I think AM Links have lapped PM Links.
To be sure, Robby's links are not usually THIS late.
Hello.
Zuckerberg. This is what happens when the premise of their project was to pick up girls.
He has no deep rooted principles. Hence, he's turning over like the little bitch that he is.
His answer should have been: I'll burn it before I let bureaucrats in.
Idiot. Chooch.
Zuckerberg is just out to make money. If his users give 2 shits about their privacy, the onus is on them to protect it.
He'll respond when FB starts losing users. Hint, I don't expect that enough people care to make a difference. If you're dumb enough to have a FB account and don't want the government to know about it, I'd suggest you need to give up your FB.
I learned a long time ago that if I didn't want information made public, I should not post it on the Internet. I have a public FB page where I put vacation pictures and cat gifs and make terrible mom jokes. I have a much more private page where friends of mine who, like me, live in conservative areas can bitch about how dumb Trump voters are without offending our parents and high school friends. I never click on anything anyone posts from any source that didn't exist as a print publication in 1995. I think FB does need to work on their privacy settings, but not because of nefarious political conspiracies and more to keep nasty ex-boyfriends from stalking women who rejected them.
Zuckerberg is just out to make money.
Faceberg is out for a lot more than just making money. He actually thinks he can get elected president!
He'll respond when FB starts losing users.
He'll respond when FB starts looking like it can't compete. If FB loses 1M users a day and gains 1M well-designed bots, it's a wash. It's when advertisers won't pour money into the FB platform because it doesn't do dick to their sales that FB starts getting into trouble.
I know people who treat Facebook as their private diary. They get all upset when they discover someone in their extended circle they did not invite. "My privacy! My privacy!". Yet they keep posting deeply personal stuff. I know one guy who was fired and blackballed from local employers for conducting a rather vitriolic and profanity laced rant against his employer. Never occurred to him that Facebook might be a public forum.
Most people under 40 don't understand that Facebook is a public forum. It's not like texting your friends in a private group chat. Everything you post, share, or comment on is not only public for everyone to see, it's also permanent until the end of time.
President Donald Trump is expected to announce tariffs against China today.
FInally. It's why we elected him!
This is not like the Russian Bear fighting back.
The Chinese dragon is imaginary, so there will be no fighting back.
President Donald Trump is expected to announce tariffs against China today
Tariffs, don't like it.
Austin bomber Mark Anthony Conditt reportedly recorded a 25-minute confession on his phone before blowing himself up.
And then forgot to lock it???
What a dumb fuck. And as I understand it, the cops used google to find the guy by his searches. If you are going to go Teddy Kaczynski, don't use a phone, live in a cabin off the grid, and space out your bombings over 17 years.
And if you're going to leave a bunch of random boxes with bombs around, do it in areas where they're more likely to be stolen. At least the havoc you cause will hurt some thieves in the process, too.
"Nearly a year before Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired senior FBI official Andrew McCabe for what Sessions called a 'lack of candor,' McCabe oversaw a federal criminal investigation into whether Sessions lacked candor when testifying before Congress about contacts with Russian operatives."
It lack of candor all the way down.
"I actually am not sure we shouldn't be regulated," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told CNN
Sounds like a man who knows how to use syntax a bot would never be able to decipher.
I am actually somewhat sure Zuckerberg is a douche bag.
He was right that people wanted to connect via a website and keep in touch.
He was wrong about most of the rest of his ideas.
He was wrong about most of the rest of his ideas.
Connecting via websites to keep in touch wasn't his idea.
Don't worry, mad., Friendster is gonna come back any day now.
That is an insult to every douchebag who never actively and intentionally campaigned to make privacy an obsolete concept.
I am actually somewhat sure Zuckerberg is a douche bag bot.
FIFY
"I actually am not sure we shouldn't be regulated," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told CNN. "I actually think the question is more, what is the right regulation? People should know who is buying the ads that they see on Facebook, and you should be able to go on any page and see all the ads that people are running to different audiences."
How about you just run your goddamn company, Zuckerberg. Or just give it back to the Winklevoss twins.
Marky Mark's got good ideas for improving his product. I guess it's just an unfortunate reality that only government can implement them.
Republican Rick Saccone has officially conceded to Democrat Conor Lamb in the Pennsylvania special election.
If he held out he could have lasted the entire span to the real election.
"I actually am not sure we shouldn't be regulated," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told CNN.
More like Cuckbook. Or Facecuck.
He does like to watch.
People should know who is buying the ads that they see on Facebook, and you should be able to go on any page and see all the ads that people are running to different audiences."
I can't wait for the targeted ads for people who are interested in sourcing ads.
