Help Wanted: New Chief of Staff
Hello.
How are you today?
Don't give him the satisfaction.
Tinder announced it would eventually allow women to block men from messaging them first on the hook-up app.
THAT GIVES WOMEN ALL THE POWER
THAT GIVES WOMEN ALL THE POWER
I can only assume that an app that blocks women from messaging men for three days after the first hookup is hot on its heels.
Maybe something that reminds them to call me back 🙁
Next week:
Tinder hookups down 90%!
I'm an Adonis with wit that would drop Mark Twain's panties, and I only got messaged maybe 10 times in months. A not unattractive girl friend got 20 per day.
Guess who has their hand out to the taxpayers once again? That's right, our old friends at Fannie Mae!
Tell Barney Frank's gang of deadbeat bums at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to go fuck themselves, and then let them both disappear forever.
Jacob Zuma appears to be on his way out as president of South Africa.
I didn't think these guys ever resign.
His restaurant is taking off.
Rumor has it that Zuma will be replaced by Bartles and Jaymes.
All he wants to do now...
OT: Oldie, but goodie.
Sort of relevant to the recent autism thread.
At an international donors conference in Kuwait, Iraq said it needed nearly $90 billion for reconstruction after the war on ISIS.
And they're very hopeful about this one donor, a Nigerian prince.
three people were injured and there were three arrests.
2 of those were arrested for a completely separate internal investigation though.
Police responded to a shooting at a high school in Florida.
Unpossible. Schools are gun-free zones. They have signs and everything.
An SUV crashed into the gates at the headquarters of the National Security Agency...
If they can't predict attacks on their own building, how can trust them to keep me safe???
Police responded to a shooting at a high school in Florida.
As did, I assume, the Twittersphere.
Exactly what is the point of investigating Rob Porter? Whatever happened between him and his ex-wives, he was never arrested for it and it was years before he ever went to work against the White House. Ed, of course, makes a snarky comment about it because nothing says "Libertarian" like laughing over some poor bastards life being ruined over bullshit that may or may not have happened years ago, because TRUMP!!
That's pretty low level snark if that upsets you. He's literally just quoting Trump.
It is still snark.
And? Or is it unlibertarian to crack a joke?
Not about shit that Libertarians are supposed to find objectionable. Would you be okay with a little snark about some innocent person going to jail or some person being murdered by the cops? Hey it is just a little snark.
Except this isn't a person going to jail, or a person being murdered by cops. This isn't the state doing anything except terminating working with someone who is coming under extreme political fire. And it is libertarian that things are worked out in the public sphere without a law being passed about it.
Also, I actually read the fucking article, and it sounds like the investigation is even more procedural about how he was handling classified documents without proper clearance.
He is just having his career and reputation ruined by what appears to be minor bullshit that happened years ago. That sucks. But he is connected to Trump so fuck him. You and Ed can cackle like Hyenas over it.
No, I'm saying it's a reasonable thing to report on. Careers and reputations are often ruined by past deeds coming out. If you think that shouldn't be true, and I think there is good reason that it shouldn't be how things go, then go argue for changes in public perception. Or you can whine that Ed hurt your feelings.
I admittedly haven't followed this story closely, but my understanding is that he was accused by two ex-wives of physical abuse (care to correct me?). Most of us don't consider physical abuse to be a minor bullshit.
Um, yes? Y'all routinely do that.
ikr?
He saw the snark, but the bright orange link that would inform him of the point of investigating Rob Porter.
*but not the bright orange link
ffs, get it together, Green
Ed is another one of the fake libertarian lefty assholes at Reason who 20 years ago was demanding that everyone "Move On" from Monica Lewinsky, and now is obsessively Googling every hour for the very latest Stormy Daniels news.
So who's the biggest horn dog?
JFK, Bill Clinton, or The Donald?
John F Kennedy was a bad boy: 13 of the president's women
"IF I don't have sex every day, I get a headache,"John F. Kennedy would remark to anyone who would listen, from British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan to a lowly senatorial aide.

I have to agree with you on this one. An investigation for a security clearance makes sense (I presume that's the kind of thing they worry about with regards to blackmail), as does a criminal investigation if charges are/were pressed. But I can't see any reason at all for Congress getting involved.
these things have already been made public. So there is no possibility of blackmailing him with them.
I don't believe that was the case when he was being investigated for a security clearance, though. Or was there some public record of it? Regardless, I thought security clearance investigations were supposed to raise these types of things as potential red flags, so I don't really have a problem with them looking into the allegations for that purpose.
But I can't see any reason at all for Congress getting involved.
Checks and balances?
""Checks and balances?""
It's DC, so the balances would be their bank accounts and the checks are from lobbyist.
Am I right?!?!?!
I'm all for checks and balances, but I'm not sure how that applies to an individual no longer employed by the Executive branch being accused of something unrelated to the job he was doing in the government. Or did I misunderstand, and they are actually investigating the Trump administration for how they handled Porter's hiring and firing, as opposed to investigating Porter himself?
BTW, the black Ford SUV crashing into NSA gates sounded a LOT like a story from two years ago where a black Ford SUV with two cross-dressers in it crashed into the NSA gates.
Or when the woman took a wrong turn into the Capitoll and the Capitol Police shot her to death a few years ago.
Both of these are what I thought of today. If it wouldn't cost 10 trillionzion dollars, they should really fix the road/exit off rt 32 to get into Fort Meade. It is confusing as shit right there and people are always getting off on the wrong ramp. If you don't realize that you are now entering a high security area you could be killed very easily.
You talking about Taleah Everett who tried to flee the cops when they tried to pull her over, proceeded to almost crash into multiple other cops, and was eventually taken into custody? (this one was last year)
Or Miriam Carey from 2013, who hit multiple police officers and cars and was eventually shot to death after ramming her car into barriers?
And what does it say that there's two stories from the last couple of years of women drivers going crazy near the capitol and ramming police cars?

