Are You a Russian Troll?
Take this quiz and find out!

The federal indictments special counsel Robert Mueller handed down a few days ago confirmed that Russian agents did, indeed, use social media to interfere with the 2016 presidential election—and, even more than that, to sow political animosity, heighten divisions, and pit Americans against one another. Several workers at a Russian "troll farm" have now confirmed the thrust of the indictment.
As Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said when the indictments were announced, "the Russian conspirators want to promote discord in the United States and undermine public confidence in democracy. We must not allow them to succeed."
Absolutely right. But how to stop them? Lyudmilla Savchuk—a worker at the troll farm—has explained how Russian agents take pains to hide their true identity: "The most important principle of the work is to have an account like a real person. They create real characters, choosing a gender, a name, a place of living and an occupation. Therefore, it's hard to tell that the account was made for the propaganda."
That ability to blend in with online communities raises several troubling questions, the most disturbing of which might be: What if YOU are a Russian troll who sows animosity, heightens division, and pits Americans against one another—and you don't even know it?
The following quiz has been developed to help answer that very question. Let's play!
(1) When you see a post online that supports your political tribe, you
(a) treat it skeptically until its assertions can be independently confirmed;
(b) nod sagely and move on;
(c) pause to enjoy the sweet, sweet dopamine hit that comes from having your existing beliefs confirmed; or
(d) immediately share it with everybody you can think of.
(2) When you read something that makes you mad, you
(a) pause to consider the possibility that the author is right and you are wrong;
(b) forget it and move on;
(c) stop reading immediately to avoid being exposed to ideas you dislike; or
(d) leave a comment pointing out that the author is a despicable excuse for a human being who should die a slow and wretched death.
(3) Terms such as "libtard" and "rethuglican" are
(a) demeaning insults that inhibit the open exchange of ideas and prevent learning from others;
(b) kind of juvenile;
(c) pretty witty, actually;
(d) literally true.
(4) An article about a person of the opposing political tribe who has said or done something really stupid and embarrassing is
(a) nothing but partisan clickbait;
(b) not surprising;
(c) further proof that all members of the opposing tribe are stupid;
(d) going up on your social-media account in 3… 2….
(5) A politician of your own political tribe has just done something really stupid and embarrassing. You
(a) find this dismaying, and say so;
(b) explain why it's not so bad;
(c) attack the opposing tribe for being jerks and making a big fat deal out of it;
(d) point out that it's not half as bad as all the stupid, embarrassing things members of the opposing tribe have done.
(5) As a member in good standing of your political tribe, you have always believed X. The leader of your political tribe has just come out against X. You
(a) call him or her to account for abandoning your tribe's principles;
(b) try not to notice;
(c) change your mind about X;
(d) change your mind about X and attempt to excommunicate any member of your political tribe who still has the audacity to think X is even defensible.
(6) People who disagree with you deserve
(a) an honest hearing;
(b) pity;
(c) scorn;
(d) to burn in hell for all eternity.
(7) Online memes are
(a) superficial and usually inaccurate characterizations of the opposing tribe's views;
(b) occasionally sharp critiques of the tensions inherent in any belief system;
(c) hilarious;
(d) stupid if they're about your side and brilliant if they're about the other side.
SCORING:
Give yourself one point for each (a), two points for each (b), three points for each (c), and four points for each (d).
7-10 points: America. Love it or leave it.
11-15 points: Both sides were equally to blame for the Cold War.
16-20: Hey, who doesn't get goosebumps listening to the Song of the Volga Boatmen?

Spasiba for warning us -- but nyet, tovarisch, I am not a Russian troll.
It would appear that your clever ruse to masquerade as one of ???us!!! has failed in its efforts to disguise your true background, compa?ero.
Aww dammit! Looks like I've been busted.
I'm making over $7k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life.
This is what I do... http://www.onlinecareer10.com
FOUND THE RUSSIAN SPY WHO HACKED OUR ELECTIONS !!
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DO-vjXKUIAAKf-s.jpg
Uh, everybody has their price. I have been to Russia plenty and read Russian, but my speaking it fools no one.
I guess the real obstacle that rules me out is that I despise American Democrats and associated left-wingers so much that I uncon-troll-ably troll them for free. Therefore I am not a "Russian" troll, I am my own out of con-troll troll.
I despise American Democrats and associated left-wingers
You sound like a person who lives a rich full life.
You mean like cheap shotting people anonymously on the internet?
How droll.
For those of us who support Libertarianism and/or oppose all the lefty causes like: Communism, Socialism, Nazism, and modern Liberalism it is clear who the lefty trolls are.
Some trolls just want to cause trouble without contributing to the discussions.
Some trolls just want to see the World burn.
