"We will close the Border permanently if need be," President Donald Trump tweeted Monday morning after a tumultuous weekend at the U.S.–Mexico border near Tijuana and San Diego. On Sunday, Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents used teargas on Central American migrants seeking asylum in the United States—a toxic cloud that wafted far past the minority of rioters and into a peaceful protest that included young children.

For hours after that, CBP shut down the busy port of entry to all legal foot and motor traffic. The port is normally privy to about 100,000 people a day, notes The Washington Post.

screenshot from CBP video

It's also where asylum-seekers can have their claims processed. The limit for processing claims there is 100 per day, though lately CBP has fallen far short of that. Saturday and Sunday saw just 40 people per day admitted to submit asylum claims.

Meanwhile in Tijuana, thousands of asylum-seeking migrants are camped out in a large and cramped sports arena, part of a caravan that started in Honduras. In the past two weeks, say Mexican authorities, their numbers have grown to more than 8,000—almost entirely in Tijuana and Mexicali. The mayor of Tijuana has declared it a humanitarian crisis.

During yesterday's chaos, "thousands stayed behind the sports complex," notes the Post. But a small portion held a protest against the slow pace of the asylum claim process. Among the protesters, "the majority of the group approached and gathered at the fence peacefully." But as protesters approached a pedesterian crossing,

Mexican police in riot gear blocked their way, and a scuffle broke out between police and a couple of dozen protesters. After the protesters were rebuffed, the situation grew more chaotic, with some migrants running across a dry canal and others trying to cross in different places.

CNN reports that about 500 people "overwhelmed police blockades"; 39 people were arrested by Tijuana police. As some ran toward the border, CBP agents fired tear gas and rubber bullets.

Strong breeze carried US-launched teargas deeper into Mexico. Migrants ran for hundreds of yards before escaping the cloud. #migrantcaravan

— Chris Sherman (@chrisshermanAP) November 25, 2018

Here is CBP's statement: "Today, several migrants threw projectiles at the agents in San Diego. Border Patrol agents deployed tear gas to dispel the group because of the risk to agents' safety. Several agents were hit by the projectiles. The situation is evolving and a statement is forthcoming."

We will close the Border permanently if need be...

Like they did to that missionary in India?

    1. Rufus The Monocled   6 years ago

      Hello.

What's the problem? I don't see a problem. Do you see a problem? Let them in! Let them play! Let them in!

Trump has to hold the line here.

      1. damikesc   6 years ago

Indeed. I like that Trump is the bad guy, not the mob trying to infiltrate the border.

If they refuse to abide by law, keep them the fuck out.

        1. Rufus The Monocled   6 years ago

There's no question they will attempt to emotionally manipulate. Just look at the picture posted here.

But don't put the ones of the punks committing crimes.

          Yup.

"Try going and staying Japan without proper immigration or temporay visa paperwork. They will kick you the fuck out of Japan."

Try forcibly entering any international border. I promise you, the US media won't be there to cry for you and engage in a wide spread propaganda blitz. No, no one will feel an inkling of sympathy while your neck is unceremoniously crushed into the pavement.

Court Again Rules That Cable Giants Can't Weaponize the First Amendment
Charter has been using the argument that their First Amendment rights are being violated as it fights off state lawsuits for its poor service. "It recently tried to use the First Amendment card again in a legal battle with Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios Networks (ESN), which recently accused Charter of violating the Civil Rights Act of 1866 by refusing to carry TV channels run by the African-American-owned ESN," reports Techdirt. "While Charter tried to have the suit dismissed by claiming that the First Amendment prohibits such claims because an ISP enjoys 'editorial discretion,' the ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit didn't agree." From the report:

Twitter Permanently Bans Feminist For Writing That 'Men Aren't Women'
What is insane to me, though, is that while Twitter knowingly permits graphic pornography and death threats on the platform (I have reported countless violent threats, the vast majority of which have gone unaddressed), they won't allow me to state very basic facts, such as 'men aren't women.' This is hardly an abhorrent thing to say, nor should it be considered 'hateful' to ask questions about the notion that people can change sex, or ask for explanations about transgender ideology. These are now, like it or not, public debates ? debates that are impacting people's lives, as legislation and policy are being imposed based on gender identity ideology?

      1. AlmightyJB   6 years ago

One of the many great things about never using Twitter is that I never have to worry about being banned.

        1. Rich   6 years ago

OTOH, you are in effect already banned.

          1. damikesc   6 years ago

I love Reason pulling the whole "majority non-violent" nonsense/

You know what the majority of is ALSO non-violent?

