Just to clarify a few points, when the FBI accuses an employee of lack of candor or unauthorized leaking to the media it means something a bit different than if you or I did it. When grilling their own the FBI have a much, much higher and more technical standard of what it means to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Every FBI agent has that drilled into them. Don’t disseminate. Don’t throw up smoke. Don’t evade.

The I.G. who recommended McCabe be fired was an Obama appointee and the professional ethics guy who signed off on that was a Mueller appointee. Neither Trump nor Sessions could control their findings.

Now, when the FBI “interviewed” Hillary about some fairly serious and straightforward violations of government security laws and record keeping protocols, she was not put under oath, no electronic recordings were made, and the interviewers did not even take notes. Why couldn’t Zuckerberg start implementing that himself today?

Part of it might be that he’s stupid about such things. Part of it might be that regulation often becomes a barrier to other competitors entering the industry.