You live under a bridge and eat Vladimir Putin's table scraps.
Nyettttttttttttttttttttttttttt!
What if I think "the author is a despicable excuse for a human being who should die a slow and wretched death" not for any political reason but because they included two 5's?
Maybe I should just keep my failed ideology about facts and logic to myself after a tragedy such as this.
Nice catch
my failed ideology about facts and logic
I think you should absolutely continue to show that when you get butthurt because you misunderstood something you're willing to keep at it.
Why not, it has worked for you.
Sorry, I don't have another handle to switch to when I need to defend myself for something.
I do!
Your Gravatars are extremely similar.
Checks out. Definitely Red Tony's alt-account.
"...confirmed that Russian agents did, indeed, use social media to interfere with the 2016 presidential election..."
"Interfere"? Please explain.
"?and, even more than that, to sow political animosity, heighten divisions, and pit Americans against one another."
And here I thought that was Tony's job.
I tried to explain to one of my progressive friends how his hang up on Russians in the election and/or Trump's alleged conspiracy to won the election with their help, is actually doing the Russians job for them. All he could respond was that he was just being patient and more was to come. I asked for his proof. He stated his proof was the indictment and the fact that more charges could be coming. He accused anyone who wasn't convinced that we need to do something about Russian interference (though what he wants done he never specified) or doesn't agree it was that big of a deal (even though he admits everyone has done this for decades, even if trolling on the internet is fairly new) are Russian puppets and unpatrio. When I countered that their aim was create chaos and division, and the lefts focus on this aided them, he again accused me of being an unwitting Russian accomplice and unpatriotic (however, I am a veteran and he is not, not saying you have to be a veteran to be patriotic, just pointing out the irony of his statement).
Oh and to claim that Hillary was somehow qualified and qualified. I asked how, no answer just more assertion that she was more qualified. I asked what qualifications you need for public office and why hers we're more than a lifelong businessman's (fyi I didn't vote for either, and considered them equally despicable). Still no answer other than she was more qualified.
She was so qualified I had to say it twice in one sentence.
President Obama said she's "the most qualified person ever to run for President." It must be true! I guess it's all downhill, from here on out, for Democratic presidential contenders.
How can anyone EVER be more qualified than was Hillary Clinton? Oh! The Humanity.
Which would indicate that when he ran against her in 2008, he was less qualified then her
Exactly! And ... we're in a tizzy trying to find whomever will be the next "most qualified ever" Democrat. It's a Herculean task, but I know the Democrats will find that person.
Fauxcahontas, perhaps? She's a Native American woman, but not "the most qualified ever"? Maybe they can amend the statement to say, "the most qualified Native American to ever seek the Presidency."
"Paddles Canoe and Qualified Too!" OMG! What a campaign slogan that will make.
I thought it was Kamela Harris?
"...All he could respond was that he was just being patient and more was to come...."
Tony (here) has been flogging the same dead horse for more than a YEAR, FFS! And there has yet to be one specific crime stated as the subject of the fishing expedition. Yeah, just wait; they'll find that unpaid parking ticket and charge someone with 'lying to a federal agent' over it, and CNN will light up the neon headlines!
Yes, I get it: The hag lost. You're pissed. You think it's something other than the crap she was lugging about because YOU ignored it, and therefore (since you are the font of all right-thinking) everyone else should also!
(Not *you*, s-76).
I don't know what will happen in the mid terms or in 2020, but for all the 'we hate Trump' supposed sentiment, all I can do is point to the 'certainty' that the hag was going to be elected and wonder if the same delusion will repeat.
I think the left and the media (which in many cases) is in danger of overplaying their hand. We are already seeing it on the tax reform front.
And I think they ever increasing desperation on the Russian fiasco also is because they feel they may have overplayed it and now fear major blowback.
The federal indictments special counsel Robert Mueller handed down a few days ago confirmed that Russian agents did, indeed, use social media to interfere with the 2016 presidential election?and, even more than that, to sow political animosity, heighten divisions, and pit Americans against one another.
Mmmno.
The New York Times did a report on the IRA (Internet Research Agency) over three years ago. What the IRA amounts to is a group of people with limited grasp of the English language to build 'followings' on the internet, then those lists of followers are sold further advertisements.
It always baffled me why people would engage the Russian trolls in conversation. I'd say, "They're a troll, why are you talking to them?" But they just ignored me. I think people talk to trolls because they are lonely. Which says a lot about this election.
How'd you know they were Russian? For example I love to troll proggies, but I'm Canadian.
Best Russian trolls are the Aussies TBQH.
Are we gonna get a quiz to find out who is the Chinese and North Korean trolls?
What about Rumpelstiltskin, the Prussian troll?