      Cops.

Don't see them getting this benefit of the doubt about their transgressions.

      Nor should they receive it.

      1. Rufus The Monocled   6 years ago

It's incredible the lengths they will go.

Here's the problem and Reason doesn't seem to accept this: We don't need low-skilled workers here in North America. It puts downward pressure on the working poor.

You wanna let them in on compassionate grounds? Fine. But don't use the economic angle because it's dubious.

        1. Cy   6 years ago

Or in the least, they could stop being so disingenuous in their coverage. If our modern media were covering the Blitzkrieg they'd refer to the Nazi Panzer advance as "Ambitious Educated Immigrants."

        2. loveconstitution1789   6 years ago

Nearly all of these immigrants are not remotely qualified to receive US political asylum. They are poor not political enemies of their various home nations.

The media does know this or should know this yet continues with the heart-string propaganda blitz that is not working against most Americans.

Does that amount to an illegal monopoly by the U.S. Supreme Court?

An excellent point, Rich. The government monopolies are pretty monopolistic.

    2. Mickey Rat   6 years ago

No, on its face, it is not a monopoly. The fact that I-phone geeks don't want to consider another brand of hardware does not mean they are limited to only one provider.

Long but must read: "In 1963, the assassination of the president by a communist misfit was an embarrassment to the New Left and an unexpected boon to their hated antagonists on the anti-communist Right." Leftist activist-lawyer Mark Lane then spearheaded the narrative reversal.

Lets also not forget that Mr Lane was also counsel for the People's Temple. He picked winners.

Two days before the Ecumenical Patriarch is expected to grant the Ukrainian Orthodox Church autocephality. Russia warned of violence if that happened?

Ukraine has a large number of ROC parishes and the loss of Ukraine would knock the ROC down from largest EO church to about 4th largest (the Romanian Orthodox Church would become the largest) and be a serious blow to Russian propaganda claims to Ukraine.

Trump is right. Foreigners seeking to immigrate by FORCE should be kept out of the U.S. permanently. Whatever the desires of the "caravan" of illegals are, they need to be executed according to U.S. law, NOT according to immigrant desires. Also, has ANYONE thought even a little about where these immigrants will live, will they be able to get jobs, etc., etc. No, no one has. The libs go 100% on what their spleens tell them, which will end in disaster, which disaster libs will blame on others.

    1. Rufus The Monocled   6 years ago

      He's absolutely 100% correct.

Some of those idiots had rocks at the ready.

    2. chemjeff radical individualist   6 years ago

Also, has ANYONE thought even a little about where these immigrants will live, will they be able to get jobs, etc., etc. No, no one has.

Why should someone have to prove these things before having the opportunity to migrate here?

You and I are free right now to migrate to any state without having to prove to any authority that we have a job or housing lined up ahead of time. EVEN THOUGH it may mean that we don't get jobs and become welfare leeches on the state government.

If you say "well we're citizens so that's different", it just begs the question why citizenship should be a prerequisite for migration.

      1. John   6 years ago

Why should someone have to prove these things before having the opportunity to migrate here?

Because the people who live here like it that way and have a right to make the rules by virtue of the US being a soveriegn state. If you want to change the law to let anyone who wants to come, good luck. But that is a policy and legal debate that you have yet to win. Until you do, you can't complain about the government enforcing the law that its voters created.

          Isn't that right John?

          1. John   6 years ago

No. People have soveriegnty. And legally enacted laws are valid unless you have a really compellling moral case that they are not. And sorry, but the US government exercising the same rights that every government in the history of civilization has exercised is something you don't like but it is not immoral such that a rightfully enacted law making it so is invalid.

You can't win this argument and wouldn't know how even if you could. So you just pretend everyone who disagrees with you holds a morally illegitimate position thus relieving you of the duty to win on the merits. S

In Canada, you have to demonstrate why we should let you in.

It's not easy to gain entry here. Dalmia would lose her shit.

Of course, Trudeau that dope is doing his best to make it all 'feely' immigration when it suits him.

        Clown. Such a clown.

        1. chemjeff radical individualist   6 years ago

In Canada, you have to demonstrate why we should let you in.

Why should that be the case?

I am sure you have the legal permission to drive from Alberta to Saskatchewan without having to prove to any authority in Saskatchewan why they should let you in.

Why shouldn't it be the same for migration across international borders?

Why shouldn't it be the same for migration across international borders?

Because citizens have rights that non-citizens do not have.