Republican Rick Saccone has officially conceded to Democrat Conor Lamb in the Pennsylvania special election.
He should have Sacconed up and demanded more recounts.

Well, more like #bluedrip
Hahha. The lefties think these kinds of elections mean they will grab the Senate or House and then they can impeach Trump. The Democrats won in PA18 by some 630 votes in an area loaded with Democrats.
Republicans will massacre the Democratic Party in November 2018. I cannot wait until Hillary starts campaigning for Democrats and she finds out how unpopular she really is.
I don't feel the same level of optimism. Midterms have tended to favor the out of power party, and besides for tax reform and creating a massive spending bill, congressional Republicans have done little more than nothing.
The Senate will be close, Dems have some hard seats to maintain, but I think the House will go to the Dems.
I'll vote for the entire slate of Republicans next time if they promise to keep doing little more than nothing.
Ignoring the"voter fraud" problem for the moment, is that even logistically possible? Assuming you do mail-in or absentee ballots for as many taxes as possible, it still seems likely that there just isn't enough time in the day to get to every remaining in-person voting site.
You'd need to borrow Santa's sleigh.
I meant the slate on my ballot. What do you think I am, a Democrat?
He just assumed everyone votes the way he does.
"In Conditt's confession video, 'he does not at all mention anything about terrorism, nor does he mention anything about hate,' Manley said. 'Instead it is the outcry of a very challenged young man talking about challenges in his personal life that led him to this point'."
So it's Trump's fault?
He is a fellow conservative of yours:
Suspected Austin package bomber Mark Conditt decried gay marriage, abortion and registries for sex offender in a conservative blog he is believed to have authored in college.

Let's talk about the Bernie Bro who tried to shoot the Democrats into a House majority on a baseball diamond, Dave "Bad Acne" Weigel, shall we?
Fuck the Bernie Bros, you fucking idiot. I despise progressives as much as I do conservatives.
Read some Hayek some day and you might become less stupid.
Yet, you are a socialist.
You're a Nazi.
One of your fellow Nazis just won his GOP primary in Illinois.
Neo-Nazi Arthur Jones wins Republican nomination for Illinois congressional seat
Neo-Nazi and Holocaust denier Arthur Jones won the Republican nomination for the 3rd Congressional District in Illinois.
Jones will seek to unseat Rep. Dan Lipinski, who won a narrow victory over Marie Newman in Tuesday's Democratic primary.
The state GOP has denounced Jones and says it will try to field an independent to run.
Dan Mangan | @_DanMangan
One of your fellow Nazis just won his GOP primary in Illinois.
You realize this is an 'own goal' right?
Nobody on earth is genuinely thinking, "I wonder if the GOP, especially in IL, really supports Nazis?" Every time you bring it up it only highlights the fact that the democratic domination of the region so fundamentally fucks with politics that only Nazis and similar niche zealots would oppose The Democratic Machine?. It's like saying you must be on the side of good and your opponents must be evil because the only person opposed to you is Ted Kaczynski.
If you paint your enemies as an actual satan, it justifies tactics that otherwise would be despicable. Thus, the left justifies it's jihad through utilitarianism.
How's the problem acne, Weigel? Need the government to redistribute the grease on your skin?
You are a concern troll. You know, the "as a lifetime gun owner I support a full ban" type. You don't despise progs, you just say so to pretend to do your own thinking.
Fuck off, you lying piece of shit.
I bow before the superior intellect of David "Bad Acne" Weigel. How is your super hot Canadian silicone girlfriend?
You know, nobody clicks your links because you cannot even do them correctly, so we can see where the link goes?
Gay marriage should not be forced by government but accepted by the masses of Americans.
Abortion should be legal but not funded by government.
Sex offenders registries are unconstitutional.
Wait, I have to run to Home Depot to get something.... You are retarded Tony to equate common Libertarian opinions with wanting to hurt innocent Americans.
You lefties however love to hurt innocents to keep them from saying anything that dissents from the narratives.
I shorten the URL for Reason, you dumbass. And some people here do read them.
You're just a pussy.
Citation needed. I find it hard to believe that anyone reads anything you post unless it's just for the giggles.
I just posted a "libertarian supports arming homeless people with shotguns" story this week that 5-6 people here read and quoted.
Are you another pussy conservative that bristles at criticism of the GOP?
It seems so.
Why are so called "libertarians" so pissed off at any criticism of the GOP?
Who said I was pissed off? You sure do have a lot of projected hate in you. Someone want to take one for the team and get this hateful creature a hug? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Weigel is a severely mentally ill "sad clown" who needs massive amounts of medication in order to control his manic depressive - driven behavior (often still unsuccessfully).