But, "Oh, could he knit!"
As soon as Soros found he could spin straw into gold, he hired him so he can pocket another billion when the market bursts.
As Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said when the indictments were announced, "the Russian conspirators want to promote discord in the United States and undermine public confidence in democracy. We must not allow them to succeed."
One of the more laughable aspects of all this flapdoodle is that idea that everything in American politics was unicorns and rainbows until a dozen Facebook trolls came along and hacked democracy.
I cannot believe Mueller is pursuing this with a straight face.
I am all for it if the Mueller office produces a scathing, comprehensive report on everyone who is undermining public confidence in American democracy at least as much as the Russian operatives.
Mueller has an office now? I thought he had a defined job and his position was terminated after he exhausted all avenues of reasonable investigation?
"I am all for it if the Mueller office produces a scathing, comprehensive report on everyone who is undermining public confidence in American democracy at least as much as the Russian operatives."
That would of naturally begin like charity: start at home.
You could argue that this fantasy that (1) US elections are in real danger of foreign intelligence services rigging them and (2) the current lefty narrative that the Russians control Trump is really just a ploy to get FB and other social media under the thumb of government to control the propaganda like the regular media already does.
There is a real danger of government bureaucrats in the USA attempting rigging US elections.
Bingo
Don't you understand that American democracy is so fragile and its house-of-cards structure is so unstable that the fictional characters created by a few dozen Russian trolls and a few million dollars of Facebook ads can destroy it?
It's Pearl Harbor in the words of Democrat representatives and their spokespeople in the mainstream media. Pearl Harbor justified Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Dresden under a Democrat administration. So, yeah, libtard is a perfectly accurate and literal description, and anybody who thinks that way deserves to burn in hell for all eternity.
And, yes, the Song of the Volga Boatmen is great.
They didn't really plan on Trump winning. They probably didn't even want him to considering what he might do to the planet and all. They wanted Americans to start distrusting the results of elections. And that's exactly what would have happened times a million if Hillary would have won, only coming from Glenn Beck and you retards.
"You'd do what we're doing, but you would be assholes for it!"
Tony fails to mention that we'd not be reading about "Russian interference in the election" had Hillary won. The press would simply be telling us how wise and noble are the American voters.
And this needs to be repeated, so far the only people to have knowingly worked with foreign agencies have been the Clinton Campaign (Steele Dossier) and the DNC, who had a representative meet with a Ukrainian government official (on State Department property inthe Ukraine).
... and John McCain. (but he has a brain tumor)
He is a brain tumor.
So you agree that continuing this Russian nonsense is counterproductive for the country and that it is having the exact impact the Russians want? And that the left is now their unwitting accomplices?
Well we have to know the truth. I'm not the one defending a Fake News approach to the whole thing.
Russia of course probably backfired, as America is quite capable of being split about what counts as basic facts. Obama was an illegitimate president to many, including the current president, his full 8 years, and no Russians needed to push that along.
Fake news approach? Pointing out that zero evidence of any Americans having willingly having assisted the Russians (according to the indictment) at this time, or that according to intelligence agencies and the DoJ (as well as Facebook and Google and YouTube officials) the impact of the Russian campaign was minimal to non-existent, that their main purpose according to the DoJ was creating chaos (again according to the indictment) and that is exactly what they achieved is "Fake News"?
Or are you just admitting that the only evidence you have of any "collusion", so far is fake news?
Yes the Russians ran a disinformation campaign, but it appears to have been broadly targetted. And yes, they spent some money. But it didn't have much, if any impact, according to the experts who have studied it. So what other truth do you have?Because so far you have not produced any evidence of malfeasance on the part of the Trump campaign.
" and no Russians needed to push that along."
Or, did they?
Hmmmmmmmmm?
I keep trying to tell all you muggles that Trump is a dark wizard, worse than you know who.
Harry Potter and the Russian Trolls
You see, Voldemort is Assad and Harry Potter is a heroic Predator drone.
$100,000 in animated gif ads, most of which were purchased after the election is powerful stuff indeed.
""And that's exactly what would have happened times a million if Hillary would have won''
Do you have any examples where a republican distrusting the election results in a meaningful way?
It seems to be a dem thing. Ask Al Gore.
Don't you remember all those tea party riots?
I vaguely remember some tea party protests. But I don't recall them saying the results of the elections were incorrect.
There is a difference between someone not liking/protesting who won because you don't like what they stand for, and protesting because you think the result was falsified in some way.
It was sarcasm.
Ahh.
Yeah you've got to be kidding here. They still don't think Obama was legit. They still think he was born in Kenya and installed by illegal alien voters.
Way to generalize... Cherry pick a few fringe elements and delegitimaze anyone who disagree with you, using these few examples as justification.