Because citizens are footing the bills while non-citizens are not.

Why should migration be one of those?

Why should it not be? It's been that way, you know, for the entire existence of humanity. If you have a good reason why it should not be, outside of feelings, feel free to make your case.

Red herring. Just coming here, in and of itself, doesn't cost anyone anything.

Are they levitating and never touching a road or sidewalk? Never using a public water fountain or restroom?

          3. Rufus The Monocled   6 years ago

            Is this a serious question?

Not between citizens. It's for non-citizens. If you're looking for a Visa Canada asks why and what you're bringing to the table.

It changes with refugees which is why that term is being changed around and manipulated it seems.

Jesus, NO country OWES anyone anything. It's a privilege; not a right to come into a country. Follow their rules and laws or else....fuck off.

            1. chemjeff radical individualist   6 years ago

Yes it's a serious question. It gets at the heart of the disagreement. Why should migration be a right reserved only to citizens? "Because it's always been that way" or "Because everybody else does it" aren't satisfactory answers.

              1. damikesc   6 years ago

                No, they are fine answers.

YOU want to change stuff but don't want to be bothered to explain why it should be done outside of you thinking borders are mean or some such nonsense.

Literally no country in the history of mankind has ever allowed it and none will in the future and none do now.

                1. JoeBlow123   6 years ago

Just like communists jeff wants to act like his moral utopia is the only legitimate way of life so he preens and proons and prowns and writes sternly worded Epistles to persuade the non-believers to convert to his religion.

Here is why I do not want them here. Because I do not. I do not want any poor person in the world who wants to move to America, have babies (who then become American citizens), and put political pressure on those of us with children and families and vested interests in this country to accede to their political demands... to come here. I do not see their utility, we have enough poor undereducated people. No thanks, do not need more. Case closed. Go back to El Salvador or Ethiopia or whever they are from.

        2. Ecoli   6 years ago

The US should let all the migrants in and meet them at the southern border with luxury buses to transport them to the northern border so they can get asylum in Canada.

Not necessarily against your argument, but it is not, and has never been difficult to get into Canada . Went a bunch prior to them requiring passport, and a bunch after. Always easy peezy.

An example as to just how easy it was long ago, we went there because the drinking age was lower than it was in PA. Driving through customs they asked "any weapons or drugs"..."no"..."what about that knife I can see in the center cup holder"..."it's for opening boxes at work"..."what are you planning to do while in the country"..."we are staying for the weekend and heading to the bars"..."Ok enjoy your stay".

Nowadays when we go we have to show passports, but otherwise I haven't had any trouble, I just don't leave knives in plain sight like idiot 19 year old me. Never more than a 2-3 minute encounter to this day.

          1. Paloma   6 years ago

Pretty much. My daughter and her husband immigrated to Canada from Venezuela because it was easier and faster than to immigrate to the US.

            1. Rufus The Monocled   6 years ago

Canada is a lot less regulatory than the US it sounds but I would need specifics.

There are all kinds of ways to get in including paying. I know someone from Brazil who paid Quebec 180k to come in but she was an engineer and her husband a chef. So...of course it's easy.

But if you're someone who wants to come 'just because' they won't let you.

As for the border, well, the same in reverse. I remember when it was just a couple of questions and off you went. Now we have to produce passports (free trade my ass) but I will get a Nexus card now.

I do know some Americans though - freelance workers for example - who have a hard time coming in.

      3. Mickey Rat   6 years ago

The United States is a union of republics. In a republic, the people are sovereign. Citizenship means membership in the sovereign people. The Constitution is a treaty between those republics that permits free migration of citizens of the constituent republics. Aliens are not members of the sovereign people and subject to the immigration laws passed by the people's representatives.

These are basic principles of US civics. Leaving them unstated is not "begging the question".

        1. chemjeff radical individualist   6 years ago

Okay then. By your understanding, then, can the sovereign people ever be wrong? If so, who goes about telling the citizens that they are wrong?

"How Wildfires Are Making Some California Homes Uninsurable"
    https://www.ziviews.com/2018/11
    /how-wildfires-are-making-some.html

So what if you can't get insurance? CA will force those living where fires don't happen to subsidize your choice to live where your house is likely to burn down:
" If all else fails, they can get insurance from California's property insurer of last resort, the FAIR Plan.
    [...]
FAIR Plan is operated by the industry ? without taxpayer dollars ? and is required to charge rates that reflect risk, so it is not some kind of bargain."
Yep, no taxpayer dollars, just dollars from every other purchaser of fire insurance.