We should outlaw these dangerous thoughts... unless of course you just want people to die!
#Remy
Manley is out to fucking lunch on this one.
"Instead it is the outcry of a very challenged young man talking about challenges in his personal life that led him to this point."
Really, that's every terrorist and non-governmental mass killer. Fact: ideologies (including religions) may justify atrocities in the minds of both adherents and enemies, but don't cause them.
Just a technical objection: I'm not sure this is always true of terrorists. When an 11-year old is strapped into a suicide vest and sent out into a crowded street in the Middle East, I'm pretty sure whoever strapped them into the vest is driven by an ideology.
I think a person is pretty fucked up already if their thing is "this book/idea means i can kill people."
I'm guessing the "personal problem" turns out to be that the little creep scared away every female in sight.
"I actually am not sure we shouldn't be regulated," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told CNN. "I actually think the question is more, what is the right regulation?
If we let the permanent government watch our every move to make sure we're only politically useful to the permanent government, and kick money back to the correct 'progressive' causes, will you let us keep abusing people's data for fun and profit? We'll show our good faith by removing all conservatives but a handful of housebroken NeverTrump people to let you say "even the GOP doesn't like Trump".
That, and to say FB stole the election and Hillary really won.
Nice Facebook bubble you have there. It would be shame if someone popped it.
Michael Barone: Women against free speech?
...What I found most striking ? the numbers that stood out for me ? was the difference between men and women. Among men, 61 percent favored free speech. But only 35 percent of women did so. That's a result I certainly hadn't expected....
Some women look at equality as a means to get men to shut the fuck up and let them talk...and talk....and talk.
Two Baes of the Candor
5. This investigation was opened at a time before Sally Q Yates was fired. It was In an attempt to stop and failing that remove Jeff Sessions. The ramifications would have been to install one of the conspirators as acting AG: Sally Yates.
6. Sally Yates was actively involved & instrumental in Framing @GenFlynn over legit calls as part of his transition team duties as NATSEC adviser. It's important to remember the person running point on that w Yates was none other than Andrew McCabe.
McCabe is the type of really corrupt bureaucrat that makes corrupt bureaucrats look like angels.
McCabe is just lucky he lives in America and only got fired. If he had done what he did to Stalin, he would have been purged.
NY Times Hawks Tickets For Evening With Resistance Leader Sally Yates
Omeros Corp. OMER, +60.22% shares surged 63% in premarket trade Thursday on a new government spending bill that benefits its cataract surgery drug Omidria. Omidria's "pass-through" status with Medicare, which allows for a higher reimbursement rate, expired late last year, and the drug was expected to be bundled with other cataract surgery supplies, which might have forced Omeros to decrease the price "by up to 90 percent to remain competitive," said Height analyst Andrea Harris. Uncertainty around reimbursement affected Omidria's first-quarter sales, according to Omeros, and the company lobbied both legislatively and administratively to get pass-through status for longer.

Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends
...An American bank opening in China would be prohibited by US law from hiring a slew of family members of top Chinese politicians. However, a Chinese bank opening in America can hire anyone it wants. It can even invite the friends and families of American politicians to invest in can't-lose deals.
President Donald Trump's children have made front pages across the world for their dicey transactions. However, the media has barely looked into questionable deals made by those close to Barack Obama, Joe Biden, John Kerry, Mitch McConnell, and lesser-known politicians who have been in the game longer....
Obama used executive powers to benefit close friends' private investment firms: Book
..."A curious pattern began to emerge," Schweizer said in his book. "Obama and his administration would attack industries with government power, which led to substantially lower valuations for these companies. Nesbitt and Vistria, or others close to Obama, could then acquire those assets for pennies on the dollar."...
Prominent Science Fiction Author Calls for Depopulating Rural Areas
Robinson's a pretty good author, but his politics are hateful, anti-human nonsense.
Haven't read him.
Ugh, pass.
Socially maladjusted Boomer bugman wants everyone to live in urbanite bug hives.
The U.N. already did this a bunch of years ago. It's called "Agenda 21".
Meh. If we got rid of welfare as y'all say you want, most rural areas would depopulate themselves. The ones that are based on viable industries (farming, logging, outdoor recreation, etc.) Would stick around, but many of those small towns that are just barely afloat from welfare and social security would disappear.
I think that's a reasonable thing to let happen. But I would say there is a big ethical difference between removing incentives, particularly in this case of government created and distorting incentives, and literally forcing people to move.
And of course, the reason for both of these are quite different.
