John McDonnell, the likely finance minister if the Labour Party takes control of the British government, says Labour would move quickly to nationalize key industries and might not compensate owners in some cases. McDonnell named "rail, water, energy, and mail" among the industries the party would like for the government to take over.

Democracy can have dictators too -- there's a REASON the US was set up as a constitutional republic rather than a pure democracy.