    1. Rich   6 years ago

required to charge rates that reflect risk

      How *refreshing*!

      1. Sevo   6 years ago

BTW, the article mentions that you can get insurance for just about any location, but it might become 'unaffordable', so that mandated (and subsidized) rate does NOT reflect the risk. It reflects the companies' possible losses if they can't sell insurance in CA.

        1. John Galt is back   6 years ago

The facts on the ground are that many homeowners, if not most, were severely underinsured The ones in the North (the camp fire) I have several friends near there.

    2. John   6 years ago

If you live in the woods, occasionally the woods are going to burn down and take your house with it. Next thing you know, you are going to tell me living on the beach in Florida means you will lose your house to a hurricane every once in a while. That is just racism. Straight up.

      1. sarcasmic   6 years ago

My dad lives in the Colorado Rockies. Because of wildfires in the area he had to do a bunch of work to keep his insurance. He cleared all the trees within a certain distance from the home among other things. Seems reasonable to me.

        1. John   6 years ago

Yeah but cutting down trees is violating nature and offending Gaia or something. Yeah, cutting a fire break around your house sounds pretty reasonable to me too. But, you and I like this thing called civilization and appearently the retards in California haven't figured out to do the same. I swear to God some of them would end up back living in caves if left to their own devices.

          1. Ron   6 years ago

many of us who were raised in the forest like having the trees around us but then thats a risk we accept just like people in tornado ally or Earthquake country or hurricane zones. that said i do maintain the undergrowth. look at the pictures of Paradise the Trees are still there but the undergrowth and the houses that the undergrowth came in contact with is what was destroyed.

            1. John   6 years ago

It is the undergrowth that is the problem. It takes a lot to set a big tree on fire. The only way the big trees burn is if the undergrowth gets high and creates enough fire to ignite them. Cut the undergrowth and the trees are very unlikely to burn.

It all comes down to managing the forrest. And sadly, the environmental movement is too stupid and fanatical to allow that to happen.

              1. John Galt is back   6 years ago

In very dry forests like this, the fire races to the top, then jumps across the tops of trees. The underbrush is irrelevant. So you're blowing smoke again. Just as crazy as Trump's psychotic lie about raking the forests.

          2. Paloma   6 years ago

It's California, so I wouldn't be surprised if some commune was living "off the grid" in a cave.

Something I was kinda wondering about: okay, so according to the Left the migrants in the "caravan" are seeking asylum from violent oppression. That part I understand. But if that's the case, why is the Left insisting they come to the U.S.?

According to the Left, this is the worst fucking country on the planet. In two short years the Evil Drumpf has transformed the country into a combination of Nazi Germany and The Handmaid's Tale. The government is racist top to bottom; cops hunt down and shoot minorities just for the fun of it.

According to the Left, you could hardly call this country civilized; no free healthcare, no free Harvard education. FFS this country lets people own guns! And we haven't even shut down Fox News!

Jesus Tapdancing Christ, the road signs are in English! The very language of oppression!

So why don't the migrants go someplace decent and civilized, like the Socialist Worker's Utopia that is Cuba?

People are rioting in France in large numbers over taxes and regulation and demanding actual freedom. You would think that a Libertarian magazine would find that to be a big deal and be cheering it on. And don't tell me reason doesn't cover foreign stories because they found the time a couple of weeks ago to do an entire story on a mayor in Africa saying bad things about gays.

Reason's response to France is silence and will likely be followed by some variation of "oh my God the peasents are revolting" and "but LePen". Reason loves the idea of freedom but it doesn't seem to interested in actually obtaining it in reality.

If I want to watch a Giants home game, I have to go to (whatever the field is called this year). Does this amount to an illegal monopoly by the Giants?

    1. John   6 years ago

Exactly what Aps is Apple refusing to sell? If Apple wants to make a habit of not selling Aps to IPhone users, I am quite sure Android will happily sell those aps and many others and take Apple's customers who want them. Whatever you think of monopolies and the need for the government to prevent them, this is not a monopoly.

      1. sarcasmic   6 years ago

Apple users can only install Apple approved apps from the Apple store on their devices. If you want apps that aren't Apple approved then you need to ditch your iPhone for an LG or something.

        1. John   6 years ago

Exactly. They all do the same thing. If it ever gets to the point that using an IPhone means you can't use aps that you want, then no one will be using Iphones. Since last I looked Apple planned to stay in business, I doubt that will happen. If there are some aps you can't get with Apple, well sometimes you have to make a choice. You can't buy a GMC sportscare or a Rolls Royce Pickup. That doesn't mean either of those companies have a monopoly.