I'm far more concerned that Obama is a Keynesian. These rogue Keynesian Presidents do significant damage to the United States! When will we learn our lesson, and prevent Keynesians from becoming President?!?
So when will the Justice Department issue indictments of Queen Elizabeth and her agent Christopher Steele for interfering in US elections?
Wait, I'm confused, how does Reason respond "absolutely right" to stopping people from 'undermining public confidence in democracy'? That's basically the mission statement of Reason Magazine.
And anyhow, the first amendment doesn't guarantee free speech *unless* you're a foreigner with opinions on American politics...
Yep, the only actual crime I've seen alleged is identity theft.
It's a federal crime for foreigners to spend money to try to influence U.S. elections. I didn't know it either until Mueller came along. Why that's worse than a foreigner trying to influence U.S. elections without spending money, which happens all the time, is a mystery.
And worse than foreign governments who help sponsor organizations which then try and influence elections. La Raza and their funding from the Mexican Government for example.
So you're saying Carlos Slim needs to go to jail?
Didn't Bill Clinton's campaign take money from the Chinese government? And didn't Obama's campaign also take money from foreign donations? Yes, they returned it when it was pointed out and claimed it was accidental? So far the FBI has stated that any connections to American Citizens was also unwitting on the behalf of American citizens, so how is that different?
The gist of this article, as I see it: We don't need no stink'n Russky trolls, we manage that quite well on our own, thank you.
And of course, were it not for this, HRC would have won. That's "What Happened."
Right, the trolls didn't do squat. Our media is pretty adept at convincing people to adopt a viewpoint and ferociously resist any contradictions.
"Right, the trolls didn't do squat."
For a year and a half, we've been treated to the infantile whines of the left, still in denial that the miserable scumbag proposed by them as POTUS was so bad that she lost to TRUMP!
They were certain the great unwashed would listen to them and ignore that 10-mile baggage train she was dragging behind her.
They are not about to admit that the g-u would actually tell them to stuff it and vote accordingly.
I'm tired of it.
Actually the fact that they won't let it go shows the trolls did have an impact. Their aim was to cause chaos and division. The left's fixation shows it was at least partially successful. However, when you point this out to them, they just insist you are covering for the Russians. Or don't want the truth. Mueller is playing 4-D chess, is a republican and more charges are coming, just wait for it. It is guaranteed. What their evidence for this is, doesn't appear clear. But they insist Trump is in trouble. For something. Not sure what, but it's coming.
And the fact that Trump drnoes the charges is evidence he is guilty (but of he didn't deny them it would be evidence he was also guilty). Guilty of what also doesn't matter.
Denies the charges.
""But they insist Trump is in trouble""
Yep. Some think that just because of his nexus to people in trouble make him guilty of something. But they won't apply that same thought to the Clintons.
I am not a Russian Troll. I am Strelok. Go Home STALKER.
Needs more boldface to approximate Hihn. Good effort though.
Not a reference to Hihn this time, a reference to a computer game. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
I'm still having trouble believing that federal prosecutors are arresting people for trolling message boards. Big government is really petty.
But Trump won, don't you know. The system is broke, because everyone knows Hillary was more experienced and qualified (for what, I am not certain). And she won the popular vote, but neo-confederates who want Trump to reinstate slavery stole it using some unheard of, obscure rule, to steal the elections. And the Russians helped somehow. Because, I saw a meme that was poorly executed but made me change my vote through mind control.
Actually, Trump is an evil wizard worse than you know who. And the memes were actually a befuddlement charm cast by evil Russian Troll-Wizards working for him. It is all their, Trump is a parseltongue, and a Slytherin. His combover is a horocrux.
And his plan is to take over and enslave all the muggles.
And mudbloods. Where is the boy who lived to save us?
When you think about it, the fact that Trump won really is proof that the system is broken.
Not the system of the US Constitution and our 'democratic' principles that politicians/media like to appeal to, but the system that has really been at work.
36/40 years a Bush or Clinton had direct access and a place in executive power. Those 4 years they didn't, it was Obama (and it seems like he's become part of the 'family').
Hillary was supposed to be Queen (and I'm sure Michelle will be pushed at some point) - but she lost. When trying to institute European style feudalism, a loss by the royals absolutely signifies a broken system.
Trump beat the last 2 Federal dynasties in one election. A 3rd, if you count the Obamas and their bureaucratic efforts to get Hillary in.
How can royalty be toppled but by deceitful, malicious foreigners?
Touche. But you didn't address the fact that Trump is a dark wizard. And we are all in trouble.
...and paranoid.
And illegal.
"The federal indictments special counsel Robert Mueller handed down a few days ago"
According to the link, the indictments were handed down by the Grand Jury for the District of Columbia.