Joe Biden took his son Hunter on official trip to China ? ten days before communist regime's bank signed deal with private equity firm Biden jnr runs with John Kerry's son, book reveals
Does not surprise me at all. It is genius by the Chinese. Biden and Kerry might honestly not even think of this as quid pro quo, might be their kids just whispering in their ears China is great, be nice to China. So our valiant leaders keep pretending China is friendly and not some mafia organization.
It is hard to be a dick to people you have your hand in the cookie jar for. This is like a honey pot and the Chinese know we are all so damn stupid to see it for what it is.
Or I can just block all your stupid ads in the first place.
Also... I thought the "problem" was companies hoovering up your publicly visible data and hacking the election with it? But enough about the 2012 election.
"People should know who is buying the ads that they see on Facebook"
Like "The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids" or "The Clinton Foundation"?
Well, except for the, you know, Christian conservative home-schooling part. Which is going to be printed in flashing text in every single article about this POS going forward.
Reason number I-lost-count why I don't use Facederp.
President Donald Trump is expected to announce tariffs against China today.
Do you know who else announced tariffs?
Austin bomber Mark Anthony Conditt reportedly recorded a 25-minute confession on his phone before blowing himself up.
The guy was all over the place.
They're claiming that there's absolutely no evidence whatsoever of a motive, meanwhile of course naturally we peons don't get to actually hear the confession recording ourselves.
That means it's about 99% likely he's a lefty loonie Obamatard. Because if the evidence pointed in the opposite direction, it would all be presented to us with no hesitation whatsoever.
That's how the lowlife scum in the government-media complex roll.
I dunno, they're pushing the six-year-old deplorable blog posts and home-schooled Christian narrative hard. Time will tell what's in the confession; maybe they're really just holding it for evidence first.
In the meantime I'm sticking with my suspicious that he was a loser with the ladies.

Has the actual tape been released or is the info from it second hand?
Second hand.
Just to clarify a few points, when the FBI accuses an employee of lack of candor or unauthorized leaking to the media it means something a bit different than if you or I did it. When grilling their own the FBI have a much, much higher and more technical standard of what it means to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Every FBI agent has that drilled into them. Don't disseminate. Don't throw up smoke. Don't evade.
The I.G. who recommended McCabe be fired was an Obama appointee and the professional ethics guy who signed off on that was a Mueller appointee. Neither Trump nor Sessions could control their findings.
Now, when the FBI "interviewed" Hillary about some fairly serious and straightforward violations of government security laws and record keeping protocols, she was not put under oath, no electronic recordings were made, and the interviewers did not even take notes. The fix was already in, BIG TIME, Who put in that fix?
Didn't see anyone post this. YouTube has started to ban gun videos.
"I actually am not sure we shouldn't be regulated," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told CNN. "I actually think the question is more, what is the right regulation?
What a maroon. This asshole is probably gonna run for president one day.
Sounds like Zuckerberg has drunk the Kool-Aid. How long until Facebook whithers away into Myspace? Or are people just so stuck in their bubbles that they don't care?
I do know people who say they will quit over the whole analytics thing, which is a pretty big nothingburger in my book. But we know they won't. Facebook is where their reality free zone is. If they start talking to people at the water cooler they might wake up and realize that not everyone thinks like they do. Can't have that so they will be back.
""I actually am not sure we shouldn't be regulated," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told CNN. "I actually think the question is more, what is the right regulation""
The "right regulation" probably means something that hurts would-be rivals more than it hurts Facebook.
Especially since Facebook seems to be rolling over to do "voluntarily" a lot of what other platforms would be dragged protestingly into doing.
But it's all good - with competitors hobbled, Facebook will be able to entrench its position in the market.
I only use FB to receive party invites. Haven't logged in for any other reason in years. I've heard that dumping it is harder than dumping your cable TV provider?
"I actually am not sure we shouldn't be regulated," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told CNN. "I actually think the question is more, what is the right regulation? People should know who is buying the ads that they see on Facebook, and you should be able to go on any page and see all the ads that people are running to different audiences."
So, you shouldn't be able to buy an ad on Facebook without somehow demonstrating ownership of an account with an SSN or Tax-ID?
Why couldn't Zuckerberg start implementing that himself today?
Part of it might be that he's stupid about such things. Part of it might be that regulation often becomes a barrier to other competitors entering the industry. With that kind of regulation in place, Facebook might never have supplanted MySpace, and why would Facebook want to face more competition in the future?
Zuckerberg thinks maybe Facebook needs to be regulated? Color me unsurprised.
Zuckerberg wants to implement that scheme but knows that tens of millions of Americans would flee FB and refuse to give him that info.
He wants government to force people to give him that info.
