda every hour on the hour.
Really? My online viewers will call my cell phone as soon as I enter certain locations. Don't you have a contact watching the CSPAN studio who can give you a heads up?
I've seen lots of bad movies, bad porn, tacky rooms, people embarrassing themselves thoroughly, and there is nothing that makes me cringe more than the call-in part of Washington Journal. I'd rather sling garbage bags than moderate that shitshow.
Now you know how the rest of us feel when we read your pos- no that's too easy.
Have a nice day, Tony.
Call in shows are banal as a general rule.
Tony, when I'm uptight I watch this.
ASMR Epic facial.. in bed

Is this SFW or for people who've just eaten?

You repeat yourself, Tony. Switch to X-hamster. Their gay porn has more than guys get humiliated in tacky rooms.
Yeah, why did my call get cut off? I was just about to get to the thrust of my argument that Democrats are destroying the country with Socialism. That snafu really had C-SPAN embarrassing themselves.
I'm older than CSPAN? No wonder I have trouble relating to all those hip CSPAN viewers.
Thanks for the video and for editing out all the commercials, but why am I watching it on a 56K modem?
Wouldn't it be better if you had an actual, you know, real libertarian to talk about libertarian rhetoric?
+10
What? No leather jacket?
Someone on Twitter has posted a composite pic of Nick in all his C-SPAN appearances. He has worn the same shirt every time!
Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail.