I am of course familiar with the "ham sandwich" quote and the assumption that the grand jury is a mere rubber stamp, but sometime these grand jurors will wake up and do their own investigations.
We're all Russian trolls now. //timemag
And we're also all Tulpa.
If the Russians were able to get the kind of return on investment for $150K, when the favored candidate spent about $1.5 billion and didn't even bother campaigning in the upper Midwest, maybe they should be the ones running our government.
I asked my progressive friend this. He didn't have an answer other than "it was unfair". I pointed out Hillary also spent money on a disinformation campaign. He stated that was okay because it was an American company. I pointed out that illegal aliens and the Mexican government also campaigned for Hillary, he started stamping his feet and demanding citations. I also pointed out the US had interferred the exact same way I both the French and Israeli elections. He again stamped his feet and demanded citations. And then stated it wasn't the same thing. Because feelz I guess.
Do you understand that Russia hacked the DNC and Clinton's campaign manager's emails and released it all to maximum effect? You left that part out. I wasn't sure if you understood it happened. That has never happened before.
Did they?
I mean, sure, all 17(!) of our intelligence agencies have never lied and said they did, so it must be true.
It's weird that they haven't released more of the forensic information they found on the server though...
What's that? No government agencies have ever actually seen or examined the server? Who's CrowdStrike? A DNC contractor? Yea, I guess that's credible.
Wait - doesn't the CIA have the ability to frame foreign agents for the CIA's own hacks?
Wait - doesn't the evidence, collected and disseminated by CrowdStrike, actually indicate a leak rather than a hack?
Wait - didn't a DNC staffer get murdered in a robbery, while still in possession of all his valuables, right before Wikileaks released the emails and shortly after campaign chair Podesta had an email exchange about making an example of someone.
Fn Russians are so clever to pull off a hack and arrange for all this counter-evidence
MAXIMUM EFFECT!!!
Don't you get it!?!?!?
Is that like TOP MEN?
What's interesting is the Clinton camp wiped the server that should have been evidence. I believe that's called obstruction of justice.
How is that different than reporters printing stolen top secret memos fro. The Pentagon?
Or the WP sitting on verified allegations of sexual abuse of minors by a republican senatorial candidate until after the primary, when the stayed has a sore loser law, and then sitting on it an additional six months until they released it when it would have maximum impact?
And since no one actually examined the DNC computers in question, other than DNC employees and contractors, it isn't veriifed it was the Russians. Additionally, wilileaks released the hacked emails but denies the Russians provided it to them. So again, it hasn't been definitively proven.
""Do you understand that Russia hacked the DNC and Clinton's campaign manager's emails "'
We really don't know if the Russian's did hack the DNC computer since no Federal agency ever inspected the server in question. The Feds simply took Hillary's Tech support on their word.
Do you understand that Russia hacked the DNC and Clinton's campaign manager's emails and released it all to maximum effect?
This is one of the saddest excuses ever. WikiLeaks released the DNC emails and it rightly embarrassed the party because they couldn't leverage the incestuous relationship with their Squealer-like media lapdogs to make it disappear. Then Donna Brazile comes out and admits that Hillary turned the party into Hillary, Inc. and treated it like a money-laundering operation for the campaign, with say over staffing decisions before the primary was even decided. Funny how you fuckheads weren't all that concerned about such things when WL was embarrassing Republicans.
You're a prime example of why proglydytes should be treated like cancer cells rather than human beings.
A) It is indeed OK for a political campaign to spend money on campaigning
B) She has no control over whether the single biggest target of Trump's racist populism endorsed her
C) We've done bad things, so it's OK when bad things are done to us? I'd love to see how far this logic extends.
You are allowed to like Trump (for god knows what possible reason) and still be vigilant about Russians trying to interfere (and succeeding) in our country's election system.
The indisputable fact is that even if Hillary had won absolutely legitimately, you'd latch onto whatever conspiracy theory horseshit Trump would have blamed for his loss, and your outrage would know no bounds.
I'd call you a hypocrite and enabler of America's decline, but that's just what Russia wants.
Actually, I didn't vote for either and considered both equally despicable. And what the Russians want is chaos and division. Which they accomplished. pointing out the whole stupidity of this controversy is the exact opposite of what they want. But you already know that.
Letting criminals and traitors get away with it is no response either.
But so far, those indicted will never be held accountable for it. They live in Russia and Russia will never deport them. So, they will go unpunished. Manafort, Page, etc have not been charged with crimes related to the campaign. Not even Flynn, his crime occurred after the election and is a mere procedural charge. And now it appears the judge may be considering throwing it out for prosecutorial misconduct. So what punishment do you propose we inflict on the Russians? Nuke Moscow? Slap more meaningless sanctions? Ratchet up the tension with a nuclear armed nation that has more nuclear missiles then we do and control the energy production that most of our European allies rely on?
