The French government will not allow giant TV screens to be placed in open places for crowds to watch the World Cup. The French Interior Ministry has said that, because of terrorism concerns, any organized viewings must be held in "strictly controlled areas" with heavy security.

  1. So much cultural enrichment!

    1. I just got paid $6784 working off my laptop this month. And if you think that’s cool, my divorced friend has twin toddlers and made over $9k her first month. It feels so good making so much money RE when other people have to work for so much less. This is what I do?

  2. I spent Monday evening at the opening event for LGBT Pride Week in Tel Aviv. It was a musical performance in the courtyard outside a hotel. The fence to the area was low enough for anyone to toss a firebomb over it if he wanted. About 50 miles to the south of us, Gazans were doing millions of dollars worth of damage to rural area by sending firebombs over with kites and drones, and the Iron Dome project intercepted the occasional missile. Syria was about 100 miles to the north of us. I was impressed by how the performers sang without any hint of stage fright and the audience enjoyed the night. Those ladies were talented. Living as a slave with constant fear is worse than assuming some risk. After all, you only live twice.

  3. Hi!
I’m making over $6k a month working low maintenance. I continued hearing other individuals reveal to me how much cash they can make online so I chose to investigate it. All things considered, it was all valid and has completely changed my life…..

  4. The French government would like to remind everyone that it has enough white cloth to drape over any size TV screen.

    1. I’m kind of surprised that France has any white cloth left. I’m pretty sure that stuff is heavily horded.

      1. There are many cosplayers there who pretend they’re ghosts? Or klansman?

        1. Knights in white satin? Virgin brides?

        2. Ghost klansman are as bad as surf nazis, zombie Lenin and evangelical agnostics.

  5. Instead they will setup stages for mimes to perform play by play coverage.

    1. There was a story last week about a 10-year-old autistic kid in Texas who was arrested and cuffed for miming holding a rifle in school. Can’t help but wonder if he lived in France, he would have instead been awarded some kind of artistic prize.

      1. Link please

  6. Which comes from treating terrorists as mere criminals. You can only really react to crimes, you cannot actively prevent them, and you cannot defend your people from them, you can only limit attractive targets.

  7. Then the terrorists have won, in France at least.

    1. Um, are the French scared of Christian terrorists, atheist terrorists, Buddhist terrorists, Zoroastrian terrorists, or, um, some OTHER kind of terrorists? WHAT kind of terrorists are they afraid of?

  8. I’m in Amsterdam for two weeks on business. Our rental is a Renault Captur.

Fun fact: Every model is equipped with four white flags where the spare tire would normally be. Extras available upon request.

  9. Super and Easiest 0nl!nee Home open door for all. Make 2340 Dollars for each month. All you simply Need a DFu Internet Connection and a Computer To Make Some Extra money….

    1. Teh terrorists mock us with their easy money schemes. There ought to be a law.

  10. Accurate headline

  11. “They hate us for our freedoms” so let’s destroy our freedoms so they don’t hate us any longer!
Made sense to the political class. And their enablers.

  12. What terrorist would be stupid enough to attack a soccer venue? Those places are full of violently crazy mega-fans, who will riot and kill each other just because of a field ruling. What do you think will happen to a terrorists who interrupts a world cup match?

    1. One whose plans to attack a crowd watching the game at another location have been frustrated?

  13. Terrorists are beloved by governments.

    1. Yes! If there are enough of us who are terrorized by ANYTHING, then Government Almighty will GLADLY spring forward to PROTECT us all!!! Look at the long, long historical lines of things that have “terrorized” us, that Government Almighty had protected us from!

      Un-believers of all sorts

      “Satan worshipers”

      Interracial marriages

      Pot smokers

      Gay people

Personal secret keepers who resist the NSA

      Whistle blowers

      Gun owners

People who believe that their bodies belong to them, not to Government Almighty, and act according to their beliefs

      Cake bakers

  14. At least it’s soccer. It’s not as though they’re preventing people from watching an actual sport.

  15. If we’d only come to our senses and follow Nick and the Old Beaner to open borders we could achieve this utopia here.

    1. You’re already on your way to overtake them. Closing borders because you’re scared of the baddies getting in is worse than cancelling public viewing events because you’re scared of the baddies nearby.