Buzzfeed is suing the DNC trying to defend a libel suit brought by some Russian named as a hacker in the Steele Dossier. They better hope it is true because they printed that thing with absolutely no regard for its accuracy. Even in our screwed up work of NYT v. Sullivan that is libel
At an international donors conference in Kuwait, Iraq said it needed nearly $90 billion for reconstruction after the war on ISIS.
Isn't Kuwait its own country, not a city in Iraq? Anyway, better start shelling out that oil money.
And Kuwait says FU, you Iraqi assholes tried to take our country.
Well, that was under previous management.
Will they be rebuilding Shiite or Sunni mosques? It's important.
Tinder announced it would eventually allow women to block men from messaging them first on the hook-up app.
That's good. I have a rule, I never make the first move. Yes, my romantic past is basically one big checkerboard of crazy.
Tinder announced it would eventually allow women to block men from messaging them first on the hook-up app.
1) Sexist. 2) Convenient.
It is a public accommodation. If bars can't run ladies nights, and they, as a rule, they can't, I don't see how tinder can do this. Suck it up bitch, if you don't want men messaging you, don't get on Tinder.
Sounds like bars should be able to run ladies night. Because it seems perfectly reasonable that a company adds features to their product that people might want. If not, people can leave and use a different app. It's the free market, baby.
I have one Civil Rights Act that says it is not a free market. Should be and can are two different concepts.
1) We're arguing should be basically all the time here. "The law says so" is a cowards statement.
2) Looking it up, it seems that it's legal where I am baby. So you should probably try suing Washington and Arizona so that you can be right.
It's ALWAYS ladies night at MY house!
Free drinks from 3-6pm?
Free everything... all night long.
You busy later?

And yet they refuse to help me with the endless advances women make on me every day.

How did this not make the lynx?
I beat you to it. But the DNC telling Buzzfeed to fuck off and fend for themselves is quite a satisfying piece of irony.
The DNC is never turning over whatever systems they still have that haven't been destroyed or wiped completely clean to any unfriendly party, unless they're forced to do so at gunpoint, in a million years.
Why? Because their information wasn't "hacked by the Russians" as they've been falsely claiming all along. That's just a bullshit cover story that they made up. Their information was copied by an insider named Seth Rich and voluntarily handed over to third parties, like Wikileaks, which is of course why he was murdered in cold blood.
I don't think they can keep from turning this information over. It would be funny as hell if it ended up being something really embarrassing to the DNC.
""The DNC is never turning over whatever systems they still have that haven't been destroyed or wiped completely clean""
The Clinton machine made sure it was destroyed or wiped. Organized crime is good about covering it's tracks.
You would think so. But time and again these people turn out to be a lot less bright than you imagine them to be. Jon Podesta used "password" as the password to his email account and then didn't change it even after the IT people told him he had been hacked. These people are evil, but they are also morons.
Speaking of a libel suit, you and the other shit for brains who push this Seth Rich bullshit could be sued for trashing Rich's reputation.
Oh man, I'm so fuckin' terrified now. You really intimidated the shit out of me. ROFLMAO!!!!!
For being a hero?
So if I follow your logic...

President Trump insists he's "totally opposed" to domestic violence.
Is there a reason to think he is not?
Is there a reason to think he is not?
Hitler.
Hitler didn't stay domestic with that violence.
A nice one.
Didn't ex-wife #1 accuse him of rape during the divorce? I think she later publicly recanted, but who you gonna believe, her when she's testifying under oath or her speaking to the news years later? For that matter, I think his lawyer at the time claimed (falsely) that marital rape wasn't a crime in New York.
Throw in the "grab them by the pussy" tape, the known behavior in beauty pageant dressing rooms, him getting weirdly offended that a gay man didn't want to bang his daughter, all the women that have since come out accusing him of assault and harassment...
I mean face it, even if you personally are not convinced by the extensive collection of hearsay, it's not hard to understand that some people are.
Yeah I don't see him being a physical violence type. With those hands he'd have to do it T-rex style anyway.
ARMS, PAST ME! ARMS! T-REXES HAD TINY ARMS, NOT TINY HANDS!
God, how are we even related?!?
But he also has such a large backside for swinging at people.
I don't see him being physically violent with people who look like they could get physical back. I very much see him being physically violent against people he thinks are vulnerable.
He only beats his foreign wives.
But only when out of town.. it's cool then.

DENVER (CBS4) ? Colorado would have it's own version of a "green card" under legislation at the state capitol.
It would be called a "purple card."
Moron in Colorado. Federal law preempts state law when it comes to enumerated powers of Congress, like immigration.
Maybe Mexico will pay Iraq for the reconstruction.