And who have been shown to be traitors? And how is having pro-Russian sentiment being traitorous? Maybe poor judgement, but how does it betray your country?
We are at war with Terrorism. Obama sent a country listed as a state sponsor of terrorism by the US government a pallet full of cash.
But that's not close to being treason in the liberal world.
He also sent arms to ISIS. Or ISIL, or whatever he wanted to call it.
And if 1) it's okay for Americans to spread false information, why is it worse for Russians?
2) if it is okay for the Mexican government to campaign for a candidate they feel better represents themand for Mexican citizens (and other illegal aliens) why is it worse for Russians to do that (if that is what you believe they did, campaign for Trump because they felt Hillary was worse for them)?
3) if the USA meets out punishment to the Russians for doing the same thing as we did,, how are we not hypocrites?
"The indisputable fact is that even if Hillary had won absolutely legitimately, you'd latch onto whatever conspiracy theory horseshit Trump would have blamed for his loss, and your outrage would know no bounds"
You slimy sack of shit, that is assuming we would act in the infantile manner you are. In fact, "assuming" is too kind; it's flat out projection.
As legitimately despised as that lying piece of shit Obo was, no one here ever claimed his election was a result of some conspiracy.
Fuck off, you miserable excuse for humanity.
I'm assuming the absolute positive counterfactual reality. Trump was already drumming up conspiracy theories when he thought he was gonna lose. He DECLINED to say he'd accept the results of the election. Banana republic shit. And you'd shit your panties if HIllary did even 1/1000th of it.
Hillary has done exactly that. She has refused to accept the election results. She even refused to concede at first. She has done ten times worse at this point. She continues to go around the country and whine to anyone who will listen how the election was stolen from her. She even wrote a book on it.
Saying it is wrong if you are a republican. Doing it is ok if you are a democrat.
Tony, banana republic shit would not be talk, it would be action. Trump talked, but Hillary actually did it.
As did Al Gore. And Christine Gregoire. And Al Franken.
And Mark Begich.
They all sued because they didn't like the results of the elections. Gregoire demanded multiple recounts until she won, then she sued to disallow another recount. Franken did the same thing.
Their elections, not the elections.
It's only a fair process if the Republican wins!
Way to contribute to the discussion.
And where did you get that from? Since no one said or indicated that. Maybe it's the voices in your head.
Tony|2.26.18 @ 4:31PM|#

Push them goal posts, you slimy sack of shit! If you didn't have a dishonest argument to make, you'd have none at all.
I hope your goddam DOG finds you as pathetic as honest people do.
Fuck off.
I'd call you a hypocrite and enabler of America's decline, but that's just what Russia wants.
You shitheads always have an excuse when you lose. Maybe if you didn't treat your political ideology like holy writ, you'd be able to take it better when you didn't get your way.
Real life isn't like your favorite teevee shows, princess.
Speaking of hypocrites:
A) It is indeed OK for a political campaign to spend money on campaigning
That's an interesting point about the Mexicans. Here is a short clip at the Atlantic about undocumented immigrants attempting to influence the election by registering people to vote: https://tinyurl.com/yaax6nx6
If there were illegal Russians running around doing the same thing, liberal media would be up in arms. Yet if they are Mexican they are celebrated.
Maybe it's all just terminology. Instead of "influence," the Russian's should just say they were "trying to make a difference."
I got 13.5 (I gave myself 1.5 for questions 5 because I was between a and b on both of them, and 2.5 on the final question because I don't care about memes).
I know for a fact that I am a Russian bot, Twitter said I was when they purged my account.
Did you ever post a disparate viewpoint from that held by todays bien pensants? If so that's proof positive your a Russian troll and must be silenced. Actual fifty-centers like Tony are A-Okay though. they think correctly.
Does Gillespie still know you post here?
Are you a Russian Troll if you went to a anti-Trump rally set-up by the Russians?
Ask Michael Moore.
I saw him at a benefit for PR I played a couple of weeks ago.
I had my chance.
And now we'll never know.
Just one objection: if a member of my tribe (say, Bill Kristol) hates Donald Trump, I'm under no obligation to "change my mind" and hate him too. Kristol might be right or wrong. In fact, he's quite right about Trump's faults and limitations, but Trump deserves support when he does something right.
I admitted to hating Democrats who do awful things like the Uranium One crony collusion racket, other pay for play schemes at the State Dept., deliberately using unsecure private server in order to hide shady deals, destroying subpoenaed emails for same reason, and unmasking 300 Americans for the crime of being opposed to one party Democrat rule in EPIC abuse of FISA court.