          1. sarcasmic   6 years ago

They all do the same thing.

Not really. I could write an app at home and run it on an Android phone. Can't do that with Apple devices. The OS won't let you install it unless Apple approves it.

Apple has never played well with others. And they have over the years payed an enormous price for that. The are one of the few companies in history or maybe the only company that managed to lose out to a competitor despite having a much superior product. Back in the early 1990s when PCs first took off, Apple was orders of magnatude better than anything Microsoft made. It wasn't until Windows 95 that Microsoft even got in Apple's league. Yet, Microsoft ended up dominating the entire market in the early 1990s. And the reason for that was Microsoft made sure its product interfaced with every other company's products as well as possible and Apple was proprietary as hell and refused to let other company's software run on its IOS. It was short sighted, greedy and stupid. But it is a culture that still exists in Apple despite the enormous amounts of money it has cost them.

              1. sarcasmic   6 years ago

Maybe it's a winning strategy. They are swimming in money after all. Because their devices don't play well with others, that encourages people to go all Apple. TI know plenty of people who have all Apple devices. iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, etc. I could never afford it, that shit is expensive. But those who can, do.

                1. Ska   6 years ago

Apple has persuaded people that it's cool to be ignorant with respect to using technology - as long as you use Apple's technology. It's a pretty neat trick.

                2. John   6 years ago

Microsoft was swimming in more money back in the 1990s. Apple is swimming in money today because they invented the smart phone. I doubt they make much money off of their computers. I find that their smart phones do play well with others or at least do so a lot better than their computers ever did. But if that ever changes and it gets to the point that there are usful aps that you just can't get on an I-Phone, the I-Phone will go the way of the buffalo. As it is, I find that the I-phone and the OS that runs it to be significantly worse than the original models. It seems that every update to the OS makes it less functional. Frankly, the only reason I haven't ditched my I-phone is out of habit and becuase I don't use it enough for the lack of functionality to bother me enough to change. It seems to me at least that the Android is the superior product.

Sorry, but speaking as a developer, that is simply false.
I can write apps in at least 4 different programming languages, at home, which I can install on my own iDevice.
I only need Apple approval if I want to distribute the app.

                1. John   6 years ago

I only need Apple approval if I want to distribute the app.

But if you can't distribute it, you can't make money. Yeah, that doesn't matter if you are just making your own private aps, but most people don't do that. Most people can't make their own aps and those who do do so to distribute it and make money.

I just looked it up and you need to register with Apple before they will let you install your own apps onto your own phone. It costs a hundred bucks, and you have to constantly renew. What a pain in the ass.

                    1. Shirley Knott   6 years ago

That's either new or not correct.
An Apple Developer account is (was?) free.
But even that should be avoidable with React Native and Expo.
Yes, you need to pay to distribute and you need to distribute to make money.

I'm not trying to cheerlead too much over Apple, but they're not really the hermetically sealed world they're often portrayed as.
I'll say this, though ? the QC provided by the Apple process to get on the App Store gives a better user experience and less malware. I'm currently on Android for phone, iPad for tablet. The difference is profound.

You can sign sideloaded apps for seven days without the $100 yearly agreement. This was a compromise starting a few years ago.

Or you can jailbreak, which Apple actively works to disable. It is a massive pain. The angle that I am much more interested in is device ownership. They prevent this cryptographically to a rediculus extent. On my device, which I purchased. Do I own the keys? Do I own the device? I scream, for I do not know.

Bailey had one of the strangest articles reason has ever had last week. He links to some government study about how the US has warmed so much over so many years. The study lists a parade of effects like longer growing seasons, all of which are positive. There is a reason why more people live in Africa than in Alaska or Siberia. It is the same reason why there is more fauna in a square mile of the Amazon than in the entire Danali National Park, warm climates support more life. Yet, somehow the earth getting warmer is going to be the end of man.

    Women and children hardest hit.

You just know the Left is spinning this as "lack of access to women's healthcare", but given the demographics of low-cost abortion clients, every child PP doesn't abort is another future Democrat voter. In many inner-cities, PP is the ONLY health care provider for Medicaid. Doctors cannot afford to take Medicaid unless there are enough to privately insured to overbill. PP can do it because the abortions pay the overhead, thus subsidizing the Medicaid.

