Brickbat: You Go, Girls

Forest Hill, Texas, Mayor Lyndia Thomas and Mayor Pro Tem Beckie Hayes resigned before a hearing on allegations of misconduct. The two applied for city reimbursement for two $545 tickets to attend a stop on Michelle Obama's book tour. Hayes received a check but returned it after a citizen's group complained.

Would have resigned as well if that was the complaint.
Start working at home with Google. It's the most-financially rewarding I've ever done. On tuesday I got a gorgeous BMW after having earned $8699 this last month. I actually started five months/ago and practically straight away was bringin in at least $96, per-hour. visit this site right here..... http://www.mesalary.com
If they learned on the tour their method to skirt official repercussions it was all worth it.
Haha
So it was educational on the job learning. Sounds at least like buying those tickets is tax deductible.
""I will not leave my fate in the hands of other individuals," Hayes told ABC affiliate WFAA on Wednesday. "I am a woman of integrity, and the allegations, they have no substance. They are false."
Is she saying they went to a Cowboys game instead?
"We don't get a salary, but we are entitled to be reimbursed for our expenses," Thomas said. "We are not trying to hide anything."
Might want to start digging into her expense reports if she thinks attending a Michelle Obama book tour event qualifies as a reimbursable expense. Does she think her mortgage payment and her groceries and vacations in Puerto Vallarta are reimbursable expenses as well?
Not attending would have been racist.
Speaking of walls closing in, long time Trump associate and man with a tendency to make shit up, Roger Stone, has been arrested by the FBI on six counts of making false statements, witness tampering, etc.
". It provides the most detail to date about how Trump campaign associates were aware in the summer of 2016 that emails had been stolen from the Hillary Clinton campaign and wanted them released. It alleges that unnamed senior Trump campaign officials contacted Stone to ask when the stolen emails might be disclosed."
How is this a crime?
However, Stone apparently asked Randy Credico to "do a 'Frank Pentangeli,'" which is suborning perjury. So he will be squeezed to get Trump.
Look, the FBI guys, they promised me a deal. So, so I made up a lot of stuff about Trump 'cause that's what they wanted. But it was all lies. Uh, everything. And I kept saying the Donald did this and the Donald did that. So, I said yeah sure -- why not?

When Mueller drops The Big Nothingburger on Congress, it's gonna change everything.
"Speaking of walls", which of course nobody was talking about, illustrates once again Old Beaner lubricates like Nancy Pelosi whenever anything remotely critical of Trump surfaces. Build The Wall.
Roger Stone indictment
Roger Stone, the political busybody who worked for Democrats and Republicans get charged with federal crimes of obstruction for telling Congress he didnt have the emails he did have between him and Julian Assange.
CIA DIrector John Brennan lies to Congress about violating the US Constitution by spying on Americans without warrants and the FBI ignores that.
Yeah, nothing suspicious going on with the Deep State.
Another interesting tidbit that is not discussed much.
Hillary Clinton's campaign used British spy Christopher Steele to be the intermediary with Russians to get dirt on Trump.
This potentially got the Russians focused on Hillary's campaign since she was pushing Bernie Sanders out of the presidential campaign. Bernie Sanders being the self-professed Socialist. The Russians easily cracked Podesta's Gmail account.
She began investigating whether Clinton "rigged the nomination process" as emails hacked from the DNC and published by WikiLeaks last year had suggested, she said in an except of her new book coming out next week that appeared Thursday in Politico.
The Russians could bribe Hillary if she became president by threatening to release the details of Hillary's skeletons.
Bernie Sanders would have never won, but if he had, he would tried to implement Socialists policies above what Obama tried and Hillary wanted.
I read Stone's book: "The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ" and it's a pretty good read. I hope he beats the rap so he can shit on more politicians.
Perjury is wrong and another reason nobody should ever talk to government officials when you have something they want.
With that being said, this guy helped facilitate Wikileaks exposure of Hillary and the corrupt DNC.
He's a hero of sorts.
That reminds me... Remember the Nixon Anti-Libertarian Law passed within 24 hours of the LP filing its papers to become a thing? Has anyone at Reason checked how much the IRS diverts yearly to entrenched looter parties under SECTION 801. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN FUND ACT?
Silly mayors. You have to get into congress if you want taxpayers to foot the bill for your personal expenses.
Oh, come on. They're Democrats. The government is supposed to pay.
$545?
Why the fuck would an ordinary Joe who will never be in a position to turn that access into money or power bother to pay that much to attend an event where the feature is the wife of an ex-president?