Yes, I plead guilty to hating all that. Still, I sleep easy at night. How do Robert Mueller and his legal goon Andrew Weismann?
All of that is long-debunked rightwing conspiracy trash. What is so fucking difficult with you people about separating fact from fiction? It's fucking mind blowing.
Guess it has something to do with the belief implanted in your brains that any source of information that isn't a 90s-style website with poorly spelled rants is in on the conspiracy.
What is so fucking difficult with you people about separating fact from fiction? It's fucking mind blowing.
"THE RUSSIANS HACKED THE ELECTION!!!!" being among the most notorious.
Are you mocking a shorthand way of referring to the thing the special prosecutor is investigating, or do you think the special prosecutor is part of a giant conspiracy too?
"Are you mocking a shorthand way of referring to the thing the special prosecutor is investigating,"
Uh, yes. An investigation into some dweebs doing amateur gifs deserves to be mocked.
Tell us again, Tony, how Trump is guilty of "treason"; it's always enjoyable to laugh at such lefty imbeciles.
He's probably not guilty of treason, but he's probably guilty of enough to merit impeachment 100 times over.
When did you become such a buttboy for presidents anyway? You set your hair on fire over an Obama hangnail.

"He's probably not guilty of treason, but he's probably guilty of enough to merit impeachment 100 times over."
Shitbag, you still have yet to even learn what the term means and your whining about 'impeachment' is equally absent a shred of legal justification.
As a lefty shitbag whining about "TRUMPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!@", you do wonderfully. No one who's read your comments expects anything else; whiny lefty loser.
Fuck off.
"When did you become such a buttboy for presidents anyway? You set your hair on fire over an Obama hangnail."
Never have shitbag. Just turns out Trump is far better than I'd hoped.
Obama was every bit as bad as I'd dreaded; it's hard to make Bush II look good, but he managed.
Well then you're either a moron or you live in a padded room that only has access to FOX News, at which point the distinction becomes an interesting academic question.

"Well then you're either a moron or you live in a padded room that only has access to FOX News, at which point the distinction becomes an interesting academic question."
So your best answer is "you're a big poopyhead!!!!!!!!!!!"
BTW, I'm pretty sure I've never watched Fox News unless it happened to be on in the dentist's waiting office; did you have anything other to offer, you pathetic excuse for humanity?
Oh, and fuck off.
BTW:
"European foreign ministers back Hillary Clinton's presidential bid "
[...]
"The foreign ministers of Germany and France appear to have come close to breaking with diplomatic convention by publicly backing Hillary Clinton's bid for the US presidency.
Laurent Fabius of France and Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany offered unusual praise for Clinton, who on Sunday revealed she was joining the race to replace Barack Obama at the helm of US government.
[...]
Fabius described Clinton as "an exceptional woman for a job that requires exceptional qualities", a comment Reuters called a "rare show of support from a French official to a candidate for a crucial foreign election".
[...]
It came after Steinmeier on Sunday wished Clinton success in an op-ed in Bild, Germany's top-selling daily paper. "Hillary Clinton ... has profiled herself not only as a reliable partner for Europe and as friend of Germany, but she has also proven she has sure instincts in world crises ? from Afghanistan to the Middle East," he wrote."

Are these people not attempting to influence an election? Are they not paid by foreign governments?

"Clinton Claims She Will Defeat Trump With Support Of Foreign Leaders"
[...]
"Last night, the 2016 Democratic Party presidential candidates participated in a town hall event held in Ohio and hosted by CNN. One of the subjects featured prominently was what either candidate would do to counter Donald Trump in a general election campaign.
[...]
"[O]ne argument that I am uniquely qualified to bring, because of my service as Secretary of State is what his presidency would mean to our country and our standing in the world. I am already receiving messages from leaders ? I'm having foreign leaders ask if they can endorse me to stop Donald Trump."
CNN anchor Jake Tapper followed up to that claim and asked who Clinton was referring to. Clinton said the prime minister of Italy had been one and had also made a public announcement."

Not a mention that those employed (that's MONEY, folks) by foreign governments should avoid influencing a US election, and the hag, in fact brags about then doing so.
And yet more:
Here's What World Leaders Say About Donald Trump"
[there are entirely too many quotes to pull a few; read it yourself]
http://fortune.com/2016/02/24/
donald-trump-nevada-critics/
And of course, none of those "world leaders' accept money from the states they (mostly) oppress and none had any intent to influence a US election.
Nope and nope: That's the reason none are under investigation!

skwirellze...
There is a really simple way to find Russian Trolls. It is my favorite tactic to use, start with a simple game. I will insult our current and last president (not to pick political sides) and you insult Putin. The excuses those trolls make are hilarious.
