The Death of Liberalism and the Life of Johnny Cash: Sirius XM Radio
Listen to Matt Welch interview authors on everything from Pittsburgh's Black renaissance to the worldwide hostility toward George Soros

Last week Shadi Hamid wrote two pieces well worth reading over at The Atlantic: "The Rise of Anti-Liberalism," and "Bari Weiss and the Left-Wing Infatuation With Taking Offense." I will be talking about both with him today during my 9-12 a.m. ET stint guest-hosting Stand UP! with Pete Dominick on SiriusXM Insight (channel 121). Other guests are scheduled to include:
* Caleb Cage, author of (among other books) I Shot a Man in Reno, who will talk about The Man in Black on what would have been his 86th birthday.
* Mark Whitaker, author of the new Smoketown: The Untold Story of the Other Great Black Renaissance.
* Joshua Keating of Slate, who will talk about his piece "Why Soros-Phobia Is a Global Phenomenon."
Please call in at any time: 1-877-974-7487.

"Nazi-collaborator George Soros"
More like black and gold renaissance. Am I right, Yinzers? Although the Pens just traded away their black player, the Stillers and Bucs still represent!
Former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke and the neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer both endorsed Yair's attack on the 87-year-old Holocaust survivor.
I guess "Holocaust survivor" is technically an accurate description of Soros...
"School shooting survivor Nikolas Cruz"
happy birthday Johnny Cash. Still beats pretty much any of the shit that passes for country music these days.
Johnny Cash some interesting covers of other songs too, especially rock songs.
He covered 'Hurt' by Nine Inch Nails.
Thanks for bringing us the hottest music news of 2003 there, Matt Pinfield.
You're welcome.
Sincerely yours, Kurt Loder
Still butt hurt over all that disrespect from commenters that you have to blame KL for it. Pretty funny!
Soros has actively tried to push the USA in a socialist direction. Not sure when he became an American but he lied to immigration officials about collaborating with Nazis during WWII. As a Hungarian who is trying to influence American elections, not a peep out of the left investigating Russia for trying to influence American elections.
Soros Fund Management gave Hillary's campaign $10,556,793 for election 2016.

I'd love to know how much Soros has quietly given to Koch Industries over the last ten years or so.
Not that Welchie Boy needs money to push the Soros agenda though. He would do it for free.
Check it out !

Whenever I read a headline like "The Death of Liberalism", it warms the cockles of my heart!
Joshua Keating of Slate, who will talk about his piece "Why Soros-Phobia Is a Global Phenomenon."
What a dull article. "Right wingers at home AND abroad don't like Soros!"
Duh.
Here's another idea for an article to appear in Slate: You know who else is paranoid about shadowy billionaires giving lots of money to causes people disagree with?