Low-information voters have been brainwashed to believe federal dollars subsidize abortions, because .... (laughing hysterically) ... MONEY IS FUNGIBLE! Yes it is. But NEVER do money LOSERS subsidize money- MAKERS!!!

"On Sunday, Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents used teargas on Central American migrants seeking asylum in the United States?a toxic cloud that wafted far past the minority of rioters and into a peaceful protest that included young children."

    A minority of rioters?

Here's what the Wall Street Journal is reporting:

Customs and Border Protection officials temporarily closed a busy border crossing and used tear gas to disperse hundreds of Central American migrants in the Mexican city of Tijuana who made a rush for the border fence. Women and children were among those affected by the use of tear gas, migrants said.

The border patrol said it deployed the gas after several of its agents were hit by projectiles.

    http://www.wsj.com/articles/tr.....543245603?

I hope the criminals who attacked our border patrol agents can be identified, prosecuted, serve an appropriate sentence in a federal prison for assault in the U.S., and are deported back to their countries(s) of origin.

Some 500 rioters tried to rush across the border, our border patrol used nonlethal measures to turn them back after being attacked with projectiles, but we're talking about a "minority" of rioters for some reason?

    WTF?

    1. John   6 years ago

Do we secure it, regardless of any manufactured "refugee crisis" and make any and every one go through application for asylum [for which they may well be rejected], and thus control the entry?

Or should be take pity on the poor refugees and just let them in, all the while ignoring the inevitable outcome of thousands of subsequent columns proceeding from every point of the globe that represents what has been called a hole of shit?

Trump's rumored agreement with the incoming Mexican president makes a ton of sense because it solves the fundamental problem with our asylum process--it takes years to get an asylum claim adjudicated through the courts, and so the 70% of people claiming asylum get in without even having their claim validated by the courts.

Once they get in, many never bother showing up for their court date. They just become illegal aliens unless they're caught and deported.

Trump's agreement with the incoming president would have asylum seekers coming in through our border with Mexico remain in Mexico until their asylum hearing. That would do two things:

      1) It makes it so that people don't just get in for claiming asylum without their claim being validated by the courts.

      2) It would discourage illegals and bogus asylum seekers from coming to the U.S. by way of Mexico--something neither the U.S. nor Mexico wants.

And now that the pressure is on Mexico, that might actually work/ get them to cooperate.

And if they stay in Mexico, they do not have any grounds to claim rights or legal representation here.

And no one really wants to live in Mexico any way; if this is effectively enforced it may serve to discourage persons from doing what has tended to work for them up to now.

Interesting possible outcome to this assault of the migrants. Of course there is still the old tried and often true way, of just finding a place to cross and not get caught. Will this eventually take a wall?

            The Temptation of Trolls

            1. John Galt is back   6 years ago

Trolls post meaningless bullshit like you did, to initiate aggression by promoting their holy cause, or by attacking non-followers of their cult.

Posting a factual news story is not trolling. But if it makes you "feel like a nut man ..." go for it, Dude.

              1. bigby   6 years ago

                Nice trolling.

              2. Freddy the Jerk   6 years ago

Mr. Hihn, if I ask nicely (and not say anything about you molesting your fellow nursing home patients), will you add this sock to your enemies list?

                1. John Galt is back   6 years ago

If you think that's asking Hihn nicety, then you're as psycho as all the other cyber-bullies of your ilk.
You Trumptards have already thrown over a dozen hissy fits over ... a news story.

The Monday closure of GM's plant in Oshawa, Ontario, was confirmed late Sunday by an official familiar with the decision. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk publicly ahead of the announcement.

They are closing plants in Canada you psycotic half wit. And Gm's problems have nothing to do with Trump

Too many GM factories are devoted to making slow-selling cars and the company can no longer afford to keep them all operating without making some tough decisions. But the political atmosphere might limit realistic choices for the Detroit automaker.

Industry analysts are already plotting out possible targets for GM, including its sprawling Lordstown plant in northeastern Ohio. The car produced there is also is built in Mexico. The once-bustling factory already has lost two of its three shifts and 3,000 union jobs since the beginning of last year.

I generally don't mind calling people what they want to be called.

If someone wants to call himself Charlamagne tha God, well, I guess that's OK. And if they can call themselves Charlamagne, they can call themselves Charlene.

But the idea that referring to Charlamagne that God by his birth name - Lenard Larry McKelvey according to Wikipedia - should get you banned from Twitter, says enough about Twitter's Orwellian policies that I don't want to go near them.

I mean, "deadnaming" sounds like something out of that Newspeak style manual in "1984."