First they will try to run away from the challenge, then when pressed they will try to get you into a consensus of "all governments suck" or the like. But no matter how much you press them, none would dare insult Putin.
"want to promote discord in the United States and undermine public confidence in democracy"
So liberals and progressives are russian trolls? Can it be Tony is a russian troll?
Based on the logic of gun control, it is time for common sense restrictions on the first amendment.
Say a background check ($200.00) and fingerprints at the local sheriff's office to assure social media accounts are registered in the person's true name? And a mandatory training class ($200.00) on the true meaning of the first amendment (only cited, named sources, no memes). Limit social media posts to one political statement per day, that limit to apply across all sites. Anyone wanting multiple accounts (for multiple social media, NOT multiple names!) will need an additional 'assault poster' license, with a separate fee ($500.00) that requires annual renewal. As part of the assault poster license, they must allow police to search all of their electronic devices at any time for any reason.
(I know it's tongue-in-cheek, but I'd like to play along. ; ) ) How are you scoring that? It doesn't say.
Oops. It was bouncing around, so didn't see the very bottom. : O
OK, so both sides of the cold war were to blame. (any discussion on this that does not include the world central banking scam and cabal is moot 🙂
For most of those questions (not the sharing parts, but that's because I don't like social media in general, and I like to keep to myself) the answer is "all of the above, depending on my mood and state of mind".
But then, the one thing I've noticed about being a "troll" is that sometimes it's sufficient to merely express my mind, and provide facts and reasoning to explain why I reached a conclusion that's different from the person calling me a troll.
Which is why I dislike the term, no matter how insincere the person making comments seems to me...
However, we do see the ridiculousness of you
Jesus Christ, you need a Metamucil enema you batty old fart. You have been absolutely incorrigible lately.
+1
Your "Metamucil enema" line made me literally laugh out loud. Thank you so much, Dariush.
Fuck off, idiot.
"(snort) He won the Electoral College by fewer than 29,000 votes. That's all they had to switch. How good are your math skills?"
Better than yours, you pathetic piece of shit.
Quit embarrassing yourself and fuck off.
So you're a fan of big government. Good to know.
So far the only American to be charged was charged with fraud for creating a fake internet identity. Convicting him won't set a danngerous precedence, never!
"It;s been a federal crime since the 1950s, to spend foreign money to influence an election.
And their monthly budget was $1.25 million per month."
Well, it's certainly a good thing that other nations don't have laws like that, or the US would be in trouble!
BTW, prove the election was "influenced".
I've mentioned before, you idiot, of being in China and having people comment on the Obama/McCain election, and some of those comments (favoring Obo) made it on to the internet:
Foreign money was spent to express an opinion of a US POTUS election.
Why not indictments, asshole?
And the 1st amendment has been since the 70s.... The 1770s. Whether you want to call $$$ speech or association, I daresay: "checkmate".
Fuck off, asshole.
That was fucking stupid.
What Dumbfuck Hihnsano's parents said after he was born.
Dumbfuck Hihnsano is SUPER MAD that he's not getting that gun ban!
Dumbfuck Hihnsano lists his personal shortcomings, with helpful definitions.
Dumbfuck Hihnsano hates this part of Scalia's ruling:
3. The handgun ban and trigger lock requirements (as applies to self-defense) violate the Second Amendment.
What's a fundamental right, and why isn't the right to keep and bear arms among fundamental rights, while free speech is?
WHY does it? YOU hate the reason!
BECAUSE handguns were in common use during the 1800s, taken by citizens to militia duty ...
Dumbfuck Hihnsano forgets he said hunting rifles.
"Dumbfuck Himndsano says we had an assault weapons ban! (chortle)
Dumbfuck Hihnsano makes up a quote because Dumbfuck Hihnsano is a dumbfuck.
At this point, I am convinced that the people who believe that Trump colluded with Russia, than Russians influenced the election, and that Mueller is going to hand down the indictments that will get Trump impeached any day now, are the Conspiracy Theorists of the day, on the same level (perhaps even worse) as the Birthers of the Obama years.
It is if it's done by illegal aliens attempting to influence an election....that is, if Russian influence is really a thing.
As for myself: if you don't have any problem with Russians trying to influence the election, then I have no problem with illegals trying to get out the vote. It's the hypocrisy, more than anything, that irks me!
Nah, the problem is this: Americans are free to, and even encouraged to, insult their own Presidents. It's practically a National Pasttime. Indeed, it's often done when someone is defending something that a President they like has done.
Russians know that journalists have disappeared for insulting that puny thin-skinned tin-pot dictator Napoleon wannabe former-KGB monster who now "leads" Russia.
